Her gown was exact. His tux was a duplicate. Their faces, exaggerated yet oh so flattering. I reached out to do an anniversary cartoon telling the story of how my girlfriend and I got together and sent him a short paragraph with the details and some photos. Jon storyboarded it and right out of the gate it was funny and he got so many details (even stuff in the background) right. Once the final pencil was approved he colored it in with beautiful watercolors and it really took the cartoon to the next level. The process was very fast and took about two weeks from sending him stuff to getting the final piece, which I picked up in person. Send Jon an idea along with a couple photos. I'd recommend more than 1 so he can get the best sense of what everyone looks like. He'll make a few quick sketches of his design ideas and let you pick which one you like most. Then, he'll send multiple drafts along the way to make sure you're happy with how its coming out. When the final pencil is approved, he'll color it in and arrange to pick it up. He completed mine in about a week and a half but I got the sense he could do much faster if I needed it. And the price is determined by how many panels and how much detail you want. So if you're on a budget, Jon can still make you something cool. I'd highly recommend this as a gift! After paying him the agreed upon amount, he refused to give us our files - as well as kept our money. Even after our manager offered him another $100 just to placate this arrogant fool, he refused. In the hundreds of places I've recorded, I've never met an engineer/studio owner who withheld a bands' masters after being paid, for no reason other than he didn't like the agreement he voluntarily entered into. We are now without the money and the masters and will now be forced to take legal action. It's our bad as well, as we trusted him to honor what was agreed upon, sans contract. Live and learn. Venmo will also be sanctioning him, as we presented his emails admitting to the agreement and his subsequent refusal to provide what is legally ours. Run - do not walk. Never use this guy. Total dishonorable fraudster.

Do NOT book this DJ for your wedding. Our wedding reception--one of the most important days of our…read morelives--was completely RUINED due to Vito and especially Giuseppe's UNPROFESSIONALISM and DISMISSIVE behavior. They clearly LACK OF SKILL and EXPERIENCE required to host a mixed-culture wedding or any event that requires crowd awareness and musical versatility. Despite providing a detailed playlist, only a small handful of our requested songs were actually played, and many tracks were thrown in at RANDOM with NO regard for the flow of the evening. Their music library was extremely BASIC, with NO remixes or creative transitions. Music transitions were POORLY executed throughout the night. For example, during the robot performance, the DJ abruptly cut from "Technologic" straight into a Nicki Minaj & Beyoncé track and Usher--none of which were remixes or remotely suitable for the moment. This completely DISRUPTIVE the performance we had planned. Overall, the music selection felt random, OUT OF PLACE, and DISCONNECTED from the crowd's energy. On top of that, there was a lack of transparency regarding payments. DJ Vito failed to acknowledge additional funds we had sent, which led to Giuseppe making incorrect and misleading claims. When we expressed our concerns, Giuseppe responded with multiple exclamation marks, displaying further UNPROFESSIONALISM and a CONFRONTATIONAL attitude. Working with Vito and Giuseppe was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience, and it cast a negative shadow over what should have been a joyful celebration. I cannot recommend their services based on what we went through.
