Was looking for somewhere to get 2 wisdom teeth taken out. The last time I did it (when I lived in…read moreBoston) was a terrible experience, so I asked around a lot for this one. Multiple people referred me to Dr. Albanese, and I'm very glad they did. The experience was as smooth and professional as you could possibly expect (hey, we're talking about wisdom teeth being taken out here, it's not something you do for fun...) and I'm really glad I went here. Dr. Albanese himself was very professional and answered all my questions (I had a lot, given my negative experience at the other place with my other tooth) ahead of the operation. Scheduling was easy and the offices are beautiful - my understanding is they are brand new and they certainly look like it. The procedure itself was super smooth, well coordinated and prepared, and much better than the last one I had done. Post-op, I had some pain, as you always do, and I called to ask about it. Dr. Albanese called me right back and gave me a different prescription that is so far getting the job done. Overall very happy with the experience. Dr. Albanese knows what he's doing, and has excellent patient communication. Highly recommend.

This was a few years back. I'm posting late because it has stayed with me…read more The hygienist was excellent. Careful, thorough, and genuinely pleasant. She did her job well. The dentist came in afterward for the new patient exam and spent it selling. It had come up in conversation that I was planning orthodontics and eventually implants, and that I already had my specialists chosen. That was the end of anything clinical. He used my appointment time trying to transfer that treatment to himself and his own network. His entire argument was that specialists are expensive, made while he rubbed his fingers together at me in the universal gesture for money. It was crass. I told him flatly that I could afford it, but he wouldn't stop pitching. That was it. Nothing about my teeth, my gums, my bone, or how any of it should be sequenced. Just that the people specifically trained to do this work charge more than he does, delivered with performed concern for my budget by the man who conveniently wanted the case. He never probed my periodontal pockets. I kept waiting for it through the whole appointment and it never came, and he never raised my periodontal status with me at all, even though it's the measurement that determines whether someone can support implants in the first place. Avoid this place if you dislike tacky sales pitches and incomplete dental exams.

Dr Franck was super excited to fulfill my dream of a beautiful smile. I started with Invisalign, being that I'm in my forties I just couldn't see myself in braces! He recommended Zoom to whiten my teeth, and the results were fantastic! I have a crown on my #9 tooth which is the top front tooth and very difficult to match to the #10 tooth but not for Dr Franck, he loves a challenge. I'm also doing veneers on either side of my two front teeth as well as a little bonding on my canines, that has been totally painless and so worth it. Thank you for my beautiful natural looking smile! I couldn't be happier!

My experience was top notch in the promptness of getting me into the chair at the time specified (no waiting around10-20-30 minutes like many Dr. offices). The front desk was very busy but spent enough time with me to make sure everything was in order insurance / paperwork wise AND did it with a smile . The extraction prep and process was smooth and efficient with the support cast very interactive and sensitive too the inherent nervousness associated with pre-surgery time. The preparation and extraction was done quickly with emphasis on patient comfort and pain tolerance. Every person in the room during this procedure was professional but friendly and focused on their job. A few days after the surgery there was still some discomfort so I call their office (on a Monday) and was quickly scheduled for Tues. AM. The issue was ID'd and corrected. No hassles no stress. I do not write reviews often (maybe 1 / year) and only when the experience is very positive or very negative. I am not a shill for this practice and don't know a single person personally. So..... you should feel comfortable selecting this practice and specifically Dr. Walker. Cameron M. 1/16/2024 Exton, PA

DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE DECIDED ON A SURGEON. I wish I would have read these reviews before…read morechoosing this practice for my daughter's impacted tooth. All of the things quoted by other patients, happened to me too. I could go into elaborate detail on my experience but to keep it brief, here's what happened to me: - Told me my insurance wouldn't cover the procedure cause "they rarely ever cover this type of procedure." FALSE, it was covered by my insurance. My daughter had an impacted tooth that needed to be removed. - Incorrectly quoted patient estimate based upon above statement. The practice tried collecting $1,600 from me on the day of surgery without clearly stating this expectation to me. A lot of their documentation danced around the requirement but never clearly stated their payment policy. - Their estimate included a standard tooth extraction (pulling a tooth) versus the impacted tooth. Let's call out they tried to charge full anesthesia charges for getting a tooth pulled and that didn't set off any red flags to anyone???? - Numerous unaddressed requests to speak with a Office Manager or the person responsible for the financial requests so I could understand the estimate supplied to me. - Forced to pay a specialist fee for a consultation that was covered by my insurance. They couldn't advise when my refund would be processed. Nor did they ever apply the balance to many estimates they shoved in front of my face. The surgery staff was very kind and took care of my daughter. They had very good bedside manner so nothing bad to say about the surgeon or nurses; however, the rest of the experience was pretty terrible. BUYER BEWARE! Know your rights as a patient and get educated on your benefits before walking into this place. I'm sure there's been so many people who just pay and never see the refund owed to them.

When Dr. Petrunich came in, he checked the tooth and quickly said that it looks as it hasn't fully grown out yet (not true as my referring dentist informed otherwise and I saw my xrays). I heard him whisper something to the dental assistant behind me. That made me feel very uncomfortable, made me wonder why he would whisper in the presence of a patient. He then began injecting numbing medicine. He gave me three injections (waited about a minute between each one. I had the feeling he was rushing as it was late in the afternoon) and numbing never happened. He eventually said he was going to tug on it a little to see if I would feel anything; it hurt as if metal was being pulled through my tooth. He then said that he is going to have to reschedule so they could put me to sleep. I have had several dental surgeries done in the past and never put to sleep or given anything to calm me. Ever since he pulled on my wisdom tooth, I have had random ear pain on that same side. I left Petrunich's office and scheduled an appointment with another dental surgeon I had seen in the past, even though he was now out of network. He immediately popped the wisdom tooth out within minutes. Never felt any pain or aches afterwards either.

After which she did not say anything to me for the rest of my wait. Had no idea my wife was finished until I noticed her outside. I waved said goodbye have a nice day to which I only received a cold look, which was easy to notice as she wasn't wearing a mask. After we left my wife said Dr. Ettinger was cold and rude today, as if once they got the money they were done caring about you. I normally wouldn't have noticed or really thought about any of this. Going about my day without thinking twice. But during our very long wait I started to notice the treatment the white couple behind us got from the receptionist. She was friendly and talkative with them, even walking them through options when their card was declined, never announcing their fee. While they were sitting and waiting for the doctor, trying to figure out payment she went out of her way to let the wife know she could stay there in the waiting room or in her car and she would come out to let her know they were finished. Which was the point I noticed the difference in the service we got. Don't know if it was racial or not as I'm Black and my wife Asian and from some of the other reviews I've seen it may not be. But either way if this is just the way they work I can understand why they haven't won an award in more than 10 years.

I wondered if it was to cover the screams of the patients. After 45 minutes of waiting, I was very overstimulated. The other 2 patients in the waiting room with me agreed. When I was finally escorted back, I asked the woman what was with the insanely loud music. She smiled and said, "We always play loud music." I waited in the chair for a few minutes, and heard the doctor down the hall laugh and say, "Well, I'll just turn it up, then!" He came into the room and asked how I was. I joked that I was a bit deaf from the music, but otherwise ok. I said that I had been expecting some relaxing spa type music. He said, "Well I've only had 3 patients complain about it in 5 years." I said, "Oh, well you must have some very kind patients who don't speak up about it." He said "It's a hippa thing." I gave him a skeptical look and said I'd been in many doctor's offices, all of which have hippa laws, and never heard loud music for privacy's sake. He said, "Don't blame me for your anxiety!" As another reviewer here said, VERY condescending. Medical conditions are not something a doctor should joke about, and even people who normally don't have anxiety are likely to experience it when faced with surgery. I said "I didn't have any anxiety until I sat through this jarring music for 45 minutes. Why are you such a D!*k?" I decided there was no way a man with this big of an ego and absolutely no willingness to hear other people's opinions was getting anywhere near me with a scalpel. I said "I think we're done here" and got up out of the chair. He started laughing to the women in the office across the hall. I said "Do you really think that's funny, or are you trying to save face with your employees?" He said "You can leave now." I assured him there was no way I would stay, and thanked the kind women in the office. The woman in the lobby said that her wife must be one of the only other three patients who complained about it in 5 years, so pretty doubtful that two of the three happened on the same day. I'm sure some people do love it, but those who don't should be able to express that and be heard, not talked down to and accused of a disorder. I don't care how good of a surgeon you are if you're not a decent person.
