This Buc-ee's seemed to have a bit more parking (bigger lot). It's crazy as always, with people actually directing "traffic" in the ladies room. There were several stalls that were out of order and the one I went into didn't lock. (you can guess what happened lol). The place was so crowded and lines to check out were long. That being said, the staff is always friendly. Prices are ok (store prices). And gas prices seemed to be a bit lower as well.

They serve the special from 11-2 or until they sell out. They provide the option to call in, stop by to prepay, or walk-in based on what's available after pre-orders. Today's soul food menu consisted of baked chicken over rice, collard greens, macaroni and cheese and cornbread for $14.99. The portions size was huge, enough to eat twice from the plate. The food was served in Styrofoam plates with dividers with individual wrapped utensils and salt & pepper packets. Condiments were available as well. Drink was not included, but since the location is inside a gas station, there was many options to choose from. The baked chicken was a chicken breast that was bigger than the size of my hand. The chicken was so moist and tender, which made it easier to chew. Gravy was poured on top of the seasoned, fluffy yellow rice and went perfect for the entire dish. The greens are full of flavor and pair so well with the semi-sweet cornbread square. The macaroni and cheese was not as moist and cheesy as I would like but I eat it and enjoyed. I shopped here pretty regularly prior to being told to leave after I was sitting on their lot catching up on reports. I gladly go a cross the street to the Shell near the Taco Bell where I'm not only welcomed but often thanked for making the area feel safe by those that drive through. If your clientele won't come into your store because of a law enforcement presence then you may not want that clientele there. It's very well known that this establishment is not LEO friendly.

There's ice cream , frozen drinks and coffee too. I was impressed with their beer selection and many other cold drinks. The staff is friendly and ready to assist! This new gas station is really clean and easy to access. Yeahhhhhh I will be back here!
