I can't say enough good about how professional, personable, dependable, and thorough he was. I really felt like I was in good hands. Ed went above and beyond to protect my home from damage and also did a very thorough clean up. He did a meticulous job. The job was started within days of my first contact and finished quickly. I am very grateful for AlasCo's professional crew and most specifically for Ed. I have had some horrible experiences with contractors in the past so it was wonderful to deal with a solid company. I am very satisfied with AlasCo and Ed from first contact to finished project. The total cost was so much lower than other quotes we got. For widow on a fixed income that was AWESOME! They will definitely be my go-to company if I should have need in the future. I have already referred them to some of my single gal friends!

There are gaps everywhere and the sales person didn't even have the integrity to come check it out and make it right. He said he was going to, but then didn't. They got their money and that's all they care about. I suggest using another company, but if you use them you should be onsite checking them as they go. As Alas-Co has stated in their response, I am not a professional insulation installer. They are correct, I'm not a professional, but I do know there shoudn't be uneven or missing spots, the spray foam shouldn't be separating from the walls and that they did not follow through on what I was told was going to be done. The project manager's "attempt" to make things better was to tell us over the phone that he was going to come inspect the project, but then he never actually came to inspect the project. As I stated at the beginning, one employee did do a very nice job and was very nice.

Alborn Construction knew NOTHING about weatherizing. Our home was like a wind tunnel of hot air escaping through these leaks. They did a great job saving us hundreds - yes hundreds of dollars on heating. That work was on the inside during a winter. This time we had them come back and do some outside work to tighten our old home up even more. Ryan had great ideas, he knows more than anyone else I have worked with in over 30 years of Anchorage home ownership. I'm a doctor and ever since our Alborn experience, I research everything. This company is exceptional. They are dependable, do good work and all for a reasonable price. When Ryan noted during our work that one area didn't need any further insulation, he took the cost right out without me asking. Hire them, you will be amazed how much warmer you home will feel and lower your bills will be.
