He does not take feedback well.. so here it goes…read more DO NOT BOOK WITH DALE! He TAKES 15 minutes to draw one person. He does not entertain or make the experience enjoyable. My guest complained all night, I was embarrassed. He needs to update his interaction to appease all race, ethnicity, age, and religion. He is not good for large events. If you're looking for a fast, fun, exciting, authentic caricaturist.. better off hiring someone else, or do it yourself! If he takes a million years to draw on a iPad, he must take a billion years on paper! Thank you.

I'm writing this now because I happen to be looking at a drawing that Dale did of my late mother…read moreback in 1993 when I hired him to "work the room" at my mother's 70th birthday party in Brooklyn. There were about 50 attendees and he was given free rein to draw anyone he could persuade to sit. Dale did a terrific job, and I'm reminded of that now as I see how he captured something of my mother that immediately brings her to life for me. I can't answer for others, obviously, but based on my personal experience I would recommend Dale any day of the week.
