I am happy to see that Dr. Konstantin is refusing to give random people narcotics. I worked in a 1000 Rx a day pharmacy and these people are doctor shoppers whose regular doctors won't give them narcotics so they seek out other doctors and then get disappointed and aggravated when they don't get their drugs. This makes me want to give Dr. K more stars! You don't go to a doctor to get drugs. You go to a doctor to get treated to feel better. It doesn't always require drugs, and you should be glad if you don't need them.

I am a 26-year-old with a LOT of complex health issues - chronic illness and pain, history of trauma (sexual violence and a traumatic assault where I survived being stabbed multiple times), and then at the beginning of 2021 I fell and severely injured my spine and tailbone. Dr. Jaime Young has always listened very intently and compassionately and gave knowledgeable suggestions for treatment options. I am very cautious about taking prescription medications and she has always answered all my questions transparently. She is very prompt with sending prescriptions, and she helped me get a disability placard for my car which was long overdue. I've had a lot of issues with my insurance, and changed insurance a few times since being her patient, but she and the office staff have always been patient and helpful in sorting it out. Dr. Anthony Jones is also wonderful, although I've never been seen by him personally, he has helped with approving an emergency refill on my prescription when Dr. Jaime Young was out of town and I had an insurance issue. I highly recommend both of them as PCPs!

I never feel awkward expressing my concerns since she takes every comment into account. She's very thorough and will explain everything in great detail to you. She never rushes and you feel like you're being heard and taken care of; like you are her number one priority all the time. I know others have expressed how difficult it is some times to schedule an appointment with her but, to me, it's worth it. I've seen other doctors when I've been impatient and felt like I couldn't wait for Dr. Yep and immediately regretted it. Additionally, if you go to their online web site, there's a button you can push in the appointment system asking to be contacted if anything else opens up earlier. Dr. Yep has been excellent with the kids and also with my mother so she can span the spectrum of ages. Just like I expect my dentist or mechanic to not sell me on doing anything more than necessary, the same goes for my doctor. As soon as I said I would like to establish care her response was "ok well whats your insurance" in a rude tone, I shared my insurance info which she immediately said I wouldn't be able to have an appointment for a physical unless it was for something specific, in the same sentence said they were going to change their system by the end of the year and it would be really hard to get an appointment. This could've been handled in a more professional manner, she could've simply shared they are not taking any new patients instead of being combative when I shared I was assigned to the medical group accepted at this clinic. I also shared that I was assigned Dr Pallis by my insurance... Professionalism needs to be worked on at this clinic, I'll have to contact my insurance to change providers unfortunately.

The visit involved 99% being run through the charting motions and then, without any physical examination, the PA telling me they just don't do that and pointing to the place to go on Yelp. (Norcal Imaging, its walk in.) The actual appt lasted less than one minute. 3. Refusing to renew my Ambien prescription without another pointless $160 charting visit. It is just about money now.
