I have been to many car lots to look around for a car. All the sales associates hound you and spy on you like vultures. My husband and I went to carmax and walked in, looked at many many cars without getting followed or hounded or pressured. We got approved through a lender and got referred. When my husband and i chose a car we liked, we went to a sales associate and they got us an even lower interest rate! I love CarMax and have told all my family and friends to go there!!!

Do not purchase from them. They do not have qualified mechanics to do the work properly. Poor customer service and management. Awful!!!!

I have to say they did one heck if a job, preparing this used car with a great inspection. Getting it right before letting me have it. I haven't had this car for 2months, and just got it tagged, it started leaking oil. Long story short, after taking it to a certified mechanic it has a crack in the cylinder head and the turbo is bad. I took it to another mechanic for a second opinion, and he confirmed. He also said, this is something that couldn't have been missed, and didn't happen overnight, if Car Store did an inspection, it would have been found. Car store prided themselves on doing top of the line inspections, and put the blame on me, that i should have had a mechanic look at it before I bought it, because it was a used car. Are you aware that pre-buyers checks run between $250.00 and $400.00 dollars. I will not buy from this place again. If I didn't take it upon myself to buy a warranty, it would cost me $8000.00 to get this car fixed. I have an an inspector comingin to validate the claim, so Im not out of the woods yet. I am devastated. I advise you not to buy from this place, and if you do, go spend that $250.00 to $400.00 to have a ceritified mechanic look at, and get a warranty. Do not trust their word on the inspection. This is the worst experience of a used car purchase that I have ever had, and I have been around a longtime. You would think of the improved technology we have, things would be better.

A family…read morewas involved in a vehicle transaction with Eddy's Toyota November 2024, and has uncovered what appears to be major irregularities surrounding both their trade-in vehicle and their financial transaction paperwork. According to documents reviewed after the sale, the family's Toyota Prius does not appear anywhere on the final vehicle contract as a trade-in, despite the family allegedly surrendering possession of the vehicle during the transaction. Compounding the concerns, the contract also allegedly fails to reflect a separate $7,000 down payment made by the family toward the purchase. The family shared bank records clearly showing the payment was made. The situation became even more troubling after information surfaced suggesting the Prius may later have been sold in a private-party transaction for approximately $5,000, allegedly involving the dealership's finance manager. At the same time, approximately $6,400 in finance and backend products reportedly appeared within the transaction documents. The buyers, according to those familiar with the situation, faced significant language barriers and did not speak fluent English, raising additional concerns about whether the terms, products, and financial structure of the transaction were fully understood or properly disclosed. If confirmed, the circumstances could raise serious questions involving trade-in accounting, consumer disclosures, finance practices, and potential deceptive conduct.
