They are some of the cleanest you'll find at a gas station, especially considering how many people come through them. I really appreciated that they even provide disinfectant and cleaning products so you can wipe down the toilet seat before using it--a small detail that shows they care about cleanliness. The selection of food and drinks is outstanding. Whether you're looking for hot meals, fresh sandwiches, cold grab-and-go items, snacks, or desserts, there's something for everyone. The coffee station is impressive too, with so many creamers, flavors, and toppings that you can customize your drink just the way you like it. I also loved the fresh roasted nuts--warm pecans, cashews, and other varieties that smelled amazing and tasted fresh. The store itself is huge and well organized, making it easy to browse without feeling crowded. As an EV owner, I was especially happy that I could charge my Ford F-150 Lightning while taking a break. Being able to recharge both myself and my truck in one stop made the experience even better. Overall, Buc-ee's is much more than a gas station--it's a clean, convenient, and enjoyable travel stop. Sides include French fries and onion rings with deli food like chicken salad is available. On every Wednesday, the chef offers a Southern cuisine menu that changes week by week. They serve the special from 11-2 or until they sell out. They provide the option to call in, stop by to prepay, or walk-in based on what's available after pre-orders. Today's soul food menu consisted of baked chicken over rice, collard greens, macaroni and cheese and cornbread for $14.99. The portions size was huge, enough to eat twice from the plate. The food was served in Styrofoam plates with dividers with individual wrapped utensils and salt & pepper packets. Condiments were available as well. Drink was not included, but since the location is inside a gas station, there was many options to choose from. The baked chicken was a chicken breast that was bigger than the size of my hand. The chicken was so moist and tender, which made it easier to chew. Gravy was poured on top of the seasoned, fluffy yellow rice and went perfect for the entire dish. The greens are full of flavor and pair so well with the semi-sweet cornbread square. The macaroni and cheese was not as moist and cheesy as I would like but I eat it and enjoyed. I gladly go a cross the street to the Shell near the Taco Bell where I'm not only welcomed but often thanked for making the area feel safe by those that drive through. If your clientele won't come into your store because of a law enforcement presence then you may not want that clientele there. It's very well known that this establishment is not LEO friendly.

Then Terry, the maintenance man, came to my rescue. He graciously took time out of his day to fix my tire in the blazing afternoon heat. It wasn't an easy repair, but he stuck with it, even using his own tools to get me safely back on the road. The kindness and generosity I was shown meant more than I can say. They made me feel like I was back home. It's people like Terry and the wonderful cashier who remind me why I'm proud to be from the South. The service was friendly though I felt sorry for the attendant who had a previous customer pull off stealing $75 worth of gas without paying. There's ice cream , frozen drinks and coffee too. I was impressed with their beer selection and many other cold drinks. The staff is friendly and ready to assist!
