Awesome helpful sales gals? Check. Reasonably priced? Yes. Stacked sales and clearance racks? Yes. Better than any mall store?! Yes yes yes! Ok so I really had so much fun shopping in here! During my sunny beautiful weekend in Leelanau county, I was taking a break from all my adventures in the sun and went shopping. I had been in a few haystacks and while I liked their clothes and accessories nothing really stood out to me. However I loved the styles at Cottonseed. I like to describe my style as something like boho chic or ethnic and they had a ton of cute styles that flattered my tough-to-shop-for figure. After nearly an hour running in and out of the fitting room and numerous convos soliciting advice from the nice workers there, I finally found a cute pink linen simple dress with ruffles at the edges, soft white leggings to go with it and fair trade glass earrings from Guatemala. I really had the hardest time picking out which earrings to buy, I wish I could have gotten more! They were all gorgeous. The prices were a little higher than what I would have liked to pay, but still reasonable for being a boutique in a nicer town like glen arbor. When I visit northern mi again I am excited to check this store out again!

Three other shops in town, on Front street, carry Kuhl brand clothing and none of them would order the pants for me. I walked in and talked to Joe about ordering them and "No problem!" was the response I got. He ordered them for me on the spot. The next day our flight department, was told to relocate to Florida for the winter a week early. I walked in to talk to Joe about not being in town to pick the pants up and he offered to ship the pants to me, free of charge! Additionally, I spotted a blue Kuhl pullover that I had purchased in grey a few days earlier in another store. I had also asked this store if they could order it for me in blue and got another "No" response so I purchased the grey one. I talked to Joe about this also and he asked if I'd worn it yet which I had not. He said, "Bring it in, I'll exchange yours for a blue one." Again, awesome! Thanks Joe. I won't be shopping for clothes anywhere else in Traverse City next summer.
