I was in a horrible car accident in 2002 and have had to deal with many medical professionals. Dr. Anibal Drelichman MD a Hematologist/Oncologist and his wife and team member, Dr. Vilma Drelichman, MD Infectious disease/Travel clinic are two of the most kind hearted and caring Physicians (along with my GP, Dr. Peter Bullach who I also wrote a great review about earlier) that I have had the pleasure to come across! No one likes to go to the Dr's of coursel But if you get sick and you find yourself looking for one of these kinds of Dr's above, please don't hesitate to call them. They are extremely knowledgable and helpful with a great bedside manner and caring, helpful attitudes. They checked things out and found out certain things that other Dr's have missed. I am so glad to have found them because it's very hard to find a good and kind specialist these days; believe me; I have had to see more than my fair share of them since that car acccident. Dr. Drelichman even went so far as to give my husband his cell phone number for a certain occasion, knowing that we would never abuse thta privilage and that we would toss out that number right after the time that we had to use it. One time I called their office to ask if they had a son who was another medical professional and the office employee told me "yes" and gave me their son's phone number. I called that number and their son's employee actually paged him while I was on "hold" and asked him some questions and came back to the phone and gave me the information that I needed! I was astounded that in this day and age, that people would do something so kind and helpful. It was a caring act made by a caring employee and a very caring physician who is in a whole famiy that seems to be of caring physicians who also have hired great employees! Thank you again to Both of the Dr' Drelichman's for helping me and for continuing to help me as things come up! If you have a blood problem or Cancer or are travelling to a 3rd world country and need innoculations; or if you have an infectious disease...please go and visit this Dr's office and these great Dr's!

I don't understand these other reviews. I think some people have some pretty high expectations (in…read morethe wrong areas for a doctor's office). This isn't a flashy office, this is an office for working folks. Its affordable and the doctors are knowledgeable. I have been going to Northwood Physicians for many years and have never been dissatisfied with either the staff or the doctors. When I had pneumonia in high school, I went to two other doctors' offices and an emergency care facility on Dequindre Road and was misdiagnosed by all of them. It wasn't until my parents took me to Northwood that I was properly diagnosed with pneumonia and given the proper antibiotics to recover. Dr. Pawlowski listens and takes your narrative to heart. And the staff are always friendly to me. Of course every office overbooks patients, because they need to meet a certain profit quota each day to stay in business. But that's just the reality of living with a FOR-PROFIT healthcare system. I've never had a problem here and I feel like the staff really do care. ----------- One tip I would recommend for anyone seeing any doctor is to take the time to explain your condition. If the doctor tries to cut you off, keep going, the more they know, the more accurate of a diagnosis you will receive. Another tip, don't look for a doctor on Yelp people. This is your health! Take some time and do some real research. Half the people on yelp have a very different opinion from me on what constitutes a good experience with a business so why would I trust them on medical care?

Ohhhh.....where to start…read more I know Yelp isn't the first place people go for physician referrals but I am so unhappy with this office I just had to write something. If I can prevent at least one person from going here I'll feel like I have done some good. First I would like to say that Dr. Pawlowski is very good. I have never had a problem with him. He always took the time to listen to me talk about my problems and he always explained the diagnosis and treatment very well. However.......my biggest problem with the office was the staff. My last two visits totaled about 5 hours. The most complicated things that happened during these visits were blood draws and X-rays. One time the "nurse" couldn't find a vein (I don't have chubby arms. A vein shouldn't be hard to find) and another the X-ray "tech" had to take some X-rays over because he forgot to put slides in the machine. During my 3 hour visit I also got to watch someone's pre-teen child help mommy try to find someones lost records. I don't know if they were ever found and no it wasn't bring you daughter to work day. Not confidence builders. Since trying to switch doctors having my records copied and sent to my new doctor has taken so long I had to finally go pick them up myself. Even though I filled out the paperwork almost three weeks before my appointment they couldn't find the time to copy and send them. It took them one week to process the request and another to send me a letter requesting a $20 co-pay to copy the records. They did however manage to send copies of my blood work to another doctor when asked to send over everything BACK related. I never felt like my time was respected. There was always a sort of "We'll get to it when we get to it." attitude in the office and the stacks and stacks of records behind and around the desk just look bad. If my Vet's office was run like this office I would never go back. I don't know why I put up with it for over 3 years. With unemployment so high I don't know why more competent people or just more people can't be hired to run this place right. Dr. Pawlowski is doing his patients a disservice by allowing this to continue. I feel better now after venting since I wasn't able to fully complain to the "lady" who runs the office because she hung up on me.

The positives are that the staff working here are nice people, but my Mum is a nice lady but she'd make a rubbish NFL quarterback is the analogy I'd use. Absolutely nothing but incompetence from this place from the day we registered. They ask you to come in and register, so you spend an hour doing it, then the first time you try to book an appointment they've lost all your records and you have to register again. If they can't take care of your personal records that tells a big story straight away. They also need a new clock, as they can't stick to the alloted appointment times. I accept some delay is normal, but when you're sometimes waiting over an hour for your appointment then clearly it's an organisation issue. Medications are often confirmed as ordered, but then after going to the pharmacy multiple times they're not ordered. Again, reflecting the level of care, attention, and competency. One day I was in the surgery and staff were talking outside the door about things my wife had allegedly said/done, do they think I'm deaf? The people here are so incompetent I really wouldn't trust them to organise and collect my weekly groceries, never mind trust them to manage anything more complex. Do yourself, and your health, a favour and find somewhere / anywhere else but this place. They had the audacity to write to me terminating the patient relationship, due to some negative feedback I'd given, well perhaps they should try being more organised, competent and caring, and maybe people wouldn't need to give feedback. Nice humans, terrible as a health centre.

The key things to know is- Seeing the doctor literally takes forever every single time. I switched to a different doctor thinking that it would be less of a wait and easier to get in, but nope. So I asked to switch back to my original doctor because at least she responds on mychart... and when I called, apparently the doctor told the receptionist that she will "see me today, but she will think about if she will see me again going forward after my appointment today." Like who says that? How entitled are you? You are going to think about if you will see a patient again? How about keeping that to yourself and then waiting for the appointment to address the client and say why did you switch in the first place? When she told me that I said, never mind, I absolutely will not be coming back to that practice. Why would I want to see a Doctor Who says that? I was literally coming to change my antidepressant medication. Luckily I am stable but to anyone else that could have sent them spiraling. It's so hard to find a good doctor in general. And then having to go to several appointments to find one you like is so frustrating. So it makes people want to continue seeing the same doctor and just dealing with it. So I am hoping with my post, you read this, you just don't waste your time going here like I did. Also, it is not even remotely a clean establishment. Also- my husband had terrible experiences too. He has waited an entire hour to see the doctor. He was on his lunch break!! Seeing a doctor is never a quick thing but waiting an entire hour? Come on.

It is, quite literally, the kind of place I have been looking for my whole life. Upon arrival, I was received pleasantly by the ladies in reception. My wait was short, and then Scott, who was just the most lovely human, triaged me and escorted me into a room where just moments later, my P.A. Lee came in and began talking to me about why I was there. I got introductions. I got time to explain my concerns and ask questions. I was listened to, and all my thoughts were validated and responded to. I felt like Lee and I were BOTH advocating for my wellness, as a team! My experiences at other doctor's offices in the past had always left me feeling rushed, unheard, and "quick fixed", which usually resulted in a prescription or two -- in and out -- despite my genuine desire to actually take an active role in my own wellness, including diet, exercise, supplements, hydration, etc. Not at Be Well! Here, Lee spent time with me, learned a little about who I am and how I view my wellness and my treatment, and worked with me inside those parameters. He was intelligent, laid back, easy to talk to, and professional. I felt this was the norm at this office and I feel reasonably sure that would be the case with any P.A. or doctor that works here. Lee approached the situation methodically, and we created a plan for testing and treatment. I left the room feeling confident that I was in good hands and that the plan would yield helpful information, as well as potential solutions. Check-out was as quick and easy as check-in was, and on my way out, I heard a voice call out to me, "Wait, don't leave yet! I turned to find Dr. Benson following me and offering a red carnation. "Happy Valentine's Day!" he said. Completely brightened my day and made me feel like more than just a patient. I cannot recommend Be Well Medical Center enough. I am so glad my cousin referred me. I am grateful to be under the care of people who actually care.

Crazy what happens when a Dr actually listens to what the patient says the first time. The only follow up I have received from the office was a long letter from Dr Bornstein, condescedingly defending himself on all accounts, and once again gaslighting me to think I'm wrong. He ended the letter asking me to "take down my review". Then today, I got a giant bill, for charges dating back to January of 2025. Claiming my insurance didn't pay for me to have a covid or influenza swab. Charging me $75 DOLLARS just to "handle a covid specimen". I'll take it up with Cigna, since I'm certain these charges are incorrectly billed. But I will say, a billing person from the Be Well office called me a while back claiming they "didn't have record of my insurance at that time" and they only had my new one on file, wondering if I could send them the info. Even though they've billed the one they claim to not have, for other various visits. This is the first bill I've gotten from them in I can't even tell you how long. So clearly, this was dug out of their backlogged archives and compiled because they don't like my review. Bottom line, this place is an absolute mess. Spare yourself and find a doctor's office that you can trust to pay attention to your symptoms, not lose your information, and own it when they do something wrong and someone calls them out on it.
