It is, in fact, a synthetic opioid that was easily available online for many years. I tried to stop on my own 4 times, and the side effects were so horrible, I went right back to it. The brief detox was unpleasant, but I left the hospital shaky and still with awful side effects. Thank god, I found Norton online right away, and, when I called, they were friendly, courteous, and I didn't feel judged, as I had when I talked to several expensive, inaccessible psychiatrists listed as Suboxone prescribers. Norton made an appointment for me the day after I called and I left the office with a script for a drug that has helped me stay off opioids for 10 years. I've weaned off the suboxone, and now take a very low dose. I hope to stop entirely eventually, BUT, should I need it forever, no problem. I have a normal life. I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Akhter, the founder, and all of the other doctors and staff who have helped me be a non-addict. Norton Healthcare is the best, and I recommend it to anyone who needs help.

First off the bat is impossible with name like "cleanslate" but then I walk into new falmouth office and the tiny waiting room in plastered with addiction posters, including giant one on suboxone prescription policy, urine drug screen policy, and all I could think was my god i will never be able to come here with anyone being with me. I felt like i was being shamed right in the waiting room. It was humiliating degrading and honestly so obvious they minus well have plastered the walls with our medical records it felt like it should have been a hippa violation. The office that was there that they bought out actually did look and feel like a reg dr office. I kept my dignity each visit. This ones obsurd. I cried for hours after left and now i cant sleep.

Any time the doctor was going to give me my medication instead of having to go the pharmacy, I could hear Roselyn telling him he couldn't do that and he would have to write me a prescription. Guess they only do that for the patients that Roselyn likes. My last visit I waited over an hour and left. I did well on the program and did everything that was asked of me. I have continued my weight loss journey on my own and have had great success without having to deal with being treated badly when I went to the office.
