It's understood that they get a good amount of traffic, but they have no care or efficiency as far as I've experienced. This place has horrible service and no one knows what is going on. People told me one thing on the phone and I gave all of my insurance information and their website, as well as aetna online, told me I had coverage. So I drive the 45 min in morning traffic to get there, while I have a 101 fever and an ear infection, and they then tell me "oh you have a special teacher insurance that we don't cover." So now I could have been in line at another place to get service. You can never be sure if your insurance will work at this place, even with human verification beforehand. read more

First let me start with the nurses and PA. They were absolutely wonderful. I feel bad only giving 1 star because they were caring, helpful and informative. The wait was long (2+ hours), even with web check-in, but to be expected during flu season. Dr. Keeble on the other hand is by far the worst doctor I have ever come in contact with. I have never in my life written a negative review but his attitude and obvious lack of caring about quality healthcare has driven me to write this. I originally came in on Saturday and was seen by the PA. She was so kind, talked through potential causes and provided different solutions for vertigo. After 24/48 hours asked for me to come back to see if it improved with new medications since I had previously had a sinus infection. If not, would recommend PT to manage the vertigo. Unfortunately I didn't get to see her and Dr Keeble walked in. He clearly didn't read my chart about the medications that were given to me just 2 days before. He basically said he sees this all the time and to hang in there. I said I travel often asked if there any limitations. He said well as long as you aren't flying the plane you're fine. I can't even walk straight and have fallen from just walking. He didn't even exam me. He just sat down and said the above. It was a waste of my time and money. Now going to my regular doctor to discuss options to treat. I prefer not to "just hang in there" and want to actively work towards dealing with vertigo. Note this is the second time I have seen him. The first time was a misdiagnosis for a blot clot and the same flippant attitude. I highly recommend asking for another doctor/PA when coming to this Care Now. read more

One word: allergies. They have been beyond awful this season. My first visit was in August. I used the online check-in service and that's a must! They called me within minutes to confirm they received my information. Then they called when they were about 10-15 min from seeing me. I arrived, did the little bit of paper work and was taken to a room pretty quickly. I was able to get quick allergy relief and was out of there within 30-45 mins. Then I got it again, those dang allergies! So 10 days later, I had to go back. Again, did the online check-in, and same thing as above. Then another 12 days passed, had to go back again for my eyes being red. Of course, allergies. This time wasn't as smooth as the first two visits but they were super nice still even with a lobby full of sick impatient people. I saw Dr. Keeble and he is definitely there to serve. Fast attentive care. Quick and efficient with the insurance paperwork. Friendly Doctor and very good nurse. She was excellent with administration of the tetanus shot that is usually quite painful. Been coming here for a work comp injury over a dozen times since October and not ONCE have I been seen within a 2 hour period for a 5 minute follow up and new worksheet from a busted back. Yes, busted back and they still make you sit there for hours. Their excuse is ALWAYS that they only have 1 doctor on duty....Well then get ANOTHER one on duty. It doesn't matter what day or time of the week it is it is always the same!!!! Unfortunately I am bound to this place due to work comp but if you don't HAVE to come here.... choose somewhere else and save yourself more pain and misery!! Used the web now check in and was quoted 45 minutes. After 2 hours it was my turn to get a room to see the doctor. Previous visit got all my insurance and name wrong so the insurance company would not pay. When I tried telling them it was wrong they told me they already called and that I can sit and wait to be seen further if I didn't like what was said . I Called again around 10 AM and was told they are still Trying to "catch up.". they finally called around noon and said it would be around two hours. Then they called around 330 and told us to come in. We got there in 10 minutes. At 4:05 PM we were still not called into see the doctor. I recommend going to any other care now facility. They obviously cannot manage this one in any way shape or form.The office personnel at this facility are completely incompetent. please avoid at all cost. also this is the only care now that collects your payment prior to seeing the doctor. I've been a healthcare professional for almost 30 years, and the staff at this location have horrible attitudes and absolutely do not care about the patient. Even though we have utilized web check-in, the wait times are very long, 2-3 hours even after they call you to come in. The front desk staff are very un-friendly, never making eye contact with you when you check in. The nursing/medical staff are not friendly either, and act very indifferent. It's a shame that healthcare has become such a pit of service. My father was a physician in DFW for more than 30 years, and he would have been appalled by the way we have been treated, and many other patients who I observed in this facility No more days of medical professionals who care about the patient. I am giving this review based on my latest visit. I just needed to see a doctor for medicine for a sinus infection. I knew it was a sinus infection and I knew what I needed. The web check in is the best! They open at 8:00 on Saturday and I did the web check in early that morning. Someone called about 20 to 8:00 and told me to be there at 8:00. I was there. Filled out some paperwork and waited int he lobby for about 5 minutes before being called back. Had all my vitals taken and waited only about 5 minutes for the doctor. She looked me over and gave me the medicine I needed. I did not have to beg for the "good" cough medicine or a steroid. Check out was a breeze. I was in and out in 33 minutes! That is a personal best! If you need to go, go first thing in the morning and do the web check in. read more

CareNow is supposed to suck. You're supposed to feel more sick when you leave, the doctor is supposed to be sub par and you are supposed to think, "the ER at Parkland would have been a better idea." Basically the only reason you would go to CareNow is if you are deathly ill after your regular doctor is open and you don't want to deal with an ER. Long story short, yesterday I wasn't feeling well. Sneezing, runny nose, aches in my neck like I slept wrong (but I hadn't), head ache, exhausted, etc. The typical crap that floats around this time of year. Knowing I had a big day today, I decided to web check in and give CareNow a shot just to get something to get me through today. I am sure glad I did. Everything about the experience was awesome. The location was new and clean. The front desk girls were helpful and welcoming. The nurse who saw me first was fun to talk to, listened to everything that was wrong, and the doctor was the bomb. He was a jovial little fellow that seemed to love being a doctor at 9:30 pm on a Thursday night seeing patients. He even walked me through my blood work explaining what he thought I might have, but didn't, walking me through all the fancy numbers and such. I know they get paid per patient and were due to close, but he seemed to not care about any of that. He gave the impression that I was the only patient, even though I only had/have a sinus infection when people are walking into his office about to keel over with Bacon Flu. Sure, my insurance doesn't like me going there and charges me $50 to do so, but the doc prescribed me two medications that were a grand total of $14 (with insurance). Epic. And 18 hours later I feel a lot better and know that I am going to be fine. Other CareNow locations, you guys need to step up your game. Bedford-Euless got you beat. read more

I'm SO disappointed......that I didn't visit them sooner. First thing that I loved was checking in online. I got to brew a pot of coffee, have my breakfast and wait my turn. When they called me to come in, I showed up within 10 minutes and had to wait about 10 minutes for the appointment. I was not upset, because right behind me were two emergency situations, one with a little boy who got hurt at school and someone with a burn, so, my head cold could wait a few minutes. They took me back and the male nurse's aid that took down all of my info, weight, temp, etc, was very polite, understanding, and listened very well. He returned with a nurse who watched him take my blood pressure and heart rate. She was also very attentive and answered my questions with confidence. I did have to wait a while for the doctor, but the nurse advised me of the emergency patients and apologized for the wait. I saw them come in, also the nature of their facility welcomes walk in emergencies, so I wasn't upset by this at all. When the doctor finally came in, he took a seat and actually listened to me. He checked me over thoroughly and offered me more medicine than what I even came for. I basically told him the antibiotic and steroid would just about do it and he obliged. I signed up for their care plan thing that they offer, which saved me about $50. Price of the visit with signing up for the card was just over $80. Not bad without insurance. Went to Wal-Mart with my scripts and for under $100 for the whole day, I'm already feeling better, no more pain and the upper respiratory infection is finally kicking rocks. I'll DEFINITELY consider them next time. Great little place for a quick fix. read more

I have an infection in my neck that is spreading as a result from a bad tooth. I haven't been able to get into a dentist office because they are all closed. I tried to set up an appointment with CareNow so I could get some antibiotics to try and stop or slow the infection until I can see a Dr on Monday. They refused to treat me because the infection was a result from a tooth. A couple of years ago I went to Care Now because I had a stomach virus and couldn't stop throwing up. The Dr refused to give me anything for nausea. He told me to take Pepto Bismol. I've been to them several times since then to get a Dr excuse from work if I called in sick. Concierge is the word that comes to mind when I think about my arrival at CareNow Bedford-Euless. I arrived, gave my driver license and insurance card, signed two documents (web check-in and agreement to pay), prepared a cup of hot tea, had seat and watched a movie while I waited...not for long. Here comes the concierge part....the nurse, Linda, said "Hi, Dometrius my name is Linda and will be taking care of you today." We started to walk and talk. She made feel like she not only wanted to help but appreciated the opportunity. Linda was so friendly and seemed to really care. We discussed my reason for visiting, it was like talking to a friend. By the time we finished talking, Linda was done with my preliminary examination. (CADENCE) "The champ is here, (drum beating) the champ is here.(drum beating)" Enter Dr. Steffens aka McFashion! She was sweet only like a mother can be. She checked me out, told me what she thought it might be and what testing she was going to do to confirm my diagnosis. FYI: I am actually writing this review as I go. Yes, I am bringing you the action as it happened, no post experience changes. Now back to the review. So there was a television in the room. I laid back and watched "Around the World in 80 Days." I nearly feel asleep it was so relaxing. This was a good experience. The people at this place were awesome. My first experience, I checked in online at 730am. I was called at 743 to come on in as their doors open at 745am. I was seen my the receptionist, nurse, doctor, and by a phlebotomist and the doctor again in a period of 2 hours or less. I was checked out in a few minutes. Overall it was a great experience! However the doctor told me, come back if you're still feeling terrible the next day. I get 3 calls to follow-up. The first later in the evening in the same day, second day early that morning and third day I went to work and felt awful, they called me and the person who took the call has no clinical experience. Complete disconnect between the person making calls and who they transferred the call to. If a patient is not feeling well they do not want to repeat everything they just told you, the person who called them. Then to be transferred without preparing your coworker is worse. I returned in my second day. I checked in 715PM. I was called within 15 minutes by someone who sounded less than thrilled to be on the phone or speaking to me. It also felt like an automated call, except because of her unhappy voice you can tell it was a real person. There is no personalization, so you almost feel like there isn't a point. During that time I was quoted 55 to 60 minutes. Thenn called again 15 min later to come in as they have a room ready for you. I had to do the same thing as I did two days ago. Provide my insurance and photo ID and answer questions such as a possibility of TB. The point of this?? None. They basically want to waste your time. The 3 female receptionist basically look less than thrilled to be there.. one of them was there my first morning. Basically morning crew happier than evening crew. I have been waiting for 2 hours in a room to be seen. I went outside to see if I was forgotten. There was no one in sight. In fact... one of their computers were open where one can see a patient's chart. As I work in a hospital system that is affiliated with this urgent care... I am deeply sadden to see such a big HIPPA violation. I finally found a doctor... or someone and she pretty much told me she will see me after one more room. 30 minutes later. I was seen. An xray was done ... why it wasn't done the first time is beyond me. But now I'm waiting... again as I finish this review. The three stars is as you guessed it! Related to the two experiences I have had. Apparently there were 5 emergency patients who had to be rushed to the ER. A professional would have come in and notified patients that is what is taking so long. But nope not how they work it here. Also I was in an empty wing of the building... I think they know I'm writing a review and are quickly trying to change my last few minutes here. Although I nearly did walk out. My copay is $20... but still not worth it. This place made it really easy and quick to get a diagnosis and treatment for my ailments. I checked in online, and they even called me to tell me it was going to be about an hour before they called me back to let me know I could come in and see the doctor. I love that! I wasn't waiting and wondering if I'd filled out the online form correctly or that something else had gone wrong when checking in. Once I did get called to come in, I only waited about 5-7 minutes before being called back to an exam room. The nurse was very thorough in her pre-check, and I barely had to wait for the doctor to come to my exam room. The doctor was very friendly and had great bedside manner. She made it a personable interaction and I really appreciate that. There are other doctors who basically don't even look you in the eye while they're examining you and that's just disconcerting. Overall, I was in and out in around 30 minutes and on my way to the pharmacy...which took much longer...but that's another review! :) read more

This place is the absolute worst excuse for medical care that I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Don't come here for anything unless you've got an entire day to kill. I wasn't even sick, I came in for regular drug testing via my employer and had to wait an hour before I could go back to "pee in a cup". I'd hate to see what the wait time would have been had I not already filled out my paper work prior to coming in. The staff doesn't seem to care very much that people have more to do then sit around in a waiting room all day. Every other per-employment drug screening I have had has been less than a 10 minute experience start to finish, in and out. Since my own experience, I've heard nothing but negative things about care now from everyone that I've talked about it with who has visited them at some point or another. read more

I did the web check in on a Tuesday morning and was was quoted 1.5 hours. After 3 hours of waiting, I called for the status and was then told to go ahead and come in. When I arrived, I was greeted by a front desk girl who clearly did not want to be at work. Then I waited about 45 minutes to be called back by an RN who also seemed less than thrilled w her job. Once in my room, I waited for AN HOUR before I had to ask when I would be seen. Finally, the doctor came in and had no knowledge or idea of what my condition could be. Then told me to wait while she wrote my script. Another discharge nurse came in and then told me I needed to WAIT AGAIN in the lobby to be checked out. When they called my name to pay, their card reader was broken. Of course. So now I'll be getting this bill in the mail. So much for convenience! Go somewhere else. read more

Update: went to the urgent care in CA because I developed blisters in my throat similar to what my children had. Got tested for strep - turns out that I didn't have strep and I got an earful from the doctor that we shouldn't be taking antibiotics like candy.... this is how super bugs and resistance to medications are formed. Really wonderful service and thorough treatment. I actually liked going here better than my own doctor! From the front desk to the nurse to the doctor everyone was very caring and educated in their field. I came in for a cold, unable to reach my doctor in Plano, and was given options for treatment based on previous antibiotics I had taken in the past. The most basic illness was treated with attention and care, just like any other. As far as wait times go, I don't have a normal case based on my visit today, since it is the day before Thanksgiving. The wait was long to get to a room, but the young lady who helped me sign in told me approxately how long the wait was and offered to call my cell when it was time to be seen. I left to rest and came back, which was nice. Again, it was busy, so the wait in my room before seeing the doctor was long as well. There was a television playing in my room on the HGTV network, and also plenty of magazines, as well as a clean pillow to rest on, so it wasn't too awful. Definitely worth the wait, though. Like I said, this was a better experience than my doctor's office, and I highly recommend this location for urgent care needs! read more

I have no insurance. I went in last Thursday throwing up. The Doctor decided that I had the flu. I explained that my throwing up was not the only thing that I was having issues with. Was rushed out (because I was throwing up.) I told them my symptoms started Thursday night while I was playing volleyball. I was sneezing and coughing everywhere and ended up going home to no sleep. The next day my symptoms progressed to my mucus thickening and not being able to breathe. I called and asked if I could come back and not have to pay the office visit again since it was for the same thing. Nope. I was told to "take your medicine. It will treat your symptoms. If it doesn't work then come/call back." It's been a week. My medicine is all gone. I STILL cannot breathe, my mucus is like GLUE, I can't SLEEP. I'm being bounced around between nurses on the phone for this. Pretty sure it's going to be another $175 for a doctors visit plus more because I'll have to have an x-ray. The sad thing is: I've been going to this place for years. This one issue has pretty much scarred me and I won't be going back after this visit. read more

The staff was quick, efficient, and professional but still personable. They were great with my daughter. She's three and hasn't had much interaction with doctors, but that was not a problem. I hate to have to do this but I have to give this place the review it deserves. We used to use the CareNow on Eastchase in Fort Worth and they kinda went to shit so we started to use this one. They were AMAZING at the beginning! Literally everyone that you came into contact with was so nice and seemed to genuinely care for the patients that came in, they were always super quick, made the right diagnosis the first time, and helped with everything you needed. Over the last 3 years that we've been coming here... 1. The wait times are ridiculous! My last visit was almost 5 HOURS. And just for a sinus infection! The time before that was about 3 hours. And this is the time from when I walk in the door to walking out the door. Not waiting at home for them to call me in saying they're ready for me! 3-5 hours waiting in the examine room. I am currently sitting in an examine room...going on 2 hours of waiting and have only done the initial weight, height, temp, "what brings you in today" with the nurse. Oh I also have already waited 4 hours to be called into the clinic after doing their web check in. 2. The staff.....there are a few nurses that are still pretty good and the doctors here are...nice...but other than those 5-6 people everyone you come in contact with could care less about you and make you feel like you are unconvincing them by making them do their jobs. You'll watch the front desk and nurses just talk, not taking care of patients or making phone calls or I don't know...their jobs. 3. Several times now my mother and I both have had to come back...pay our co-pay for a second time...and see the doctor again because the medication we were given did not work. So now we pay 2 co-pays, each, and for 2-5 prescriptions, each, depended on what the doctor decided. I have never had to do this anywhere other than here. Super fun when you're a college student working part time and having to shell out $200-$300 every time you get sick. You're probably wondering why I keep coming here! Well for one it's close, it's open later than most, and it's slim pickins around here on "top notch" docs at 8:00 at night. I am honestly going to start driving an hour to a different clinic so I don't have to come in here and waste me time, money, and what little patients I already posses.
