Came in Tuesday nite around 7:45pm, as they were one of the few open until 8pm. My 5 year olds fever had spiked up to 103. Got in there and I whipped through the registration that make you fill out on the tablet. Took about 5 minutes. My daughter was called in less than a minute later. Gave her a strep test and flu test. The flu came back positive. Both nurses were so nice and my daughter loved them. After a couple freeze pops the nurse came out to talk about getting the medication. They were all so caring a nice. One star would be giving them too much credit. The front desk people (they don't deserve the title of receptionists) are extremely, I hate to say it but ghetto. They don't want to help you, they just want to brush you off. I hope a supervisor sees all of these reviews and fires them. I will never be coming here again. For COVID testing it took me 6.0 hrs to get called and even afterwards it was a process - 35 minutes later when I am supposed to be next to be swabbed - I am still waiting... The women at the front desk are very rude and have been misdiagnosed/treated, leading me to waste more time and money on further doctors appts & medication. I had called on Sunday to see if I needed an appointment . The woman who answered the phone told me no and to come in . I came in at 6pm that night and when I arrived they told me they couldn't take me because I needed appointment. Went back the next day at 8 am and they saw me .My diagnosis was a UTI ( took urine sample from me ) I wasn't getting better so I called them . They wanted to know when I came in and when I told them , they looked me up and said said I didn't have a UTI . ( prescribed Cipro)) I was taking this medication all week ! She told me to stop and I told her I had 1 pill left ! I don't know who diagnosed me , but obviously they don't know what their doing . BTW they never called me when they received my results . Never been to a urgent care facility , but will never go again . I would give them a O rating if I could ! I also called back the next day to have them send me my results . ! read more

Went in for a basic Made an appointment online, then made wait 2 hours past my appointment time. What's the point of an appointment time if they just put you in line with all the walk ins. I went to there for covid testing. They said " wait in a car" and had me waited over 3 hours. I will not go there for any reasons.

Pretty good urgent care in the area. I went just over a week ago for poison ivy and there was literally nobody in the waiting room (wow, right!?). However, somehow i still had to wait for 15-20 min. Then once the nurse took my vitals I waited another 20-25 min for the doctor to finally come in. That's the reason for 4 Stars. Otherwise, good facilities, nice people/employees. :) read more

Don't bother making an appointment on line because you will be seen no faster than if you just walk in. I made an appointment for 12:50 and showed up on time. There were 2 patients in the waiting room when I arrived. I was handed an iPad to fill out information (all of which was already in the system from a previous visit) and told to wait in the lobby. I was called into the exam area 40 minutes later (after the other patients) and spent another 20 minutes waiting for the doctor. The doctor was pleasant and answered all my questions. NO STARS REVIEW ABSOLUTELY APPALLING Sunday I went online to try to schedule an emergency COVID test. Was unable to schedule one online. They opened at 9am. I was inside and waiting behind 6 other people who were scheduling rapid COVID TESTS for that day so they would be able to go on vacation out of country. One kept handing her phone to the receptionists to have the person on the other line translate and get their points across. Needless to say they were traveling for fun and made that clear. 2 of the receptionists handled this persons phone without gloves or washing hands before touching other things behind the desk. I get asked if I need help at 930am after standing inline for 15 minutes. I ask for a rapid COVID test and explain that my grandmother just tested positive and I am 8 months pregnant. THEY TELL ME THEY CANT HELP ME TODAY BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO MORE TESTS. that I could try again tomorrow without guarantee. THE FACT THAT THIS GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO ARE BREAKING THE RULES BY TRAVELING ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN A PREGNANT WOMAN, IS DISGUSTING! I am appalled that they would have priority over a pregnant woman who only stays home and no longer works to stay safer and who isn't traveling. Absolutely disgusted !!!! read more

I have been waiting for a covid test for 6 hours. The process is sloppy and quite frankly inhumane. There is no confirmation once you "register" online and absolutely no wait time updates or even general estimates on wait times. I was given an answer after calling multiple times that I have 1 hour left, that was 3 hours ago. I have asked multiple times if I would even be seen today and the answer is a swift "yes" with a little go back and wait for your call look. I understand the demand for these appointments but this is lack of customer service, accessibility and pure honesty. If I was told at 11:00 am that I wouldn't be seen until 7pm I could have had a productive day and retuned at my allotted time. I am here, still waiting. read more

Was the second person in line outside the door around 7:45 waiting for the facility to open at 8. The doctor did not show up until around 8:15, at which time they began allowing patients to enter. I was instructed to wait in my car for an "available room," and have been waiting for nearly two hours. After going inside to make sure there was not a mix up, I was told there are three people in front of me to get room -- which makes no sense whatsoever. People that were behind me in line have been seen and left already. Very disorganized and not time efficient whatsoever. At this rate I could literally die of COVID and have a full funeral service before getting in the building to get a test. If you need URGENT care I would definitely go somewhere else. read more

Would have gotten faster service in the hospital ER. They hand you a tablet to self-register and it asks the same questions over a few times. Very frustrating and time-consuming. The examination room was dirty and worn with scribbling on the walls and seemed as if they didn't care about their patients. I would NEVER bring my child there again. Showed up at 735am before they opened at 8am, with a knee injury and I was the 2nd person that walked thru the door I got put in a room at 830 then I waited an hr for the nurse to come in. I finally got an X-ray right after the dr came in at 10 and apologized for the wait and argued with me that I was the third person and then was sent home with discharge paperwork and a brace at 1015. Then I needed crutches but they didn't have any so sent me to Northborough. It was an awful experience and I usually go to Ready Med on Shrewsbury Street who is phenomenal easy in and out no matter the wait. I did not go to them this time cuz I wanted to get to work ASAP and they opened at 9am and didn't want to wait that long but almost thinking that if i did I would have been done quicker and earlier. Wated there for a little over two hours. The male nurse was only positive in the trip. Cudos for him. However "receptionist/xray tech has no business working in the public. She is rude and condescending. This is my second encounter with her ( she was working this past Fri. Between 3:30:5:30). On to physician assist. She was nice but after telling her what worked the last time I came there she sends me home with the very prescription I told did nothing. So after 2 days later I am only worse. STAY AWAY!!! READ THE REVIEWS!! ZERO STARS!! I attended this facility for a small medical procedure. A couple weeks later I am notified that I will be charged over $265.10 more, because the doctor charges more than the contract amount designated by my insurance company (one of the best in the US) for the procedures preformed. Don't waste you money and time here, its not worth it! Just GO SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR! Always demand to know what the exact charge will be up front! So we got there last night at 7o'clock for the appointment. The front desk person told my boyfriend that he needed to pay $180 out of pocket to be STD testing. Which I went to that care about in Northborough the day before and I didn't pay anything therefore they were trying to scam us. So I called Kara while in Northborough and they called figured it all out then we waited till 8 o'clock because then it was past his appointment time. He gets in there gets tested of course he comes back positive. Whatever doctor was there decided to tell him that oh guys don't usually get this STD. Weird, because at the Northborough urgent care they told me that girls don't usually get this STD and it stays in guy systems without them knowing because they have no symptoms. All I have to say is avoid this urgent care The one in Northborough is so good and understands and everything they don't try to blame it on your other partner obviously that's not what they're therefore. read more

What a waste of time. I went to the carewell urgent care on 500 lincoln st Worcester Ma. 1st, the front desk clerk was rude and had no personality. Was seen by I guess he was a doctor. Was told I have a back sprain but he couldn't tell me when I can return to work and how long to be out of work. Just no heavy lifting. Well there is heavy lifting. Waited for an hour to be called. The LPN DAVID was so unfriendly, aggressive and rude when asking questions and taking the vital signs. He was YELLING AT ME when giving instruction. When you are not feeling good and the staff treat you poorly its really disappointing. HE GAVE ME A CUP WITHOUT A LID FOR THE URINE TEST! Its so easy to contaminate your lab test!!!!! Waited for another hour to be seen by the PA. PA was friendly and apologized for making me wait. Had to wait about 30 minutes but it was 100% worth it because she took the time to explain everything in detail and listened to me unlike other urgent care centers who seem to dismiss some patients without listening. I had made an appointment online and was told it would only be max a ten minute wait, waited 30 minutes. My daughter had been diagnosed with pneumonia earlier this week, I was feeling the same, was told its a virus nothing the DR. Could do for me. My chest pain was so severe I went to the er and was prescribed antibiotics as well as an inhaler. Miserable fail. read more

Let me start off by saying that I have never given a negative review of a business in my life. I would give a review of ZERO if not for the nurses at the front desk. Both of the gentleman up front were very nice and empathetic to my pain. I went to this Urgent Care in an absolute state of emergency. I was in SEVERE pain and looking for relief so that I could make it through the night until a follow-up appointment I had scheduled at a Spine Specialist the following evening. I was greeted by the most unkind and condescending excuse for a doctor that I have ever met. I wish I could remember his name, for he does not deserve his license. This gentleman spoke to me as if I was a mentally challenged 4 year old and advised I take Aleve for the pain. When I would try to speak to him and tell him my concerns, he would cut me off and speak to me in such a condescending tone. He was a tall, thin, white haired man. I would know his name if I took my discharge papers, but given the horrific pain I was in, I refused to wait for instructions on how to take Aleve! What a waste of my $95 copay and my time! I ended up in the Emergency room at Umass Memorial, got an MRI, and had emergency spinal surgery the very next day! Not only did I have two herniated disks, but also loose fragments that were obstructing my nerve! I have never been in such pain in all of my life, and for this man to dismiss me in such a rude manner and tell me to take Aleve without so much as giving me a proper evaluation, I sincerely hope he gets fired. No one should ever be made to feel so inferior, especially not by a "caregiver." read more

Please do not visit this facility. If I could give zero stars I would. They do not care about the people whom come to them for help. They have no mercy even for children. Last week I visited this facility for my son who cut the area above his eyebrow. I had to wait 15 min. Before I could even check in my son because other people were there. Then I explained why I was in and gave my card. I came to find out with my insurance I need a referral from my son's dr. It was after hours do I called and left a message for my don's dr. She called me back And said she verbally could tell them it was okay. I told the man at the front desk and he said that it could not be a verbal. The dr. Would have to send in a sheet saying it was okay with a requisition number. My son's dr. Said there was no way she could do that the office was closed. So I had to leave with him and go to the ER. Then I go with my other twin son today. I thought they would see him since he has been in before ave referred. Guess what? Again they refused and said he needs a referral on every visit. I will add to that no one there smiled or looked like they care. So I called another urgent care 5 min. Away and they went above and beyond and got a verbal fromu my son's pediatric dr. And said it was fine to go. The other place just does not care. And my sick son wanted a lollipop when we first got there and the man behind the counter said after the appointment even though there was a whole wad of them in the glass container. The worst clinical experience I have ever had. The intake associate seemed rushed, interupting me as i tried to answer her questions and give her a clear picture of what was going on. The doctor, the same one described in another review, should not have a job. He spoke in a condescending manner, and absolutely refused to have any dialogue about my issue. His physical examination took all of 5 seconds and was as basic as it comes. Toward the end, when i pointed out something that may be pertinent to my visit, he told me thats for primary care, and this is urgent care.....we treat one thing per visit and we have already done that today. I had previously told him I didnt have a primary care doctor. I was so frustrated and angry that I walked out. If you need urgent care, stay far away from this place. Care Well was the worst urgent care facility I have ever been too. I went there on three occasions in the last three months with the hope it would get better each time. First time for myself which they charged me 30 a dr waved a flashlight in my mouth and sent me to the ER for Strep. The second time, I brought my toddler in with a high fever and cough and they sent me home saying it was viral and charged me $30 for five mins and they didn't even listen to his chest when i was there for a cough. I had to take him to his primary the next day where he had an ear infection. The last and final time i took my toddler back with a fever of 104.5, on a Sunday afternoon and he is 20 mos old and they sent me home saying it was viral after having charged me $40 for a 3 minute evaluation. I had to take my son to his primary the next day where he was diagnosed with double ear infections. The place is horrible, the doctors do not take their time with patients. It is no wonder there is never a wait at the facility. I will never take any of my children or myself there again. Poor excuse for an urgent care. I'm not sure why all the one star reviews. I had a pretty good experience, for an urgent care facility. The price was more than I would have paid at a GPs office, but that's to be expected when you visit an urgent care office. The gentleman at the front desk was nice, not overly friendly, but not mean. When he asked for a credit card to put on file I wasn't thrown off since I have been to urgent care before and know many expect a payment option up front since they have seen lack of payment in the past. I made an appointment for early as possible since I know urgent care can turn into a waiting game depending on severity of other patients. I was able to get into a room just after my time and I didn't have to wait too long for the doctor, only 5-10 minutes, but again it's urgent care, that's to be expected. The doctor was nice, a little rushed, but there were many people waiting in the lobby by the time I left, so I can understand how he might feel the need to rush. Since my reason for visiting wasn't severely urgent, I wasn't too upset by it. He asked if I understood everything he told me and if I had any questions. All in all, I would visit this place again. I prefer not to go to urgent cares, since they get very busy and the doctors can be rushed, but it's the same at the ER and GP offices sometimes, so can't really do much about it. read more
