I have been going to this CareNow for several years now. The wait times are long sometimes, but at least I can wait at home. The staff have always been professional and friendly. The doctors are knowledgeable and kind. They have always taken good care of me and my family members. They recommended that I have Physical Therapy for my arm, gave me the referral Information. They escribed my medication to my pharmacy. Two days later they called for follow up just to see how I was doing. On June 12, 2026, I went in to this location for a possible UTI, BV, or bladder infection. I previously had a regular Gynecologist but he retired and I'm in the process of finding a new one which explains why I came here in the first place but never again!! I saw a nurse practitioner name Carolyn Brown, FNP-C. She gave me instructions to examine and swap my vagina myself I have never ever felt so discriminated on I will be reporting her to other medical agencies, including getting some legal guidance. They did not allow me time to respond and took it amongst themselves to card my card the additional cost. I had a concerning experience at the CareNow Cedar Hill location during a follow-up visit for a work-related back injury. The provider reviewed my MRI and immediately stated that the findings were "pre-existing" and that the injury "could not have happened from pushing a shovel," even though I had no prior back problems before my work injury. After the visit I reviewed my discharge paperwork and noticed it incorrectly stated that I do not take my medication daily, which is not what I told the provider. When I returned to request that the documentation be corrected, the provider argued with me about what I said and eventually transferred my care to another clinic. The discussion about my medical care also took place at the front desk in the lobby, which felt unprofessional. Patients should be able to trust that their medical records accurately reflect what they report and that concerns will be handled respectfully. read more

I came here at 4:13pm on a Sunday with my sick 18 month old toddler. We were turned away. They said they are not taking anymore patients for the day and said for us to go to a hospital. Care Now only takes payments up front, no billing. We have an HSA card with the employer, which I did not have with me. I had to pay out of pocket, they wouldn't even take the card info over the phone. I asked for an itemized receipt so that I could be reimbursed and was told I'd have to wait two days, then return in person to pick up. I asked if it could be emailed and was told no. Stay away from this place if all possible. My son has a potential broken arm from football and has been here as a patient before. This place was slow and we had a lot of paperwork to fill out. After waiting 45 minutes, we were told that the cost would be close to $400 because we hadn't meet the deductible, mind you that my son is still in tears waiting to be seen this is the same place that we just here this spring in June and we were also told by this place that we hadn't met our deductible, only to get a reimbursement check a week later for the full amount from Care Now. Stay away from this place. Just call an ambulance or drive yourself to Texas Health Emergency Room or Memorial Hospital in Duncanville. Follow up- we left and went to Texas Health Emergency a mile a way and what a huge difference. I filled out the paper work and Austin was seen. My son had two broken bones in his arm. They treated him gently, with sympathy unlike Care Now. My same insurance company was verified here, just like at Care Now and my out of pocket was only $25. Stay away from Care Now. Bad experience before I even got there! Called to get an out of pocket quote for 1st visit high blood pressure check and possible prescription and you would've thought I asked an impossible question!!! The girl said "it will be $160 to see doctor and whatever cost of test ran will be due at the end". I got a Covid Test back in November 2020 because I had to to be able to go back to work, the second one I had received there, the first one was taken care of in full. I received a bill for double what my insurance stated my responsibility was. I have no problem paying what is my portion. However working with insurance myself I know how contracted rates work. They had what they said was an insurance error as to why it is being doubled billed. I have had 5 different conversations with them about this, once being only 3 weeks ago and was told each time they see what was wrong and would get it corrected and I would receive a new bill. Saturday I got a bill for my corrected portion, but from a collection agency called Medicredit. To say I am livid is an understatement. I was nervous about going to this location because of all of the negative reviews but I had a very positive experience. They were booked solid so I had to wait till midnight to go online to sign in for the current day. I selected to go in after 10a. They called around 8:30a to give me the pin I needed to fill out the online information. They also let me know it was probably going to be an hour or an hour and a half before they called me in. It might have been closer to 2 hours but I didn't want to go till after 10a anyways and I know they are busy. I probably waited 5 minutes before I was called to a room. I went in for back issues. I did online check in. The receptionist was very nice. I got a text and a call when it was time to come in. I only sat in the lobby 5 mins before I went back. Nurse was very nice and professional. The doctor was thorough and made sure I understood the diagnosis and the medicine prescribed. I'm already feeling better. Christmas eve visit to this location. I reluctantly came in and never dreamed that I'd have an experience as wonderful as this visit. I have a GREAT family physician and frankly couldn't imagine another doctor's office, let alone a Care Now, coming remotely close to my personal physician. Dr Pinkham and the staff there is phenomenal. Their attention to detail, professionalism, kindness and expertise are priceless. If you're reluctant to give Care Now a try like I was, once you experience the amazing staff and their full service medical care options you'll be sold. In addition to Dr. Pinkham, there's a PA (physician's assistance) and NP (nurse practitioner) on staff. This is the slowest place ever. I did web check in and I have been here since 3pm. The dr told me it would take 10 minutes for the strep test and the flue test. I'm still here. I told him I was allergic to penicillin and he still trying to give me something in the family. I have a head cold and he is more concerned with with blood clots. This makes no sense. read more

I visited the clinic 9/14/2018. After trying to get signed into thier online check in, I finally got a phone call saying I was in line and it would be between 2 to 3 hours.. When I arrived there the receptionist Sandy, who was not only rude but confronted me about registering many times. When I explained on my end it gave me alerts that it didn't go through. I was shocked by Sandy's attitude. I later asked about my place in line because another person was called ahead of me and Sandy explained " she is here for a drug screening". Do not go to this one! Web Check Ins are supposed to take precedence over walk-ins but not when you have sat there from open to after lunch time. The D.O. that is there, must be used to dope heads coming in to see her because she is not personable at all. I have been to many urgent care centers but this one needs a new staff. read more

After reading some of the recent reviews, I am certainly glad that I was a fortunate patient to not find myself in the: 1) group of patients that had to wait for a hour or more to be seen 2) had a bad experience with the staff once I arrived 3) had a horrible experience with the attending physician I have nothing but good statements to make: 1) I scheduled and checked in via web 2) my "wait time" was no more than 15 minutes from check-in 3) Dr. Nguyen was a refreshing breath of air, considering not only did he diagnose my condition on the spot, but that he did something that my PCP of 20+ years could not/did not do: diagnose my condition! The one gripe that I will make is that all of the forms that I had to complete could have/should have been made available on the web (might want to look into eClinic software), but other than this item, all went very well for me. read more
