Neighboring city owned courses are offering better value/conditions. 27 holes but no practice area outside of a small putting green. Tee boxes: inconsistent. Tons of divots, and many of the boxes are over crowned. Fairways: no known issues, pretty good shape. Bunkers- unplayable. Loose rocks mixed in with thin layer of sand. Drainage lines poke through the surface in several of the bunkers. Greens- mostly average condition, but are kept long. A lot of overgrowth areas on the West and South course. This is specifically for the driving range, as a non-golfer. Not sure if this is how they all work,…read morebut I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to go practice! My husband took me, as someone who has never played golf before in my life, to hit balls. We didn't need to prebook anything, just showed up, walked over to the driving range, used the self-serve machine to get a couple buckets of balls, walked over to an open spot, and that was that! It was a pretty crowded day (based on how many cars were in the parking lot), but the driving range wasn't crowded at all, so I'm guessing it usually isn't full. Easy to park in a large lot, there's food and drink on site in the clubhouse if you want it, and conveniently located just outside of town on the SW side of Ann Arbor. I'll be back!

The tee boxes that are longer than most courses roughs??? The massive divots all over the fairway?? And last but DEFINITELY NOT LEAST, the greens that BOUNCE, not roll!!!!! These are the worst greens I've ever played! Not to mention the random dirt patches on half the greens! So if you are looking to golf and Dearborn Hills is the only tee time available, DONT GOLF!! TERRIBLE COURSE CONDITIONS! Oh yea and they installed a new restaurant to make it "prestigious", which raised golf rates by $10. They're charging $26 for 9 holes for a mainly par 3 course. I'd rather give away $26 to a random person than play this course! JUST TERRIBLE, A JOKE OF A COURSE!
