Great local clinic. The nurse, Shawna, was the sweetest and most accommodating. The doctor was efficient, understanding and kind.

My husband had strep throat and so I sent him here and I saw online that you can pre-register with insurance and all of your things and then you can put yourself in a waiting line and they will text you based on how far away you are. We are only about five minutes away and we were called in immediately seen immediately swapped immediately diagnosed immediately and then my husband actually had strep throat and I didn't. We also went during alternating times and there were other patients but everything moved so quickly and insurance covered some of it there is a parking lot designated to the place and then spot specifically for the clinic, which was nice. read more

They said there was no break and should be better in a couple weeks. 2 weeks later it wasn't improving so I went and got X-rays somewhere else, sure enough my shoulder is broken. Seriously. I asked if they care for pedi there in that office and person replied rudely and said what insurance do you have? after i told her what insurance my child has, she was like nope we dont take that here. My daughter and I took her daughter here for suspected strep throat. I filled out all the information for her online and checked in. They called my daughter when it was time to come in. Allergy season just got b tee after visiting Care Now. They are online in the office. Take a picture of the QR CODE, picture of insurance card and license. It auto fills the rest. I called the phone number listed in CIGNA and the receptionist answered right away and verified my insurance. This was formally a Med-Spring facility and was apparently sold to Care-Now. I found the waiting room to be spacious with a complimentary coffee bar. Once inside the exam room, a tech (?) named Carman took my vitals, washed the wound, and prepped it, but she wasn't like a lot of techs, at first I thought she was the nurse because she was so professional. Then I was seen by an extremely professional nurse practitioner, Annievi D, who spent what I thought was a generous amount of time, coupled with caring, cleaning the wound, then bandaging it. Afterwards, I was sent home with enough supplies to perform adequate post-care. This nurse really left me with a positive experience in my mind for having made the journey to Care-Now. read more

11:45AM July 5,2024 I went to the CareNow facility in Sugar Land, TX on HWY 6. I was greeted by the man behind the counter who was half asleep, unkept, and didn't even look up when I spoke to him about my appointment. It got worse from there... I walked out immediately. They did a chest X-ray and said I had atypical pneumonia and "possibly" tuberculosis. What the hell is possibly? Either you know or you don't know... The chest X-ray was specifically to rule out The TB and they didn't even do that. I went to My PCP and they did their own set of X-rays and I was perfectly fine ! How the hell do make a mistake of diagnosing someone for something like that ?!? Mind you It scared the hell out of me as well. This place SUCKS. Be sure they will mess up. read more

I came last week because my ear was in horrible pain and my hearing went out. The very first thing I said was that I thought I had an ear infection. The PA took one look in my ear and said it was ear wax build up. I trusted it at first because I've had ear wax build up before, but it was never painful. Well they took the earwax out, and it hurt so bad as they did it. I let them know, and they looked in my ear and said my ear canal was all clear. I guess they somehow missed the BUG that was in my ear. They prescribed me oral antibiotics for a middle ear infection "just in case" it wasn't the ear wax. I know a bug being in my ear is not their fault, but it felt like they weren't taking me seriously and didn't really even look in my ear. And I ended up having an outer ear infection, not middle ear, due to the bug, which I was told when I went to a different urgent care. They didn't do their due diligence at all. read more

Do not go. They will double charge you and won't review the dispute with finance for several months. Went in for a blood test that my job requires, insurance doesn't cover and I paid 100% cash for the entire cost. I've received several bills since for an additional $150 and no one in finance can tell me what it's for and I was told I shouldn't be charged this. 9/1 a ticket was open and I'm still receiving bills 12/1 and the ticket is still pending review. I paid 50 dollars and waited an hour to get called back. I went in because I fainted and hit my head on concrete and the doctor proceeded to tell me I was being dramatic and had nothing to be stressed about. I went in to get my head checked out and the woman doctor said that I shouldn't be at the doctors office for my "little head injury" because this 65 year old man came in with a beat up leg and wouldn't let her help him. She proceeded to tell me "you have no reason to be upset your young have a good job I think you just have depression and anxiety. You should go have fun this weekend with your family. No reason to be at the doctor I can't help you here." She then leaves and comes back and goes oh "where did you say you hit your head? I should probably check that out." Then says "ok be brave now go out there you got it." I fainted yesterday and hit my head on concrete and have been displaying concussion symptoms and this doctor had the nerve to turn me away after I paid her and not check out my injuries. I don't care if I have nothing wrong if I'm paying you and you're a doctor just do your job. She then told me to call my doctor to put me on anxiety and depression medication. Echo the advice do not go here for a Covid test. If you want Covid, it's probably a pretty good option for you. They don't tell u that you have to have a dr visit to get a test. Not when you register online, not when they take your $$. If you sign up online and receive a test to come now... take your time I rushed over then waited 30 minutes-- full waiting room. The place was very clean and near. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. I was seen very quickly and the Doctor was caring, compassionate and professional. She took concern with my symptoms and didn't just give me a "$20 College educated guess". I was started feeling better within 24hrs. I will return the next time I'm not feeling well. The urgent care opens at 8. I was the first patient here at 8. All I need is a drug screen and lab work. At 8:45 I was seen. If you open at 8 be ready to see patients at 8. I work in healthcare, I get there are some things that take times but finishing your time coffee and episode of sponge bob in the back should not take priority over patients. I had a great experience and the staff helped me very efficiently. I was able to do mobile check in and get seen in less than an hour. My doctor Alekhya Y was able to identify my problem immediately with the help of both Alex J the x-ray technician and Stephanie T. They provided me the help and medicine I needed to get better. This is ridiculous 2.5 hr wait to get in the exam room. A 20 minute test, wait another 1 hour for the dr to give you the result. The test took only 20 minutes to cook. Grand total of 4 hrs. Crazy!!! This place is pretty bad. Poor interaction. Long waits with barely any patients in the place. And the refused to let me finish what I was saying on 3 occasions in a conversation about my care. I also got a shot that I've had before and never before have I been so sore as when they administered it. So they did a terrible job at that. I'm very displeased and won't return. Do not go here if you are just looking for a Covid test. They do not disclose up front that you will be required to wait around and see a doctor first (and be charged for the privilege). "We are not a testing center", they said, AFTER I had already submitted all the paperwork and was about to get called back. I suggested they should be transparent about this practice up front, and they retaliated by keeping me waiting in the exam room and seeing other patients first. Also I'm pretty sure a covid test (nasal swab) isn't supposed to come out pink? I've had several and this was by far the most painful. I'm not sure why the previous reviews are low. I had a fantastic experience here. I fell jogging and cut my hand bad on a rock (jagged edge) and thought I could wrap it until morning. Took off wrapping and saw that it was no way going to heal without stitches. The wound happened almost 10 hours prior. The doctor said that I was within the zone of being able to get stitches (they prefer 6 or less hours), so they did them anyway after cleaning my wound thoroughly.10 days out I am OK. I dodged a major bullet. Prytuanka (spelling?? did my stitches.) she was wonderful. Best bed side manner ever!. She was like a plastic surgeon. My hand looks way better then it should have. This was just stitches to fix the situation, but I waited potentially too long. She worked with it. Highly recommend. Hope I don't need to go back for an injury but I will go right here if need be! read more

I took my 8 yo son here for a cut on his eyebrow. The person at the front desk asked for a copayment even though my family met their out of pocket and nothing was owed. Out of desperation to be seen, I paid. We waited about two hours before being seen. Instead of needing stitches, the NP glued the skin together. The cut was on his eyebrow, she did not cover his actual eye and ended up dripping the glue into his eye gluing it shut. Of course, my child screamed in pain as the NP tried to rip his eyelids apart. Been coming here for years and highly recommended to friends. Receptionist was extremely rude upon entry and insisted on me getting up repeatedly to talk to her despite sitting less than size feet away. Insisted on me paying an outrageous amount upfront despite having met my deductible and max out of pocket, and providing evidence thereof, and coming here many times since. Told me to call the billing office which was not even open (and she knew that) and that they couldn't serve me unless I paid the outrageous amount. I normally don't leave reviews but this is my second time here and both times my symptoms have been downplayed by the PA, Alekhya. The walls here are extremely thin walls and I overhead her and the aid talking about me and laughing. I only ever come to a clinic or hospital if I feel like something is genuinely wrong. I waited nearly 2 hours for my 4:00 p.m. appointment for cough and cold (no COVID, tested negative earlier) the only service provided to me was a technician took my vitals. Never saw the NP or doctor. Two hours later, I left, without medication and still sick. If I were 2 hours late for an appointment I would not be seen. There were 2 people ahead of me when I arrived and 2 more walked in after me. Very poorly run/managed. I WILL NEVER return. read more
