My filling fell out while changing my son's diaper. I also told them that the fillings they did were rough and cutting my tongue and they said it would go away instead of fixing it. A week later I could still barely eat and my tongue had cuts that were bleeding. They seemed very bothered when I asked for them to fix it. And this had to be done twice. My husband had two different fillings fallout out(actually one was a crown only a few months old). This last one (the crown) was while eating potatoes! And when we tried to get it fixed they said the soonest they could do it was in two weeks. He works downtown everyday and gets back after they close so instead of fitting him in as a priority it's wait two weeks. They know we told them we were no longer going to be patients due to the sub par work being done so I don't feel any sense of urgency to fix their mistakes. Also be aware that they send you text messages of "appointment reminders" asking you to confirm when you in fact have no appointment. Ironically at the beginning of the year.

His staff are gentle and courteous and he is friendly and down-to-earth. When I moved to Boston I tried three other dentists and was disappointed every time. They cost too much, hurt my teeth and gums during routine cleanings, or once even tried to convince me I needed a root canal when I was totally asymptomatic. Having had healthy teeth my whole life, I called Dr. Mach's office back home in Woodridge for advice. He offered a second opinion basically free of charge, looked at my x-rays, even examined the tooth in question, and told me I didn't need the procedure. He then gave me the name of one of his colleagues from dental school who was practicing in Cambridge. This guy ended up being great too, so it just reinforced my trust in Dr. Mach.
