Great little spot in downtown Whitehorse for coffee, light lunch, and baked goods. Lots of light, lively atmosphere. I can tell that the owner has put a lot of care and attention into the look and feel of this cafe. Don't go to the Starbucks located a block away... just don't. Go to Baked! Tip: If you're just passing thru town, check out the shops located in the same 'mall' as Baked. Lots of quality, local goods including fine art, clothing, jewelry, souvenirs, and toys. I bought some amazing smelling soap made in the Yukon and drooled over some incredible art prints of local landscapes.

I had a americano to drink and a cranberry scone to eat, both were good. The atmosphere is alright, I'd go again.

A great vibe, friendly staff and widely varied and healthy menu. Sandwiches, muffins and the best ginger molasses cookie I've ever had. The prices are quite reasonable too given the premium on most items up north (cookie 1.75 and 1.50 for coffee). The coffee is serve yourself out of 4 large carafes with a variety of excellent stong coffees. They also do espresso, mocha, smoothies and such. Spacious inside with free wireless and bright, cheerful funky decor. I'd make this a hangout if I lived here! Seating is also available outside for those months when that's an option without freezing.

    Great selection of scones!

A great little bakery with smooth espresso, an impressive selection of scones, pull apart cinnamon rolls, and massive muffins. The best coffee I've had in Canada so far! Also has a nice selection of beans and pour over chemex/brewing accessories for sale.

Great place to get pastries or a light lunch, or just hang out and drink a cup of coffee or tea.

Great coffee and decent location on Main Street with the option to sit outdoors in the summer. The baked good that I've tried are good.

As not a fan of $0.75 extra for oat or soy milk in lattes. Therefore I didn't try any lattes or 'milk' based drinks. They tried to serve us the pesto cheese bread bun and tofu pizza cold and we had to ask to have it heated up. Service is friendly but a bit slow. We came at 10am on a Saturday but I wouldn't be surprised if this place has bigger lines/and a wait as it gets busier.

Apple strudel i had just melted in my mouth and i am guessing that their all time famous is onion, rosemary, walnut bun as not only me but almost every other person bought it. I would be heading out the the Canol Trail (MP 222) later that morning. Tim's now has a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches of which I enjoyed the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. I took a seat inside and enjoyed my breakfast by the window, while watching the drive through traffic go by. I do agree with a couple of my Canadian friends that the quality and taste of Tim Hortons coffee has seen better days. My coffee black choice brought back Iowa childhood memories of less than robust Folgers in the morning.

The counter folks were really fast.... and friendly. The place has a a lot of parking. That's good because they were jamming. We landed on an afternoon rush. Didn't matter. The kids were up to the challenge. The cool part for me was meeting Dave, or so he says. Dave eats at the Second Ave Tim's almost every day. A grey-haired dude in his late sixties, maybe seventy. He bought us a round as we were treated to his testimony. You see Dave is U.S. citizen living in the Yukon. He came here over fifty years ago...yep...to avoid the draft and potentially fighting in Vietnam. Dave just never went back home. He has no family there and is afraid of being arrested for draft evasion. I could have told him that President Carter offered pardons to all the evaders in 1977, somehow he seemed to enjoy being on the lamb, why ruin it? 08/22
