And while 288 Google reviews average a respectable 4.6, the few dozen Yelp reviews with a sub-four average are unfair and fail to do this store justice. I've always been treated with professionalism and friendliness here. Unlike a car repair shop where you might be chastised for knowing nothing about the automotive world, there is no judgment at Batteries Plus for being battery ignorant. With a little witty conversation and expert knowledge, they'll find just about any battery known to the human race, and even install it as well! And believe me, I've brought in some challenging items. Speaking of automotive, they even offer free installation of car batteries bought there, something that's saved me on several occasions! I just brought in a scale today, with the employee immediately identifying the type of battery at a quick glance on my fifth step into the store, even before opening the compartment. Grabbing the product from the shelf and emerging from the back room with a set of every conceivable speciality screwdriver on the planet, he adeptly unwound the tiny screw, switched the batteries with a flick of the wrist, and finished the transaction. Efficiency, expertise, and encouragement defines every employee here, and I'll remain a loyal customer for life.

The guys were helpful and friendly. My only complaint is they made me wait on the "fix" to wait on some guys who came in after me. Day one after receiving them, wash one, water was everywhere. All over the floors, lower part of the walls in the Landry room and hallway. We called, they said they would call by EOD to schedule a service appointment because there was water damage and no one called. So we followed up the next day. They said they would call to set a service appointment... no call. My wife called again. She spoke with Jim the service manager. He assured her that he would have someone come out at a certain date and time. She subsequently got a confirmation text with completely different info than what was discussed. We were then sitting at one week without a washer. Made one last call to speak to the store manager. He didn't seem the least bit concerned about our issue. Seemed like I was bothering him by calling. I told him to just come and get them and issue a FULL refund. Guess what... got a refund. Not a full one. They refused to refund the delivery fee for delivering damaged equipment. And, they didn't even hook up the dryer correctly either. We paid extra for a steam kit and such, never even installed it. EE is a joke! Heck - we were even told by one of their employees, there was a manufacturer defect in some of these models but that they would rectify it. And still got nowhere with them. What a waste of time and money (the delivery fee). We will never do business with them again. Truly, terrible customer service experience.

Their "Service Guarantee" became fruitless after they didn't complete the initial repair correctly... first followed up with them days later (under guarantee) and after 3 MONTHS of under-qualified staff and last minute cancelled appointments and ultimately no successful repair - I gave up.
