Carl's Jr. is my favorite place to eat a chicken sandwich!!! They prepare it special to my request. The grilled meat is savory and tender The bread, lettuce and tomato is fresh. I order a combo to get their French fries which are always hot, perfect crunch and just the right amount of salt. The restaurant is always clean and quiet inside and looks good on the outside side. The employees are always very friendly and are firm about not letting homeless or panhandlers hang around dirtying up the restaurant or hitting you up for "change". read more

My son and my quest to try all the hand breaded chicken sandwiches took us to Carl's Jr. The sandwich itself ranked in the lower half of ones we've tried so far. $6.99 is a little steep compared to other places. The sandwich itself had way too much sauce on it, plus the sauce tasted like a mix of mayo and tarter and overwhelmed the chicken. Biggest joke about this place is their .98 charge for a cup of water. When I asked why they charge for tap water I was told, "We chrage for the cup." If that is true then all their drinks should be .98 since they only charge for the cup. Won't be going here again. read more

I use to go to this location almost every day... then they had some personnel changes... my orders were simple, no pickles no onions extra cheese... like I said "Simple." Apparently not... so I stopped going there... I decided that I would go back there again craving the Old $6 burger... no pickles no onions extra cheese... I got irritated with manager who was more interested in socializing rather than concentrating on the job at hand... if I order a burger a certain way that is exactly what I should expect to receive especially if you are going to charge me for the extra cheese. The new Prime Rib & Cheddar cheese on the angus thick burger is the new go to ! I'm very hesitant on trying new things but they were not wrong about this one, the angus patty is juicy with every bite you take unlike most places where the patty seems to be dry , they did very well on keeping all the juices into the patty and then with the prime rib to top it off gives you that extra juicy flavor with cheese sauce on it made it into one of the best if not the best burger I have tried ever. Never thought I'd buy ribs on a burger from a fast food joint but they did not let me down ! 10/10! Definitely coming back for lunch tomorrow. Highly recommend read more

Workers are lazy, work on your customer service! Fake it till you make it. I understand you don't get paid enough for a bunch of bs but at least make the food fresh. You believe in karma? I asked for criss-cut fries, I was given regular fries that was not fresh. It tasted cold and you can totally tell it has been sitting out. My damn bacon in the western burger had an after taste like it was old, and my meat was still pink, tasted bloody. Just gross and disappointing! Try navigating the parking lot in the dark--it's a bit difficult, even though I've been to Raley's several times. We were immediately acknowledged once we were inside the store. That's a surprise. They still had the sandwiches, so we ordered two combo meals. It's surprising that you can get a combo meal for $5.00 at Carl's Jr. since they have $6.00 burgers. (My one "beef" with Carl's Jr. is that their sister company Hardees has smaller burgers--and the Mushroom Swiss Burger--and you don't have to be gorged when you leave the restaurant.) It took quite a while for them to deliver the food. Since they didn't give us a number or a receipt, I wondered how that would work. Usually, I end up walking up to the counter wherever I am to ask if they lost my order. This time, no problems. The food was all there and reasonably hot also. read more

Normally, I will go through the drive thru for fast food. I needed to wash my hands, so I decided to go inside. Bathrooms were locked, so I just used the hand sanitizer. My son and I recently had breakfast there, it was my first time through Carl's Jr. for breakfast, and my first time through this particular Carl's Jr. ever. Unfortunately my car only has two cupholders and I had a empty can of soda that I asked the manager, who is serving at the window to throw away. She gave me an extremely snobby look and said in a condescending tone, that my empty can of Dr Pepper was contaminated and that she was sorry it was against policy but that she would make an exception for me this one time. It wasn't even so much another stupid corporate policy that bothered me, but the extremely condescending and nasty tone which she said it. One of the best Carl's jr's around ! I ordered 2 original 6 dollar burgers, 2 crisscut fries, and some cheddar peppers, all came out to be like 17$ with a coupon. The burgers where fresh ! Much fresher the the Carl's jr's in Modesto. The cheddar peppers where to die for ! Crispy with nice warm nacho cheese.
