Dr. Carlos Rodriguez. I cannot even call him a doctor, he is a butcher. He is dehumanizing women, treating them like dogs. He was extremely rough during transvaginal ultrasound during my pregnancy. He kept asking one and the same questions over and over again, forgetting he already asked them and I answered them all already, it means he doesn't even listen to you. One of the worse experiences my wife and I went through. Not only did we have to constantly wait at least an hour to 1.5 hours after our schedule appointment. His lack of care to our questions and concerns were unbelievable. My wife experienced a miscarriage and he never checked her after he prescribed medication. We had to make an ER visit because my wife was left to experience birth symptoms because she did not pass the full miscarriage. He never once confirm it passed through nor did he did constant ultrasounds, especially when my wife expressed concern. Not sure why all the bad reviews but this office took care of me and my questions very well she would not let me leave without proper info from my PCP. My wait time was great I arrived at 3 and was called to bk by 315 my appt was at 330 very proficient with timing and I love it. I will be making this my gyno from here on. The staff is friendly and they talk to u ask questions and all. They have u sign in with a tablet and its better than paperwork in my opinion. I came to Dr. Rodriguez extremely hopeful, and open to hearing any way he could help me. The first time I came in he looked at old tests and did not even give me a check up (as a new patient). I ignored it and thought maybe I was being difficult. I recently came back complaining of pain and other womanly issues, Dr. Rodriguez wrote me off and pretty much told me the symptoms I was having were due to other issues. I told him I didn't agree and he gave me an extremely painful exam. Dr. Rodriguez was very arrogant and belittling. After leaving his office he said there was nothing wrong with me. Extremely unprofessional office! Not only was the wait in the waiting room AND in the examination room ridiculous but the interaction between doctor/assistant and patient was a pretty much humiliating and unsettling experience. The only redeeming thing about this office are the extremely nice ladies up at reception. The waiting room is terribly crowded and even though I had an appointment, I still waited 40 minutes before I was called. The drs. assistant who took me back was cold, unfriendly and obviously not happy about having to ask me the routine questions and take my blood pressure. After she left I waited for the doctor in the exam room an additional 40 minutes, wearing nothing but a drafty & undignified 2 piece paper outfit in which the bottom was just a square piece of paper that failed to cover me properly. (I guess Dr Rodriguez doesn't feel his patients deserve real gowns). After those 40 minutes had passed, I decided to peek outside my room while trying to manage my paper outfit from exposing my goodies. I flagged down the 1st person I saw to inquire the whereabouts of Dr. Rodriguez. I was met by a young woman who seemed appalled that I would have the audacity to ask such a thing. Thankfully, she did ask reception as promised because it was only another 7 minutes before the dr. came into my room (without the customary knock). He was short with me. When I told him I needed a prescription refilled he called his assistant back into the room so she could type it into the computer for him. He griped to her about the examination light not being plugged in and the stirrups not being folded out and ready to go. She couldn't have cared less. The examination was NOT pleasant. He did a partial, over the paper blouse breast exam where he managed to avoid my breasts completely and only check my neighboring lymph nodes. He was very rough with the speculum, even after I told him he was hurting me. When he was done he said nothing and turned all his attention to his assistant, telling her what to input. He finally turned to me, to tell me to come back in a year. Really? To think I waited almost a month for this appointment. No thank you. I feel I would be doing the women in this area a terrible injustice by not writing an accurate account of my experience with Dr Rodriguez and his office staff and procedures. Note- I see a LOT of 1 star reviews and 5 star reviews. Makes me think the good reviews may be phonies. Just sayin' (???) read more

To say that I'm upset with this doctor is to say nothing. This person actually made me cry on my way home from my appointment when I realized how much he doesn't give a s@t about you or your health. When I look on here and see people giving him a bad review I just don't even understand it. Dr Rodriguez delivered both of my sons , one who is 13 years old now and the other is 9. Both deliveries were the best experience I've had. Dr Rodriguez has always given the best care. I can't say enough good things about him I love the staff in his office and I love this Dr! Dr. Rodriguez made sure that I was taken care of. My primary doctor didn't do anything to help me for over a year. I had a V-infection, Dr. Shehnaz H. Habib was the worst woman doctor I have been to in years. She would say there was nothing wrong with me and would give me a prescription without doing a exam or pap test. I finally complained to my insurance and they gave me an authorization to see Dr. Rodriguez. He made sure that he did what tests and exam that needed to be done. Also made sure I had re-check appointments to clear up my issue which to awhile because of the other doctor not doing anything for me for way to long of time. I came to you a year and a half ago complaining of intense lower right quadrant pain. Your first sentence was "Youre too young to be here" as if Im not a woman who has had a vagina since birth. When is there an age cap on obgyn related issues? Then when I expressed that I feel I might have an ovarian cyst you told me I was drama and didnt let me finish my sentence. You are your nurse practitioner started laughing. This was your first time ever meeting me and I only told you my symptoms, never had an attitude nor was I ever rude. You stopped me from talking and got rid of me as quickly as possible. Never asked me questions nor listened. You then refused to order an ultrasound. GUESS WHAT one week later I was diagnosed with huge ovarian cysts that had to be surgically removed. God have mercy on the women who must be misdiagnosed or NOT diagnosed daily because of you. some of which have poly cystic ovarian disease, cancers, or abnormal cysts. Get rid of that ego. ***THIS DOCTOR DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. I was forced to work with Dr. Rodriguez as my doctor through the Auroura Medical clinic. WHATEVER YOU DO... DO NOT LET THEM TALK YOU INTO THE ESSURE PERMANENT BIRTH CONTROL!!! I was a patient at this clinic for well over 10 years and had always received care that I was happy with. In 2014 I had asked Aura about permanent birth control. I was getting older and was sure that I did not want to have children. I was told about the "new" greatest thing the ESSURE device, the Nurse practitioner, Aura did not have enough great things to say about this new non-invasive option for permanent birth control... I can't even tell you how disappointed I am. Not only in this clinic but in myself, to think I blindly trusted a doctor with my health... This has been the worst decision I have ever made in my life. DON'T FALL FOR IT!! DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH the ESSURE device has a black box warning.. and has been taken off the market in other countries. I had concerns regarding the type of metal the coil was made of.. I was assured by Dr. Rodriguez (in a telephone conversation as well as in person before my implantation) that the device did not contain any nickel.. (which I now know is not true, what kind of Dr. lies to his patients?) I had the device implanted 5/2014. The last 4 years have been a living hell... Dr. Rodriguez was able to place one coil properly, the other which was not properly placed, he had pierced my fallopian tube and I was told the device was in my abdomen. When I met with Dr. Rodriguez regarding this discovery. I told him how much pain I was in.. and the massive cramping I was having.. He told me it was all in my head that I was just nervous because I now needed another surgery to cut the other tube... No... I want this out of me... he said oh it's so small you will never know its there... Dr. Carlos Rodriguez has no bedside manner whatsoever. He tried to make me feel bad for the botched job he did.. This man clearly does not care about his patients... I was then denied birth control by the Auroura clinic.. They did not understand how I still needed birth control after this botched job ESSURE procedure.. and I was turned away... even though the tube on the right side way not blocked.. duh, I can still get pregnant. Horrible horrible horrible... I have had a slew of medical problems due to these coils.. and Dr. Rodriguez and his clinic as far as I am concerned!!! I will not list everything here.. Finally, I had to have a total hysterectomy to have them removed this past weekend. Looking forward to my recovery.. If this review keeps one person from implanting ESSURE... Honestly I wouldn't even give a single star. This office is horrible! Appointments mean nothing here. Each time we've been there, we've waited for hours to only be seen for 5 mins. They do not do ultrasounds there, you have to wait weeks for a referral to go through if they even sent it in. They schedule multiple patients for the same appointment time. This last time I was there I waited for over 2 hours to only see the doctor for 3 mins. This was the worst experience I've ever had. I refuse to go back there, I'll wait till I go into labor and go straight to the hospital! I Just had a Vaginal Histerectomy, Dr. Carlos Rodriguez is one of the few Surgeons that still do this Procedure. He is by far One of the most Sweet and Caring Dr. That I've ever come across. He listens and answers to your concerns spends time with you. He really cares. I had the Surgery done on a Thur. By Wed. I was not on Pain Meds. Any more Just the Antibiotics. I Would highly recomend Dr. Carlos Rodriguez He has been Practicing for more than 40 years, Has traveled to other Countries to learn different Procedures. I schedule my appointments at 8:30/9am and still don't get seen until 50-60 minutes after. I read his reviews and thought, "well, maybe they're exaggerating. It can't be that bad". So I went, and it was just as bad as the reviews had said. We waited for two hours, an hour in the main lobby and another in the doctor's room. The doctor himself made me feel very very uncomfortable as well. I'm sixteen, and he kept making comments asking about me being sexually active or if I had a boyfriend and kept dragging on the conversation. After recommending birth control he said it would "help with my weight and acne".... He definitely didn't need to point that out. Was super anxious the whole time because it wasn't a very welcoming environment in the clinic either. Felt like the mental hospital. Definitely not returning :/ read more

Went in with heavy bleeding and horrible cramps. He gave me a uterine ablation and refused to give me any pain meds. It is a surgery and no pain meds???!!! Then went back in after the procedure still complaining of horrible cramps. He told me it was all in my head! I feel so disrespected and like he won't even listen to me. I had scheduled an appointment at 3:00pm, only to wait an 1hr and 30min to be walked in the triage room. Only to notice they have no equipment to check how far along I am with an ultrasound machine, & dr will measure me with his fingers to check how far along I am and for the lady to say its too early to check for a heart beat anyways. ???? Terrible experience at this office....the doc COMPLETELY disregarded my issue with "it looks normal'...when i know my body better than ANY doctor...something that is painful is not normal. I came to the doc for an abnormality I noticed on my body...he looked for 2 seconds and said it looks normal didnt touch it or examine. I tried to elaborate on the issue and he literally disregarded what i said kept saying it looked normal. A painful bump on my body is NOT normal...doesnt take a dr. degree to know that. He doesn't really seem invested in helping people from a medical standpoint. Both of my grandfathers were doctors and I know first hand how a doctor treats a patient when he really cares.
