We were very pleased with everything - food service and ambiance. First Bearaboo is independently owned - it's not Starbucks - which is refreshing in many ways. The decor is homey. You order at the front, seat yourself and they bring your order to the table. Everyone on the staff seems happy and cheerful and you feel that your business is appreciated. The staff in many corporate establishments such as Starbucks etc appear to not care whether you are there or not. Food was good and I recommend the chicken salad sandwich on cranberry bread.

The lady that was working was super nice and helpful, I had a hot cup of decaf which she left room for cream and sugar! So that means she listened! We all had breakfast sandwiches and they were very tasty and made well! Service was good and fast and the place is VERY clean. My only complaint is in the back where the kid area is there are some steps leading down and no way to block it off so a toddler may well tumble down and that would be bad. But that being said as a parent you should be watching your kids! All in all we will be back!

Discovered this candy store on Facebook this past September. They were sponsors for a hot air…read moreballoon festival. A drive to Carlton was an easy up and back from the TC. And this candy store was an easy find off the freeway exit. I followed the lollipops along the east side of a gas station. It was hidden behind the gas station. Lining the drive to the parking lot were pretty, tall pine trees. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but walking up to the door were family-friendly activities. A photo booth and wooden tables to play games, like checkers and jenga. Inside is clean and organized aisles of bulk candy. We came to look but did leave with a couple bottles of root beer and cans of Northern Soda company pop. The cashier wasn't too amused that I work in the same city that is manufactured in. I had also just gotten back from a trip to Wyoming and Montana and was on a Huckleberry high. I did find some Huckleberry flavored things there as well.
