Some desserts in Caribou Coffee shop

So nice bakery and good Frech Roast coffee. I suggest anybody to try coffee. Workers are so friendly.

No kombucha when we were there. Muffin wasn't the best. Didn't try anything else.

Really good coffee for such a small outpost, nice selection of deserts as well. Nicely done team, keep up the great offerings.

Stopped in for a coffee and a blueberry muffin. Both were great. Neat little place in the middle of the Yukon

Review Highlights - Caribou Crossing Coffee

I ordered a London Fog that I randomly think back to, maybe because I love lavender and lavender season is coming up.

More like 3.5 stars. Lovely back patio, great selection of baked goods (including some vegan and…read moregluten conscious options). The breads are lovely but not cheap. As not a fan of $0.75 extra for oat or soy milk in lattes. Therefore I didn't try any lattes or 'milk' based drinks. They tried to serve us the pesto cheese bread bun and tofu pizza cold and we had to ask to have it heated up. Service is friendly but a bit slow. We came at 10am on a Saturday but I wouldn't be surprised if this place has bigger lines/and a wait as it gets busier.

Everything is freshly baked in brick oven so imagine the freshness and taste. For sure its not regular grocery store so prices are little on higher end. Not too too expensive though. I tried pumpkin spice latte which is very creamy and flavourful , a person next to my table was raving all about the yellow spice turmeric latte. Apple strudel i had just melted in my mouth and i am guessing that their all time famous is onion, rosemary, walnut bun as not only me but almost every other person bought it. They also have customized chocolates with engraving of thank you and happy birthday. Staff is very pleasing and helpful. You can use wifi and sit inside or outside on their patio which is like litle garden with benches to sit and eat. Clean bathroom. Baskets and dairy to purchase too. Homemade yogurt, dips and spreads can be purchased from here.

This is the upgraded space for the original Riverside Grocery across the street. The first and…read moresecond floor look like a boutique grocery store catered towards plant based food options. I would say the prices are higher than average. The store itself is very bright and pretty. The top floor has a cafe with soups, sandwiches, baked goods, coffee, and the like. The sweet potato loaf $11 is delicious. The citrus salad is a generous portion. Can't remember how much it was, but around $18-19. We also had the chickpea daal, lime curd cookie $4, and a latte. They carry sourdough from Landed which are excellent $11.50. I would say their sweet treats are where they excel, and the savory foods are more okay but still good options. Something to watch out for is to ask about ingredients carefully. We spent at least 20 minutes asking about ingredients as the employees did not know, and was still ultimately served something my friend was allergic to. There are some wrinkles to iron out but I'm certain in a few months to a year this place would be great. I would come back again at that time.

I asked the gentlemen if they had that and he said no, I asked him where I could find it in town. He barked rudely "how would I know." OK. The second time I also could not find cows milk (they had seven kinds of nut milk - I am allergic to nuts). This time I asked the woman, she looked at me and literally turned her back on me. Twice is enough.
