This is the best self car washing station I've ever been to. It's clean, it has a new business sign, the change machine works, they even have step-by-step instructions on which modes of the washer to use and in what order. It's under new management, so disregard all the old reviews. This place is much better than the other three standalone self car washing stations I've been to (off coloma rd, and one off arden, and another in a different city) plus, you don't feel like you're about to get mugged if you're washing your car at night. read more

As a local, this car wash is a constant source of disruption. The 24 hour aspect means there are all sorts of shady activities. I have been woken up at 4:30 in the morning to two women fist fighting, watched a man launch fireworks across the fence and into the apartment complex, and have come out to a crack pipe that was thrown and shattered all over my car. Rundown and beat up cars are often parked in the back for hours on end. This place seems to be a hotspot for crime of all sorts and makes living here frustrating at times. read more

Horrible service from female staff. Car wash did a horrible job left dirt on and bird poop. She tells me if dirt don't stick. It's knot our problem maybe you should wash your car more. Then tells me maybe you should take your business somewhere else all I asked for was a rewash. The guy employee was cool he said yes and I pull around girl comes over saying we don't rewash. Well all I know is that they use hot water which is what I use when I wash my car at home. As far as value goes. It's about average like all the rest in price. This is THE worst car wash. Don't go!!! Spent 160$ and it seriously looks the same as when I dropped it off... just greasy... everywhere!!! I'm so upset I'm going back in tomorrow and going to get a refund or make them do it over again. They also said it would take less than 45 minutes. This is what my car looked like after going through the wash twice (because after the first time it was clear there was soap streaming all over my car) *AND* one of the guys hand-wiped it dry. How do you miss THAT? Bright blue-turquoise soap ALL OVER MY CAR. I get that it's a drought, but even recycled water can rinse soap off. When I asked about it the first time, the girl told me "Yeah, our machine's been doing that", and yet they don't fix it, and keep taking people's money, hoping they won't notice! If the machine is that broken, then have a guy with a hose standing on the exit of the wash, to hose off the damn soap! Never again. read more

After a very hard sell I agreed to a 69.00 fee for a wash and my "lenses" cleared, and waiting over an hour which I was told would be a half hour, my car was still dirty. The "lenses" package only covers the headlights and not all of the lenses. I complained about bugs on the window, the inside was very dirty and poor explanation about the so called package deal and the manager just walked away rudely. DO NOT GET SUCKERED IN LIKE I DID. I arrived for a full service car wash at 7:50 today. At 8:01, the manager pulled in any told me it would take 10-15 minutes for him to open up. Of course I thought 'then you should have started 15 minutes ago.' but said, "ok - I'll wait". Two more people pulled into the exterior only line while I waited. Then he come to me and asks, "You want full service?" Me: "Yes please!" Him: "We don't have full service wash now - only exterior." Me: "Ok, I'll just go with an exterior wash then." Him: "Then you're in the wrong line - pull in behind these other 2 customers." Me: "I'd been waiting for 15 minutes before they got here can I just pull into the car wash from here?" Him: "No". This car wash looks inviting with the bright yellow awnings outside. Don't be fooled. My car did not come out clean. The carpet was still full of dog hair. They said I would have to pay more for that. They were using a crevice tool on their vacuum for all floors and seats. They did not have a better attachment for carpets. I paid $25.00 for a poor interior and a poor exterior wash. I will not return. Also, the waiting area is large and uninviting. If you go out the South exit (where poorly maintained benches are)the door locks behind you and you have to walk all the way around. This whole experience was just wrong! read more

Don't go and waste your money at this facility!! $10.00 for a half washed car, the back didn't look like it was touched, bugs left on hood and grill. Dropped in for a full service wash and hand wax and the car looks great! Took 40 minutes and they have a nice waiting area.

I took my car in the am for the $159.99 interior shampoo and clean and exterior wash. They asked if I could return about 4:00pm but they called me at 1:00 to let me know the car was ready. When I returned and looked over the car, I was extremely pleased with the results. The interior looked brand new. The carpets and seats were spotless. The carpeted mats were in the trunk and again spotless. The exterior looked great too. This is the second car I've taken to Carmichael car wash and have been very pleased both times. Absolutely horrible car wash experience. The pump for high pressure washing did not work, took over 30 seconds for it to come on before it lamely attempted to wash our truck. After switching to the deck brush to scrub the truck there were no foam bubbles coming from the the brush head. Complete waste of money and time. read more

Last week I stopped into Carmichael Car Wash ~ bought the mid-range wash that comes with wipe down and complete vacuum. When I got into my car my solar phone charger was missing from my center console. The staff said they would check the cameras on Monday. I got a call on Monday, they didn't see anything but they found another solar phone charger on line and ordered it for me. I will definitely go back here. Absolutely terrible service. After paying $36 for the platinum package I get into my car and see that the the rubber floor mats hasn't been cleaned and the passenger front door had not been wiped down. On top of that they knocked the rubber pad from my cell phone holder magnet. When I pointed out these issues I was told to pay $7 more to have the mats cleaned off. They begrudgingly wiped down the doors. No apology offered for losing the rubber pad. After I left I realized the front interior window also had not been wiped down. Employee said they could care less if I ever return to them again and I won't. read more

This is NOT a creditable business. I would run from here after using their free vacuuming deal and go elsewhere to wash my vehicle. I filed against this company which is full of liars and false testimonies. If they have a problem with my review, they should have tried to work with me rather than lie about the details not only to me, but to the judge. If it's one thing I cannot stand, it's a liar. I have actually provided the judge PROOF of their testimony lie and if the judge denies it, I will proceed with going elsewhere regardless and won't stop until I have went any and everywhere I could to seek justice. As for the owner contacting you, that's not going to happen. Also, this company goes by at least 3 different names or sub names. 5 min express car wash is their company as well and they also go by Sparkles LLC. and Splash & Dash...confusing maybe to keep people confused so they don't go after them easy...look at the poor reviews that speaks volume of what I mean. If I could give this place minus stars I would. I quit going about a year ago because they were taking so long and not doing a good job but had to go back as oasis car wash was closed for repairs. I paid 36.00 and they did not even empty my ashtray...there was still crackers in back seat from grandkids and none of the door jams were wiped down, still had scuff marks on them even after I paid extra to have all of the black rubber wiped down and looking new again she told me. I was so upset I just left after telling the guy that gave me my keys that this was unacceptable, because he just looked at me with a deer in the headlights looks and says O what's wrong? I have tried calling several times to complain but they do not answer their phone and mailbox is full. Phone does not even answer with the business name and the phone # from their ad on internet goes nowhere!!! such BAD business read more
