They offered us a very fair price and had no concerns around signing of the SOS form. Max was great to deal with. He provided great communication about the process and where the driver was, and we always knew what was happening on the day of the pickup. Easy Tow deals in cash, as the company name states, which is great. The driver did run a slightly short of what was offered, but that was fixed with a quick run to a neighborhood ATM ( who wants to run around Chicago with a ton of cash these days, right? ). That was $900. It stayed in the shop with more issues. The fuel pump, and carb both needed replaced and the radiator sprung a leak. In total, I am out almost $2,500 and I haven't owned the car for a 5 months (1 1/2 of them in the shop). That is in addition to all the other things not working in this car from DAY ONE. First the excuse was a mix up of service with vehicles then it was discovered that a recall was being performed on my vehicle without my consent as I did not have time to wait for that service to be done as I was expecting a quick service to be done. The other service advisors in the area blurted out that the seatbelt recalls came in that morning. I waited for over 3 hours total, with a baby. Then when confronting Jamal about being upset that I was never updated with the fact they were installing a recall he ignored me and said it would be done soon. He also said that the technicians just do "whatever is on the service ticket". But we had an entire conversation of what was to be done at this service and was told the service would be 1hr and 20mins. Shouldn't advisors grow concern that a vehicle goes past the timeframe that he gave to the customer? When complete he through the keys on the cashier counter with paperwork and walked away from me. Was not even told what service was done and I had to look through the paperwork myself. Then I get to my vehicle to place my baby in it, and all my belongings and children's car seats were removed and I was not told this. Had to ask my husband to drive over and reinstall my car seats so we can go home. I would not have had belongings in my vehicle or secured car seats if I was planning to have a recall performed on the seat belts. I tried contacting the service manager several times who has still not called me back to explain my poor service with his advisor Jamal the service performed on my vehicle that I did not make an appointment for during this service appointment and the lack of professionalism from his employee to the situation. I am very disappointed this occurred as I have always been informed throughout my other services, explained thoroughly of the services performed, and treated with professional respect by other service advisors.
