He was unable to close his fingers to make a fist. In MI, doctors told him he could (1) wear a hand/wrist brace, (2) take pain meds, (3) surgery. I called Kendra and explained what was happening with my son's hands and asked her if she would help him. She said she would, and I made an appointment for him for the same day. I went with him because Kendra speaks mostly Spanish. I admit I was a bit skeptical, but I was willing to give it a go because I needed my son to be well. She focused on his hands for the entire 1 hour. She is fantastic, kind, funny and has a great disposition...best of all, she knows what she's doing. My son said his hands were so much better after a one 1-hour session. The numbness was gone, except for the fingertips in one of his hands, swelling was completely gone the following day. He made another appointment with Kendra same week before returning to MI. A week after his first appointment, I spoke to him and he said the swelling, numbness and pain are completely gone. 2 appointments, that's all it took. I am so happy with the results of Kendra's massage/therapy! I have recommended her to my family members.

I walked in at 11:43, and they rushed me out by 12:10. To add insult to injury, as I was leaving, they demanded a whopping $20.00 tip! Not only did I not get the full 30 minutes promised, but they had the audacity to ask for a $20.00 tip. I initially thought $40.00 was a fair price, considering you spend 5-10 minutes waiting which is part of your 20min stay. I had intended to tip $10.00 and maybe return, but this experience was beyond frustrating. Save yourself the trouble - stay far away from this place. Walking out of that room only left me more stressed than when I walked in.

So much so that I went 3 times in one week. Jolo was able to accommodate me immediately by getting me in with Dr. Jen for acupuncture and cupping. I then had the best deep tissue/sports massage that I have ever had with Dee. All the three ladies were very knowledgeable and skilled at relaxing my body and helping me heal without causing any additional pain. I will be forever grateful for finding Oasis Healing and wellness center and making my visit more enjoyable and will definitely return next time I am in town.

I have known her for quite a few years, since she was located next to the Starlight Whittier Village Cinemas. A few months ago, I went in for acupuncture and a massage because my back and neck were bothering me for a while. I had been very busy with my business and knew I needed to come in, but I kept putting it off until the discomfort became too much. By the time I went in, I was actually having a hard time walking. I left feeling so much better, with the pressure in my back relieved and the discomfort greatly reduced. In the past, I have gone to Jamie for bronchitis, lower back pain, and knee pain. She does more than provide treatment; she talks with you and works to understand the root of the problem. I highly recommend her services.
