Just left this restaurant with my wife an her Aunt. Lets start with the financials. It was 30 euro…read moreper person, I found this reasonable for Brazilian rodizio. Water was 2 euro, acceptable for tap water in rome I suppose. But they asked if we would like the roasted pineapple, we said yes as it is very common with this type of meal, and that came to 10 euro additional which I was shocked at. I'm wondering if that's a 10 euro penalty for being a tourist. I handed them a 20 euro bill at the counter and he said thank you, pretty presumptuous, I asked for change. Supposedly they only have 10 euro, so I would have to leave 10 euro tip to get change. I left 7 in coin.
The sausage was dry. They had chicken, ham, Turkey bacon, and beef 3 or 4 different ways which were all delicious. They only had 8 types of meat. The place was dead as we were the only people there for most of our meal until one other couple came in. They said it's because it's Sunday in the summer. This only bothers me because of the buffet with salads and mayo and such...unless we are to believe they throw it all out at the end of the night.
If I could do it all over again I would take that money and go get some fancy seafood. Not fried calamari before your pasta. I mean go get a lobster and some prawns or somethings awesome for the same money.
