I was looking at buying a BMW and found a used one from these guys which was within my budget. I…read morewent to have a look at the car, and the car was exactly as described, in very good condition, mechanically sound, and pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Went to give it a test drive, and the battery was flat, which is fair enough, it may have been standing for a little while. The guys managed to jump start it using another guy, and so we went for a test drive. Only a short drive, but I was overjoyed by the car and definitely looking into buying it, so we started discussing the price back at the dealers. We settled on a price which I was happy with, and agreed a date to pickup, and the guys agreed to put a years worth of tax on it for me for when I collected. All I asked from the dealers is that they charged the battery for me so that it was ready for collection. Payment was very simple, deposit was paid by card and the rest was done via bank transfer. A few days later, I went to pick it up as agreed. Car had been given a good clean, and I drove it outside the garage to set up my 7 days free insurance. Went to drive away only to find the battery was flat, a little frustrating as I had asked them to charge it for me. Tried to jump start it, but the car went into a "lockdown mode" with the immobiliser because it thought it was being stolen, and had to go to BMW to reset it. The guys agreed to drop it off for me in 2 days time once it had been sorted, and I requested that a new battery was fitted under warranty. Car was dropped off without a new battery, but within the time promised. I have now bought a new battery out of my own pocket for the car, and have since had no problems. My next issue was the log book. Several months have passed, and I have still not received my log book nor my documents for my warranty. I have called the dealers countless times, and received the same response "They must be bust this time of year, ring back next week". They also promised to ring me back to chase it, but did not do so. Overall, this business shows promise. The guys there are friendly and a few of them are knowledgable. They just seem to be lacking in terms of customer focus and after care. If you make promises, keep those promises. If something goes wrong, admit that you messed up and provide me with a plan on how you'll set it right. It's pretty simple to sell something, but customer service is key to expanding a business, because it builds trust. I hope the guys read this and learn from it.
