Hindus bought out the car wash and now they don't allow you to use own soap for your car, before them everything was fine, I don't recommend going there. and using their brush is the same as taking a stone and washing your car. read more

I have been coming here for years; it was always clean and had the best vacuums. Maybe it was COVID but this place is now a dump. They have no clean towels, the place is dirty, the vacuums are broken and out of service and homeless folks live in the back. Disappointed. They let this gem go to waste, the only reason i may still come here is because they accept debit cards but if i find another place i will be done. The worst experience I have had ever! Homeless person with all there belongings out of their car like the car threw up. 1st bay it stopped dispensing degreaser with in 10 seconds and no warning beeping. Waste of $3.moved to second bay it beeps but doesn't dispense degreaser or soap out of brush. Wasted another $3. No phone number to call nobody working in office and no contact information. Pulled in to automated car wash to find sign "will return in 15 minutes". Returned 30 minutes later, sign still there. It would be slightly less inconvenient if they would post a reopening time (15 minutes from when?), but the ownership apparently doesn't care. read more

It's a nice place but too often then not the card swipe charges me more than I am suppose to. I just caught the last one this weekend. I swiped it once and it charged me ten dollars instead of just the regular start fee. I did not add more time on purpose to see if it will charge me again. Best bet is to get tokens from the machine but they either need to fix it or stop being shady. read more

I discovered this place a month ago after looking for an "old school" car wash. I still like the process of hosing down my own car, vacuuming interior, music on, zoning out & getting a little muscle movement on a weekend morning. For that, this place is fine and comfortable. It's shady and cool enough w covered carports where you can vacuum, wipe down and clean interior. (I'd recommend keeping vacuums free for those who need them, but there's plenty of space and other carports where you can detail rest of your car). There are machines in each car wash bay where one can choose time and insert credit card. They are rather clunky and not very intuitive (one didn't work my first visit but such stuff happens, attendant helpful and I just switched to another bay). To see how much time is left (you won't find it on machine) there's a digital indicator nearby in bay, up high on wall if I recall. A machine out front sells vacuum tokens. They have free use of old laundered towels for drying which is cool. Yes the ones in "clean" bin are clean but damp. This is initially confusing, but they don't put them in dryer, & I realized a damp towel has always worked better anyway & I now see some web forums recommend you dampen first. (To save u asking attendant as I did) Attendant: Only one I have seen each Sat is helpful, mild mannered and doesn't have a rude bone in his body (I bet). He'll try to help you. I don't know anything about others who work there other days. OK: the drive thru Express Wash. I finally tried this. I have never had this experience :) I've used many where you drive in, put car safely in park, brushes revolve around u and u are then prompted to pull forward to dry. This other type is disconcerting as you must have your foot off brake while car is moving (your wheel/s now pulled thru a track), there's a car somewhere just in front of u, windshield is soapy, the ride is wobbly, it confronts every control issue we have about driving :) it was...ok. My car was clean (attendant does initial cleaning before u go in) and I think I still had to dry it off. I may or may not do the drive through again. read more

Had to get tokens (not quarters) from machine I only had a $10 bill so I got $10 in tokens. I deposited $5. The wash was beeping so I went to put in more tokens and the machine would not accept them, my time ran out. My car was still hella soapy. I drove into the next bay and tried to put the tokens in this one. Still would not accept the tokens and the soap is now dried on my car. I swiped my debit card and the machine charged me $10. I got the car rinsed and just paid $15 for this car wash and still have $5 left in useless tokens. I tried calling the phone number for this business and it's disconnected. I feel liked I was robbed at this car wash and pretty pissed off about it . I DO NOT recommend this car wash at all. Will not be back. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This express car wash used to be the best in Carmichael. The new owner clearly doesn't give a sh*t. Garbage everywhere, no one greeted me at the auto wash ..had to honk. The attendant used to give a cleaning wipe for the interior, would check my frequent wash card and would use the brush on my exterior windshield and front lights or wash off any bird crap. Today I drove through the auto express... nearly by myself.The attendant only pushed the button. 100% disappointed. read more

If you are looking for a Quick Quack type of car wash, this is a great place to go. The workers are extremely friendly and helpful. At the end of the drive thru wash, there is a place to use the vacuums (they give you a token to use) and towels to dry off wet spots. For $12 being their priciest wash, a great deal if you need a exterior wash. read more

I paid $12 for the most expensive car wash. There was no way to tell if the attendant even knew which one I paid for since there was no communication visible. I didn't get a special cleaning of my rims that was to be included. When I pulled out after the blower was supposed to dry the car I found that my car was still drippy wet and there was foam on the roof. I pulled into the vacuum bay where there were towels available. They were sopping wet! So drying the car was difficult. The vacuum did work well at least. read more

I want to say thank you to Car Wash Express and Vic in particular. I went to get a car wash and pulled up to the station where I select the car wash before entering the drive-thru. Wouldn't you know it, my credit card #1 was declined! Geez, I was just at the bank to get rent payment. Then credit card #2 was declined. Okay, I can't get the best car wash but certainly I must have $6 in my wallet. No! Only three single dollar bills and a lot of change. In the meantime, Vic came out and asked if I was okay. I said I was looking for the change to total the rest of the $3. He said, "Don't worry about it. I got" it and pulled out his wallet and added to mine! I don't know if I could have found enough change and he had the heart of Jesus. I couldn't thank him enough. And then he did an extra special sudsing of my car before it went through the wash. Wow, you really made me feel special today, Vic! And I look at my car and it's a lot cleaner than when I wash it myself. Recommend Car Wash Express. Place is better than going to quick quack or gas station if you're looking for something quick. It's also a bargain with their best wash at $12 and includes free vacuum, towels to dry, and a dashboard cleaner. I really like how they had a big mirror to show you where to position the tire as you go in. Really cool. The only problem and it's not their fault, is that it's quite a distance for me but I'll probably drop by once in a while. read more

I've been a fan of Pacific for quite awhile now, and have recommended it to others. Especially when compared to others like Quick Quack where you drive up to some person that look so bored they may soon pass out, give them your money, the spritz a slight mist of water onto a couple tires and send you on through... for more than you pay at Pacific, and it does not clean as well. Here they have always taken the time to spray all tires and scrub them with a brush before sending you through. They will also spray the rest of the car and scrub any stuck on gunk before you head into the automatic wash... So, I've always like them. But NOW... They have recently gone through an ownership change. It is absolutely a FIVE STAR now. The man (owner?) working there is super friendly and takes plenty of time to try to get the stuck on stuff loosened up before you drive through. I recently went in with my car that unfortunately has to sit outside... Well this car had apparently been targeted by a large flock of birds that had eaten every black/blue/purple berry they could find. It looked like something out of High Anxiety... Gross! The took quite awhile trying to scrub the spots and get them cleaned up, then sent me on through. When I came out the other side he came over and said, "Well, we got most of them, but there are still some stuck on spots. Why don't you bring it around again and we'll run you through again, no charge. We want to make sure you get out of here clean." Me thinking, "I'm sorry? What? Really?!?!" I took it back around, he did some more spraying and scrubbing, and through I went again. He came over again... looking good now! I'm sold. Long term customer here! I won't be going anywhere else! I love do it yourself washes, but its not cost effective. Went there is 3.50 and was a couple quarters short of the good rinse required. The machine says it on need 2.OO, I think the number to get it on should be adjusted reflect a feasible amount of time to actually wash and rinse your car completely, especially because I was hustling and not even really getting into the details. Beware of the express car wash on fair oaks. I took my truck through there on Monday and the brushes damaged the passenger door on my truck. I spoke to the owner and met with him to show him the damage and he refused any assistance. His only comment to me was "you drive a truck, you've never parked at a home depot"? His theory was the damage was done by someone's door hitting mine. However, the damage is a scrape through the clear coat that goes the same direction as the brushes in the wash. It's a shame that a small business in our neighborhood is run by an owner with no morals. read more

I have been coming to this wash for a couple years now. I take my white Toyota Tacoma and wife's Nissan here almost on a monthly bases, sometimes every 2 weeks (weather). The staff there is great. Greets me at pay station, hands me dash wipe to use while going thru wash and token for vacuum, removes my antenna, than scrubs front of vehicle (bugs) before entering. After wash I pull up to vacuum bay, which also has clean drying towels. First time I have ever seen that, where the owner supplies clean towels for drying. I have gone thru this wash many a times and No Damage to vehicles. Great Service, Shiny Truck, 12 Bucks. Can't go wrong with this place! Highly recommend. read more
