When you call for information or to get clarification, where to park, for example, you're sent to the queue where you will spend what feels like an eternity just waiting for a simple answer. Once you get into the correct parking lot don't get complacent. The elevators are not marked with the departments beside the buttons. As was my case, I was told to go down for the radiology department. Thinking I was already on the first floor, I push the LL button only to find out that the first floor is a lower floor and the second floor is the main floor. My girlfriend comes to this campus for her chemo, the chemo pumps are pass due for service, and some don't even work. The problem is that when she has to get multiple medications using the pumps it takes longer, a lot longer sometimes hours of time is added to her visit. Some times we sit here for more then 6 hrs, if both pumps work that time can be cut by half. read more

I have been coming here since they first opened and the idea was good, and it wasn't crazy busy.But now.... It takes forever to get an appointment. After you have waited to speak to someone for over 30 plus minutes. They have taken on WAY TOO many patience here, they have the monopoly in this area and it's reflected in the quality of care (rushed and impersonal). I don't feel the doctors are happy.I know I'm not , but where else can you go everyone is here because of the MONOPOLY. I feel they have too many patience to remember them all, so no personal service. Half they time they don't call you with results they MAIL IT!! REALLY? Who can read this crap??? It's like a deli counter, your just a number. When you have a real issue it takes months to see the doctor you need to see, which is ridiculous. tl;dr they suck... did not treat or give any answers i came in for a thumb issue, a suspected sprain; i knew it wasn't broken. the doctor looked at my thumb, wiggled it a little bit, and ordered an x-ray. i got the x-ray and waited for about an hour. the doctor returned and told me it wasn't broken. at this point he asked me about my home and my job and requested a lesson on ecology and environmental science and also how the sun works in alaska (where i am from), but did not look at my thumb again. after that he wrapped my wrist and palm in an ace bandage; notably not my thumb (the thing i came in for). he said the radiologist had not yet looked at my x-ray and that it could take 20mins to an hour, he said "i can call you or you can wait" i said "you can call me" and he left and made me wait. after an hour he came in, handed me a piece of paper, said "it's not broken, take ibuprofen, and rest it" and then gestured to the door like my still being there was a problem. read more

I moved back here from Georgia, where I was also part of a large medical group, and the difference is ASTOUNDING!!!! I have been going to this group for 20 years. Starting when it was mid Hudson medical then it was bought out by my Kosovo medical now it is caremount. The costs of care have spiraled up it is nearly impossible to get the drs nursebon the phone and when I had a problem with my blood pressure being severely high they tried to schedule an appointment over a week away. Of course they offer their own in house lab service. Which I come to find out charges on many tests 3 times the rate of quest diagnostic. This review is for dr. Sarah Pearlstein. She saw me while I was in the hospital told me call to schedule an outpatient procedure that many seemed to overlook. A full year of ambulance hospital stays and er visits, she stepped up and said suggested surgery to end my agony. She heard every question answered and then some. She made me feel so comfortable so safe so HEARD that I'm in complete shock still. She thought ahead and made sure we had our bases covered so we can go ahead. They don't honor appointment times. I waited for a half hour. I'm very disappointed. They claimed it was because there were only two doctors on. Facility is clean, organized and an overall quick experience. Dr. Rohit Gautam, MD, is a new transfer from Maine. He was amazing. Kind, professional, knowledgeable and understanding. This is a difficult time for us all but he had the bigger picture in mind. This too shall pass. Because of his exceptional service, I am giving this particular doctor 5 stars. People like him make people in the community better not just through medicine but through the knowledge he relays to others as well. Happy customer! read more

The most exasperating medical group I've ever belonged to. Always have to wait forever to speak to someone, medial appointments months out, and the antithesis of "Personal attention is given to every caller" which they like to consider their slogan. After waiting three months to see a specialist, I was left a message (just a message not even a phone call) the day before the appointment saying the doctor would be out and was cancelling all appointments. They then gave me another appointment FOUR months from the date they were cancelling. If I hadn't gone crazy complaining, I would have had to wait a total of seven months to see this specialist. Their pre-check in procedure is also faulty. I paid my co-pay online then got billed after the visit. It was a nightmare to straighten that out. It is a medical center conveniently located in the Hudson Valley area. They have multiple locations/campuses and have specialist in multiples disciplines. They accept several insurance carriers. They also have labs (X-rays, ultrasound etc.) and urgent care centers. They have a patient online portal; you can view and request your reports, view medications and health history etc. I have been using their services for over five years now. Usually, the wait time to see a doctor if you have an appointment is less than 15 minutes. Most of the specialists I see have a wonderful staff: very attentive and personable. Because the center employs doctors with various specializations, you can easily be referred to a specialist who can quickly have access to your file. You can also switch doctors without the hassle of having to your file transferred to a different practice. My only problems are: - The urgent care uses a different lab than the doctors. The lab they use is not covered by my plan. That creates so much confusion and extra expenses. - Scheduling an appointment can be a pain. The online option to schedule an appointment requires an operator to call you and figure out a date. Why provide an online feature that still requires me to get a phone call? The phone call can last about 10~15 minutes. It shouldn't take that long to make an appointment! - Depending on the frequency of your visits, you might not feel a personable experience. Some doctors rush you despite you voicing your concerns and issues. They will spend time typing away while you explain important (sometimes embarrassing) health issues. Your visit could be 15 minutes of face time with a doctor, and you might leave feeling more confused and lost than before you walked in. I still use that practice because they are conveniently located and my file can be viewed by multiple specialists without hassle. But, they need to work on making the patients' experience less painful. The surveys they ask patients to fill seem to not be taken into consideration. read more

Well not the experience I expected. They tell you they have a text system so they can text you when your appointment time has come up. It doesn't work the way they said. Two hours later still no text. I came back to the urgent care and all the people who waited were gone. So they were not truthful that the text holds your place. So now I wait. They call me in five minutes later and now I wait in the room an hour! Still no doctor. What a waste of my day and to be sick on top of all of it doesn't help either. I would tell you to find a different urgent care. The front desk staff is not friendly. The one who helped me when I came back was nasty. I have found the doctors to be competent for the most part. Oof ice staff is helpful on site but it is almost impossible to reach anyone on the phone and calls are not returned. I could not get them to give my Rx to the mail order company in spite of numerous calls until a representative from express scripts contacted them for me. I am a patient at Caremount Medical and have been so since 1982 when it was Mount Kisco Medical Group. I have always been very happy with the care I have received. My doctors have been fantastic except for one. If you aren't happy with one doc move on to the next. You can do so with, pretty much, no questions asked. Sometimes you have to wait and sometimes you don't but that is any medical office. I love that you can have almost any test and all of the results are in their system no matter what office you go to. One Stop Shopping...yay! Have I gone outside of the Group...yes, of course, but the majority of my health care has been with them. read more

Interacting with the medical industry continues to get worse and worse...sort of like the experience of flying. My experiences with CareMount (children and self), have followed that trend such that I dread needing any sort of medical attention. It is a pass-the-buck, pass-the-buck, and milk insurance for all its worth. In my most recent experience, blood tests were done without notifying me to fast. It is up to me to correct this. The condition that I visited the doctor's for is simply not being addressed in the 10-minute get me in, charge me, get me out consultations. This isn't health care. The absolute worst in so many ways. They bill improperly and purposely so. I had t threaten calling the Attorney General many times to get billing sorted out. Also, you cannot get through to them easily and I often have to leave messages an hope they will call me back. Often, they do not and if they do it is a day or two later. In addition, the contracts they have with their Doctors are nothing more than Slave Labor. There is no way these doctor can provide the best quality care under the "Do Not Care Mount" contracts. They were bad before "Do Not Care Mount" ... as I call them ... purchased this group. Now they are simply the absolute worst. I changed ALL of my doctors to other practices and I am now much happier. This practice is infuriating to no end. The 45 min hold times just to make an appointment. The unreturned calls from labs. The male Dr that insists you have a chemical before even knowing what your hcg beta levels are. This practice is ... I truly don't have a word to express my thoughts but they're not positive. The OB department has been my experience with this clinic. They don't post your results online on the portal and force you to have to harass a clinic asst "nurse" to get your lab results because they don't call you with your lab #s. Or, the midwife that tells you that all is well with your ultrasound only to find out you require surgery 2 days later. Bedside manners terrible. Dr. Perkes is a nice guy who I'd definitely see again. The others I'd definitely pass on. Their setup is overbooked and don't have the support staff to mitigate their hour and 15 minutes wait time when you're early for your appointment check in time. If there are other options for OB care I'd gladly know bc this place is awful. read more
