Love the Web Check In, to save a spot for me to see the doctor. Very easy and they give you a time to be there ! Their building was very clean inside and out. The young lady at the front desk was sweet, helpful, knowledgeable, and I was quickly seen, which I appreciate. The nurse ( with her sweet smile ) was knowledgeable, compassionate & very friendly. She took all my vitals and we chatted briefly. Atmosphere was pleasant. Doctor (Ashton Want ) should be in momentarily. Chest Scan was done after COVID test and exam were completed. Two meds were ordered and I will be on the road to recovery. Care Now was an excellent place to choose since my primary care doctor was closed today. You'll receive excellent care from all staff members. I will use them again if needed. It's conveniently located at 1501 SW Wilshire in Burleson TX. They take most Insurance and I love the Web Check In. It saves a lot of time. Especially if you're feeling bad. I highly recommend Care Now in Burleson. They have all the convenience for disabled patients even with their parking. read more

I had a really frustrating experience with the CareNow here in Burleson I was told there was only one provider and that the wait time would be about an hour and a half (or longer), so the staff suggested I go to another location instead. They also told me the patient would already be registered when we arrived at the other clinic. Unfortunately, that wasn't true. When we got to the second location, the wait time was the same--about an hour and a half--and the patient wasn't registered at all. We had to fill out all the paperwork again from scratch. I really wish they had been upfront about the fact that the wait time would be just as long and that we'd have to redo all the paperwork. It ended up being a waste of time and gas, and it made an already stressful situation even more frustrating. Better communication and transparency would make a big difference here. read more

My son had hurt his foot on the 23 of July, 2026 and needed me to drive him to this facility, he forgot his wallet, so I paid for the visit and the x-ray and he paid me back. While checking my online banking I found another withdrawal for $106 on August 14, I phoned customer service and informed them that I never authorized this withdrawal, my son is an adult and if they needed more money from him he should have been billed, they told me it would be sent up for review. That was 3 weeks ago so I called again yesterday and was given absolutely no information of the status of the review. I did not authorize this withdrawal. read more

Ive checked in online for appt time and after i got there was seen relatively quickly. NOT this time, took my daughter we set up appt time for 9:20. We were not informed they were running behind! It's 10:36 and we still haven't not been seen! So much for we will let you know when to come in so you don't have to wait in waiting room! Very frustrating when you are too sick to sit there! I've asked 2 times how much longer still waiting!!!! read more

Abysmal. They advertise foreign body removal but won't touch anything more than a splinter at the surface. Their entire business model is to see just how many times they can get you to come back in so they can charge you every single time you walk through the door. Their referral service is a joke, it takes multiple days for them to process. Hung up on me 3 times trying to get a straight answer from them. You have about as much chance of seeing an actual doctor here as you do winning the lottery. If you have a serious health issue, please go to the E.R. This is a waste of your time and money. read more

This is the worst exposure of my life I did a web check in and they said that my appointment wouldn't be until after 2 but then they sent me a text saying come in at 1:30 so I got dressed and had to drive there didn't get there until after 2 and they gave my appointment away so I am having to wait until everyone else gets seen then I get to be seen geez glad I'm not dying or anything, I've never had a good experience with care now they tried to charge me twice for X-rays when they made the mistake and took pictures of the wrong thing and they've never been helpful always rude and the doctors are very callous they don't take the time to explain to you anything that's actually happening. Terrible if I could give negative stars I would this place sucks. I will just go to the hospital in the future. read more

If you need to URGENTLY see a doctor, do not come here. We waited over TWO hours to see a doctor. This is an urgent care so urgently see the people that come to see you. I understand some patients are more problematic than others but time management is key. Super disappointed this is the closest to us but after this experience I'm willing to drive further for better care. read more

Not sure how this clinic has 4 Stars! I should have read the reviews before I waited 6 hours to be seen. Filled out all the paperwork online with copies of insurance and drivers license, when I showed up from the online wait list they had no record of it. The last thing you want when you feel horrible is to have to manually fill out the paperwork again because their software doesn't work properly. These are just the initial experiences I had, let's move on to the customer service. Horrific, it's essential for healthcare staff to show empathy and care, especially when dealing with sick individuals. If you hate your job or dealing with sick people then this isn't the line of work for you! Find another job that doesn't require any customer service, and to the owners, if it's difficult to find help at a cheap rate, pay people more and hire nice people! Once I did fill out the paperwork a 2nd time I was quickly taken back to see the nurse practitioner. CareNow, please do not respond with a generic AI response. I will never be back nor will my family! read more

CareNow - Generic and uncomfortable. - Doctors Near Me - Burleson, Texas

I had to visit the CareNow in Burleson back in August 2024 for what turned out to be contact dermatitis on my hands. The minute the doctor walked into the room she sat in a patient chair as FAR from me as she could. She then proceeded to tell me that my symptoms matched those of syphilis. While I have learned since then that this is true, she treated me like I had leprosy. Only once did she come from across the room and quickly glance at my hands, before quickly retreating to her "safe space". I know these doctors have a job to do and are probably extremely busy, but when you treat your patients like they have the plague I believe that you have serious issues. I left there feeling embarrassed and ashamed. My diagnosis was in fact, contact dermatitis in her paperwork, but the fact that she pushed the syphilis diagnosis so much and treated me like I was going to infect her was just embarrassing! She wouldn't even come near me! If I wanted fear mongering, I could've just googled my symptoms. I would've felt better than I did when I left that office And saved me some money! Do better CareNow! read more

Started off bad from the front lady girl, she was really rude, if you don't like working the front and being the face of the company you work for, find a new occupation! Your dealing with sick people that are not there best, at least be on yours! Bathroom sink has rust all over, Lastly, no tissue in general area, I watched a guy stand up looking for tissue, he gave up amd wiped it on his pants and his chair on the under side, and side! My nurse was really sweet though, so I rate a 2 star for overall experience! read more

Denied care and was discriminated against. I spent an hour in the Care Now Urgent Care at the Burleson, Texas location on 1501 SW Wiltshire BLVD., Burleson, Tx 76082 and ultimately was denied care due to their own personal theology/beliefs and not due to any actual policy. At this location I had to fill a form called the Urgent Care First Point of Contact form. I took this form with me when I left and have it. It asked my symptoms and reason for my visit. On this form it asks that a mask is provided ONLY IF I had selected yes to any of the above symptoms, which I had not. I do not have a cough or a fever or the exposures they asked. I denied the request they made for me to wear a mask and I was refused care for it. They claimed it was policy and all my forms and documents show it is not. Nor could they provide the proof that it was. I was forced to leave and had my money returned back to me. I was disrespected in every sense and they wasted my time and denied health care for reasons that were personal to them and not lawful! I am pursing this fully. It was a disgrace! Others did not have to have a mask on as they went to the back and I know the staff simply had their own beliefs due to their behaviors shown. I am furious this has happened to me and it should never have to happen again to anyone. Nobody should be treated this way. Separately, there are no studies to show the use and effectiveness of masks. Also worth noting the staff were mask free and one woman had hers worn on her chin. read more

Dr. Wilks walked in and said something about my mask... since I was there to get my throat exam, I thought he was asking me to take it off. He got extremely upset and it reflected throughout the exam. He examined my lymph nodes excessively hard...I have never been treated like this in my life. read more

Possibly the least professional healthcare organization I've encountered. I would give them 0 starts but that's not allowed I don't think. My wife had broke her foot. They told her she had to wait 6 hours. We went to Hugley ER - and they took good care of us. Following up with that, due to WC, she went back (after they called that a time had opened up) and they failed to get her a referral etc. They didn't do it - and both WC and others stated this statement is not true. We started completely over today with Concentra today. Far more professional - she was in and out in about an hour or less. Referral and appointment set. My wife lost 6 days because of them. Unbelievably unprofessional. Go to Concentra. read more

My Son did web check in @9:00am today. They called at 5:15pm for him to come to the clinic. He had a laceration in his ear from an accident. Sat two hours before being seen. Was charged $217.00 said our deductible wasnt met. IT IS MET. Ear was NOT cleaned out, was told to take a shower to clean it up!!! Nurse came in gave supposedly a STEROID SHOT! Wrong patient!! First of all, we used to LOVE this place. The doctors and staff were amazing. Not sure what happened, did staffing all change? Because our experience was completely different this time. We used web check in and still needed to wait in the lobby for over an hour after they told us they were ready for us. Their system was down so that is understandable. We also had to wait another 15 min to be seen by the doctor. Maybe they were understaffed? I asked the nurse to test my son for strep and she leaves. The doctor shows up and examined him and says nothing is wrong with him just a common cold. We were about to walk off, But I persisted and asked about the strep test results. Then the doctor said, "I didn't know he got tested for strep. Our system is down. Let me check." 10 minutes later she comes back and says "You called it mom, you were right." This is where I'm baffled. Everyone is paranoid right now and i almost sent my son back to school with strep!Glad I asked for the test! You need to push and ask for tests otherwise you might get misdiagnosed. Extremely disappointed at the quality of care. read more

My sin jut went there and was told he had a sprained neck. Given 2 prescriptions the doctor was with him for about 3 minutes. Was told light work load (he works in a warehouse) for a week. VERY disappointed in this uncaring doctor. I hate this because I always liked them. ONE BAD APPLE read more

Worst place to come if you are in need of urgent medical assistance, the wait is 6 hours if you aren't literally dying. Staff is awful and condescending. Doctor was so unprofessional it shocked me. Took my wife in on February 11 2022 had a long wait. We had to pay for the visit in advance. What they failed to tell us was that they only had one physician on duty. If they had informed of this up front we could have looked at other options. After waiting for four hours and then being told about having one physician we asked for our money back so that we could go somewhere else. We were informed that they could not credit my card back the money they would have to send a check. This seems odd because every other place of business they can just put it back on your card. Fast forward March 7 2022 we finally received the check. This was supposedly expedited. I am glad that we didn't have to have the money to pay bills for the month. They were really quick to take your money but they are stingy as hell giving it back. Will never use this company again. read more

Honestly, would've gone to my usual provider if they weren't closed/booked until after Christmas. Front end staff was nice, but who ever the lean, blonde woman that called me back was, is plain rude. I ignored it at first just thinking she was trying to get her patients in and out with minimal wait, but wasn't listening to me while I was stating medical history, and overall just seemed to not care about her patients. Like I get it, it's Sunday. I'd rather be home than with you too, but jeez at least have some bedside manners?? Dr was nice but didn't seem to read my chart before entering the room and we spent more time going over the fact I'm NOT pregnant than my symptoms I came in for. read more

To say my experience was unpleasant is an understatement. Did Web Check-In and was called within 4 minutes to obtain insurance information. (Sure wanna know who's paying this bill, dont ya?) Called to center an hour later. Waited in lobby for 25 minutes before being pulled back to backroom. (Btw, employees just talking about how Burleson and East Chase got their bonus, but no other Care Nows did... that's professional) After PA leaves and says standard "Dr will be with you soon", I wait another 25 minutes coughing my head off before I check with the front desk. Clerk: "We only have one provider and he went into that room right there, so you're next." "Why would yall call me if I had to wait an additional hour?" "Well, I didnt call you, so I'm not sure. I'm sorry." That's cold. Dismissive. Rude. I didnt say YOU called me. I go back to wait. Again. 20 minutes go by- A different lady knocks to say that Dr. is finishing up with an emergency patient that came in and he'll be with me soon. Well how long is that? I'm not sure, I'd hate to tell you 10 min and then its longer, ya know? Okay. Well I'll wait 10 more minutes and then I'm leaving. Okay, she says. No sense of urgency. 10 minutes goes by and I walk out. I waited 1.5 hours coughing my head off. I would rather let my eight year old do my taxes than come back to this "facility". I mean, if you're a professional waiter and like to waste your time, this is the place for you. Cause they don't care that you're there either! read more

Very very disappointed with the new staff at this location!! Never even got to speak with what they call the FLOATING doctor. All I got to speak with was an office manager. When I asked for the contact information of the area manager, the acting office manager REFUSED to give me the information. All I was needing was an insurance paper completed with the information that they already currently have in their system. IT WAS NOT A RELEASE STATEMENT, NOR WAS IT A RELEASE FOR WORK PAPER!! I pay for Aflac coverage out of my own pocket to help reimburse me for some of my health costs. I am self employed. And because of Care Now not completing my paper, coverage I ve been paying for a total of 7 yrs I'm unable to use. Very very upset! This is putting me into a financial bind and the staff at care now is asking me to schedule another appointment and have all new x-rays done for an injury that is over 6mos old that I have completely healed from. Which I do not have money for or should have too pay for twice. Just because the doctor I saw I. FEB. retired. REALLY!! read more

Doctor Wilks should have his license removed or be made to go back to school. After I was called to come in then waited over 2 hours. I came in for jaw pain, asked for antibiotics even over phone just said I need antibiotics since dentist can't see me for a week. He came in after 2 hour wait and never once talking to me stating he doesn't prescribe narcotics I said ok I need antibiotics for this swelling and infection. I went to show him and he screamed very loud at me and tried to leave saying I don't care who you are I trust no one and you put that mask back on Youbwill not give me Covid. He then felt my face pushed as hard as he could i almost passed out it hurt so bad, he pushed on ping pong ball size swollen part of my jaw, he said your not getting pain pills. I again said I don't need pain I need antibiotics. Can't seem to update/edit my original review so I'm just posting my two updates and final four star review here: UPDATE: The manager called me and said that she called the billing department and told them to work it out with the credit company, who I already paid when posting my original review, to get me a refund. She said that she isn't sure how or why I was quoted the $160, but that if that is what I was told, they stand by that. She said it could take up to 6-8 weeks for that refund to happen and to be sure to call her back if it doesn't by then, so she can do something on her end. I will update will a better review, hopefully, in a few weeks. Update: Did not get refund in first 6-8 weeks but called manager again who did something else on her end and told me it could take up to four weeks this time. And right at four weeks later, I did receive a refund check. This was very awesome and unexpected honestly but I still can't give a five star rating and am really not sure that I would visit again after all of the mess. However, I really appreciate Shannon who reached out to me and was so nice and understanding and kept at it until I got my refund, so as I said at the beginning of this review, the people here are wonderful! read more

I really, really appreciated the service I received today 11/16/20. My PCP wouldn't see me because I tested positive for Covid. I was in dire need of a steroid shot to help with my congestion. The LVN that checked me in and also gave me a shot, and the nurse practitioner were amazing. Both male, I cant remember names. Wish I could! I think the NP was Eujay?? I'm positive I didn't spell that right. I told them I tested positive for Covid over a week ago and Carenow was still happy to see me. They honestly and I'm not exaggerating, treated me like family. Don't use this as an urgent care. You would be better off going to the ER. My experience there with an upper respiratory infection caused me to lose my hearing. I told DR Taylor my ear hurt and I had been running 102. He said that cough medicines didn't work really work and to just since my sinuses. He prescribed my a steroid Ned pack and no antibiotics. One day later my ear was hurting even worse and ringing. Luckily my doctors office was open and I saw a real doctor. My ear was bulging by then and I couldn't hear out of my ear. My doctor prescribed me an antibiotic. Three weeks later now I went to an ENT because my gearing now has been permanently affected. More steroid and possible injections in the inner ear to recover my hearing or hearing aids. Don't go here. read more

Came in on 12/4/23 and getting checked in was easy enough. Waited almost an hour in a room. In between that time, we asked about ETA for the doctor based on the concerns for the child. First time, we were told there was a person ahead of us. Shortly after I asked my boyfriend to see if he could go get him a fever reducer when a woman with black hair in a bun spoke to him in a raised voice that was extremely rude about how we would be helped when he could get to us. Not even taking a second to listen to what we were going to ask for. Took another 15 ish minutes to get fever reducer, which we would've gone to get ourselves. Then the doctor came in and was a bit condescending and showed in his manner that he didn't understand why we were at the urgent care. I addressed how I took his tone and he apologized and tried to correct it, which I was grateful for. Water under the bridge. On our way out, I let the person who spoke poorly to my significant other that she was extremely rude and should reconsider her own bedside manner. I barely got out how she was rude when she said "okay thank you" in a loud voice that could be heard by the entire waiting room with attitude in her tone. She should definitely consider a different career over dealing with people. The lady checking us in who sat at the front, another nurse who gave our son medicine, and a different one who discharged us were all kind. The one who tried to engage with both my boyfriend and I over us advocating for our child should not be in an environment where care is supposed to be provided to people. Severely unprofessional. read more

Gus, the x-ray tech at care now Burleson has shown rudeness in its finest. Made me wobble down to x-ray without offering a wheelchair. I asked for a wheelchair back to my room and he just shrugged his shoulders and stared at me. I asked if patient satisfaction and care was a priority around here. He stared me down and shrugged his shoulders again. Stared at me, expecting me to get up and walk back. Never offered wheelchair till I walked and was almost to my room. Final diagnosis was fracture. The epitome of uncaring, rude, unprofessionalism in healthcare. Takes one person to give a place a bad name. As a healthcare professional myself, it's disconcerting to see a health professional behave so uncaring and rude. Thumbs down to Gus! You are the absolute uncaring person to come intact with when in pain. As a healthcare professional who works for Medical City Fort Worth and Burleson, our tech has never shown this kind of insensitivity to our patients. read more

Was sent to this place by my company it took them forever even with Web Check-In. When I did get back to see the doctor they said it was my Rotary Cuff and the next time I came for a follow up to be referred out they said my C5- C6 disc were budging after three weeks waiting to go take an MRI and an EMG they decided I needed to see a specialist but in the mean time had reported to my place of employment it was a preexisting condition. Resulting in all my medical care being denied. I took it upon myself to find my own specialist and pay for it outta my pocket to find out my condition is not preexisting and it was actually cause by my work. I received a shot in my shoulder to help with the pain until surgery. There is one person that is kinda and really tired to help at this place and that's the APRN I think her name was Sarah. I have always had a great experience at this clinic. My family has gone here every time our regular doctor was not open and they have always taken great care of us. 95% of the time you get really awesome and caring staff (every place has rotating people who are only there to do a job). The nurses and doctors have always been compassionate and proved that today when I called to see if I could get a new prescription without an office visit, as I had just visited 10 days earlier. I currently do not have insurance and couldn't afford to come back in. Within an hour they called back to let me know the new prescription had been called in. We have had a good experience with this location for minor issues in the past. However, our most recent experience was terrible. We were trying to set up an appointment for my child - who we can't get in with his primary-care physician immediately. Our child has something strange going on with their body, but we aren't sure what it is or what is causing it. We provided a guess on what the issue might be, but explained we weren't sure. The receptionist said they couldn't do anything about it. I explained we still wanted a doctor to look at it to help us further diagnose the problem so we could determine next steps. Rather than offering to set up an appointment she continued to make excuses for why we shouldn't come in. Hopefully, this is an isolated incident - as I said before, in the past things have always been fine. It might just be this one individual. read more

Then sat me back in the room to wait. i finally talked to the girls up front and told them they could call me with my results. They ask someone guessing the dr. They said I could go. Got home. 2 hours later no call. Called back Talked to the radiologist said he still had not got the results. Called another hout. The dr finally got on the phone. Once again very unprofessional. This place doesn't even deserve one star! I have never dealt with such inferior idiots in my entire medical career. I will NEVER take any of my family members to this clinic again. When you go in for acute Sinusitis and the idiot prescribing medication calls in a plethora of medications but ZERO antibiotics you have to stop and question their credentials. Especially when you tell them you are private pay and they call in expensive nose and ears drops but still no tried and true amoxicillin or any other antibiotics. Sadly there is a huge lack in common sense anymore. If someone actually believes that an antibiotic like Amoxicillin won't work UNLESS you use the expensive ear drops and nose drops then that person needs to be flipping burgers somewhere or better yet maybe digging a ditch.
