So I have mixed feelings about this place. First off im always greeted in a very friendly and welcoming manner by the staff and the service is always pleasant and customer service oriented which is a big plus. The prices are pretty much on par with the other coffee chops in the area and so is the decor - cozy , comfortable and laid back. They also serve food (pastries, bread, sandwiches , salads , small breakfast etc but I have yet to try the food so my review is not based on this at all, I am basing my review on going in for my coffee). They use BARISTA coffee beans which is nice since it is local and high quality. They offer various types of milk (coconut, soy, almond etc) and various flavour infusions, they also serve Kombucha and various teas.I have gone in for coffee on a few occasions and my mixed feelings come from the fact that the preparation is inconsistent. I have gone there and come out saying this is one of the best latte/cappucino or coffee I have had in the city one day and the next saying that it is way off balance - way too sweet or way too bitter (when ordering the exact same thing I had ordered on a previous occasion). I totally understand it cant turn out exactly the same each time but that being said, The times when its good are good enough to keep me willing to come back in the future but the times when its not great are enough to discourage someone who hasnt had the positive experiences to balance it out to decide to write it off - so I think the inconsistency is working against them. However, definitely try it for yourself as I said there are alot of positives here I just think they would need to work on consistency. read more
