    I'm not sure if Yelping dentists is a thing, but this review has been a long time coming…read more I've been seeing Dr. Peter Carlin since I was a toddler. He's the only dentist I've ever seen and I plan on keeping it that way for the future. He's even out of my network for my dental insurance so you know I mean business when I pay that higher copay just to see him! What I love about Dr. Carlin and his staff is that they're always so welcoming and accommodating. They truly treat me like family! 2 years ago I had a freak running injury where I tripped and face-planted. I busted up my lips and two front teeth badly. That day he took me in immediately and did the most amazing job repairing my teeth. His staff gave me plenty of ice and even had milk and snacks on hand so I could take some Motrin for the immediate swelling. You can't even tell they're not my real teeth! 2 years later and I just had my 6 month dental cleaning. I mentioned that my two front teeth are doing well but there was minimal staining on them from the accident. Dr. Carlin is now going to do some more dental work to make them good as new .... to no extra charge to me. Beyond blessed to have such a wonderful and caring dentist! Highly recommend him if you're in the Chesterfield area! Heather and Rose are fantastic hygienists as well!

    Dr Schesnuk is the only dentist I've ever referred a friend or family member to. He does amazing…read morework and is very affordable. He tells you upfront what the costs will be. He will also do everything he can to try to save you some money by offering alternative treatment options. The office staff is great too. They truly do care about their patients. They will do everything they can to squeeze you in if an emergency situation comes up. He will be our family dentist as long as we are living in Michigan.

I went to Aspen once before and left unsatisfied but I'm desperate and thought I'd give them another chance. The whole franchise has predatory practices. When calling i told them I have a partial. I broke a tooth, I'm trying to schedule with them because I know they have the capability of fixing it in-house. I'm not coming in to be told I can get cool snap ins for the price of a car. I made the appointment for 2 and was called at 1 and was told I can start heading there now...kind of pushy I thought. I get there 145 sign in and wait until 215 when I ask if I can use they're restroom. I'm the only one in the waiting room. While I'm in the bathroom they call me in my phone. I didn't answer. When I came out I asked the receptionist if she called she said yes we wanted to know if you were coming in today. We didn't know you were here. .... the sign in sheet was right in front of her. My name clearly on it and the only one not crossed out. I go in the back get a ton of unnecessary xrays. I'm literally there for one thing. Now here is where they tell me I'm a new patient and need all this. I explained I'm not new, been there before and am not interested in a whole work up I'm in pain and my partial won't stay in. I need an emergency repair. While I will stress they were all nice and seemed happy to be there, they seemed very inexperienced. While holding the xray thing in my mouth the tech kept hitting it with the camera. Not once or twice but multiple times. Then they insist they can't do the repair I'm asking for that I need a denture now, not disputing that bit without going over cost or asking my opinion they move to doing impressions. I didn't object because I'm going to have to do something and if the cost isn't crazy at least I'll have this horrible step out of the way. The first tray is my bottom. ... I'm here for my top. She put so much stuff in it it was in my hair, all over my face and it didn't even turn out. The second attempt was just as bad. They bring in a new tech she did the bottom 2 tops and 2 bite wings. 7 times I had to go through that and if you know you know what I'm complaining about. Next and last phase.... cost. I go up front and sit down. The girl shows me 2 papers. One said $8,511 and the other $29,0000. I'm guessing one tradional and one snap in option. We discussed my insurance. I know my insurance and it covers the denture or at least part. I asked for a breakdown and was told that's all that prints out. It said NOTHING. I asked how much was the periodontal cleaning that they always suggest to everyone. She couldn't tell me and said she will need to put in a ticket and I'll need to come back Monday. I said I can call and was told she rather I come in at 8 am. So essentially, I wasted my entire Friday going there yet again. To use up all of my x. Rays and whatever else they're going to charge my insurance, I still don't have a repair. I still don't have a price list or an idea of what I'm gonna do moving forward. Even if I decide to spend $29000 I'm not confident at all that they are professional or skilled enough to do the job. Gave me nothing for pain or antibiotic to avoid any possible infection. Only out for your money and to bill your insurance whatever they can. *update.. called today to ask for breakdown and was told they do not offer a breakdown of services they will only show computer screen. Not they won't schedule an appointment for work until you accept the fees.... but they can't tell you what they're for. I'm contacting my insurance and letting them know how their in-network dentist operates.

She had the audacity, while my son started panicking, to rudely instruct me to "hold him and his hands down" while he was gagging and about to vomit, so she could squirt water in his mouth. Instead of just letting him sit up and catch his breath this is what they expect parents to put up with. We immediately ended the visit. I will never put my kids through that kind of treatment again. They are changing appointments and canceling without notice, scheduling appointments on non-working days, and then not notifying me. I have had to make both morning and afternoon appointments due to my child's age. I made an appointment, but they canceled it because it was not exactly six months and one day, and said insurance would not cover, but my insurance company covers two appointments per calendar year. I made an appointment in Richmond in August of 2024 for March of 2025, and three weeks before, they called to say it was canceled because it was during their lunch break. The earliest they could get us in was at the end of June. Communication and service have declined since coming to Chesterfield.

Lakeshore Oral Surgery in Chesterfield, Mi I just called the billing department over there to ask about this bill. To explain that I have been receiving these invoices with amount due being $0.00 until this week when I got an invoice for $795.00. Threatening collections. I swear I was nice and attempting to explain my confusion, and that I have the voicemail from Jan. 31, 2024 from LOS confirming my insurance determination to pay for my tooth attraction...WELL I was met with the most nasty, rude lady ever!! She said they have spoken to me several times and that I was rude and hung up on them. I told her there was NO way that was me! I have not spoken to them since the day I left their office. She says, and loudly, "She see's it in her notes right here that they have talked to me and that I hung up on them". So I ask her for the phone number they called, which she says "We have the right number!" She tells me that I was not insured at the time of the extraction, which I tell her that is impossible! I have never been without coverage! I had just used my insurance two days prior to the surgery, can she please read me the numbers she has for my insurance..again I am met with attitude and rudeness! Now I am just dumbfounded!! I mean why is this lady being so damn nasty to me?? I am not being rude or loud, I am trying to understand what the hell is happening. I mean they must have something wrote down wrong, flipped a number some where. I am just trying to help them fix whatever is wrong. She then tells me I will have to speak to her office manager, to which I agree. She then tells me she (the office manager) will have to call me back, she is out of the office today. Of course I want to check and make sure she has my correct phone number on file, after all i was just told they have talked to me several times and I hung up on them (all of which is not true, NOT ME)...and I swear on a stack on bibles this woman starts yelling at me that she has the correct number, me, "Can you please read it to me so I can verify?" Her, "I have caller id, we have to correct number" She says this loud and so super snarky. I have her on speaker phone, my son, who was across the room calls her a Bitch, she hears it and starts in with that...I ask for her name, she will not give it to me. She is still rambling on about being called a Bitch from my kid, not even me. I ask again for her name and she hung up on me. So I am left sitting here wondering what the hell just happened??? All I was trying to do was verify they had the correct numbers, that there has been a billing mix up on their end and help try to fix it..and I was met with the meanest, rudest person I have yet to encounter in my 57 years!!
