They are truly a caring house. My dad was here during his final days and they took great care of him and everyone that came and visited him.

The agreement, scope, and pricing were clearly discussed and approved in advance. Unfortunately, before final payment was completed, the Director who hired me was let go. Since then, new management has refused to honor the original agreement in full. Despite providing documentation, proof of approval, and fulfillment of the work exactly as requested, I was only partially paid and am still owed $1,400. It's disappointing to complete a high-level, time-intensive project in good faith--especially for a major event--and then have a company refuse to take responsibility for the commitments made by their own leadership. This isn't just about payment--it's about integrity. Vendors should be able to trust that businesses will honor their agreements, regardless of internal staffing changes. I would strongly caution other artists and vendors to ensure full payment upfront before working with this organization.

This stuff you can see for yourself if you visit but I wanted to comment on the staff. All the staff at Cogir have been geniunely fantastic but I wanted to give a mention to Priscila Sellers. My mom was just starting the process of moving in and we hadn't even signed the paperwork, when she ended up falling and going to the hospital. Due to the situation, she was released directly to Cogir. Priscila was really a rockstar, everything was taken care of. She busted her butt to get movers the next day, elevated care taking that night, and even arranged for my mom to stay in a guest suite while we worked on moving her stuff. I'm sure she was doing other stuff I'm not even aware of. She is really hard working and very good at her job. Thank you to everyone at Cogir! I feel my mom is in good hands.

Due to declining health of a relative, I have had more interaction with the staff and found them to be responsive, caring, empathetic, friendly. Sometimes the cleaning staff does unwittingly throw away esoteric, specialty food given by friends & relatives to my resident relative since the staff is not sure of its shelf lIfe, but the complaint by my relative's earlier claims of missing personal items possibly by staff members now seem to be unsubstantiated. Overall, Spring presently is a desirable assisted living home. The residents are from middle class backgrounds so there is an air of civility and dignity. The facilities are clean with a comfortable "living room" for residents to gather for directed activities & occasional entertainment. My past review and others' reviews were not as complimentary, but under Linda Hiles and the amenable staff, I feel Spring would be good to look into for an assisted living situation. For pictures of Spring, refer to my previous review below.

I am…read morereposting after their manager flagged my review and it was taken down because per yelp my review was referring as a 3rd party per the manager complaint. Uhm, my relative, my aunt was in here for over a month or two. I came often to visit her. My aunt complained to me how bad it was and she was left neglected and how she was left in her bed with soiled bedsheets and no one cleaned her up for hours! No one flipped her, no one took her out for walks so she's not bed ridden 24/7. They left her tray of food, she was sleeping, when she woke up and finally wanted to eat, she realizes her food was collected when she hasn't even touched it. Everytime I go, I walk in and the facility reeks of urine. During my first time visiting I stood in front of the door 15 minutes trying to get someone to help me to find out what room my aunt was in. None of the staffs bothered to ask who I was and if I needed help, which also was a concern to me anyone can come in and leave as please with no questions asked. I finally walked around the facility looking in each room and finally found my aunt. Unfortunately my aunt was in and out of this facility between this facility and the hospital and was unresponsive the last time and died when ambulance was called and took her to the hospital. Do not bring your loved ones here if you love them! As many other reviews stated before reviews were flagged and taken down, patients are being neglected. The staffs are rude, and seems like no one cares for the patients. At one point I got a message from someone that works for the county that were investigating this facility. She asked me information but I dod not reply to the email because not sure if it's real or not and didn't want all the headaches. This was a few many years ago, I'm not sure other than now they have a new manager that all of a sudden cares about their reputation a bit more if problems and staffs are better, I hope it is for the benefits of the patients but from reading the few recent years reviews from others it doesn't look that way.

I talked with many friends, neighbors, and Alzheimer's groups, and phoned many health-care services at their recommendations. Home Care Assistance is the only one that gave me good "vibes" over the phone. When Shane came to our house to go over their services, I immediately felt comfortable with him. I was very reluctant to leave my husband with "a stranger," but after meeting some of the HCA caregivers, I felt much more at ease. My husband had three of their caregivers altogether, and they were all lovely ladies. One day I was an hour late getting back home, and HCA's owner, Michelle, covered for the caregiver, who had to leave. I apologized profusely for being late, and Michelle couldn't have been more gracious in assuring me that it had not been a problem. The most recent caregiver was a nursing student, which was very helpful since my husband had also developed some non-Alzheimer's health issues and was on hospice care. The hospice nurses said they'd train the caregivers in whatever procedures my husband might need (such as turning him or helping him to the bathroom). HCA said that they had much experience working with the hospice firms in the area, and that they'd be ready and able to work hand-in-hand with medical professionals. HCA is at the high end of per-hour cost, but for me the few extra dollars were very, very worth it. To be able to leave my husband with someone I could trust to do the right thing was a supreme stress-reliever.

At first, I didn't want to do the Adult Day Program and the Social Program because of a past unpleasant experience. However, with encouragement and support, I gave it a shot--and I'm so glad I did. One of the highlights was attending camp in August 2024, which was my first time being away from my mom. It was a huge step toward independence for me. Through TDS, I am finally learning how to get my driver's license after a decade of trying. Unlike Social Vocational Services (SVS), which doesn't offer many life-skill services like driving, ICAN truly provides the tools for real independence. During the at-home portion of the independent living program, Sherri told me that I should use Access to get around, but for me, that wasn't enough. If I want to break into the entertainment industry, learning to drive is essential, and I genuinely believe ICAN is the program that will help me achieve that dream. If you're looking for a program that supports your goals and independence, ICAN is the way to go!
