Super easy and got $2.5k more than what the dealer would give me on trade in as well as what Carmax would give me. That seems higher than I read in other reviews but in fairness my car was kept in what I believe to be above average condition. Glad they recognized that and compensated me accordingly. The folks working there are all just real nice, explain things clearly and concisely. I found them to be honest friendly and no BS. Took 10 minutes to get a quote in writing and other 10 min when I came back next day to walk out with a check. The only thing is they operate in a very small converted home just off sample. Looks off from the outside but very clean and professional inside. They pay more in part because they operate with low overhead. So don't let the outside scare you away!! What else can I say! Don't waste your time as this place doesn't offer up more than Carmax and *if* they do it's like at max $500 over what you give them from Carmax. They must dislike BMWs, mine was also an X3 and after saying they would have to "shop it around" to see if they could do more than Carmax they didn't even bother to call me to tell me they couldn't match Carmax's offer! I should have known better than to waste my time when they have guys standing at the Carmax entrance handing out their flyers that they will beat Carmax's offer! It appears they are just trying to steal their business/c and that's just dishonest business to me. Steer your car clear of this place! UPDATE/BEWARE: This reply from the owner is NOT true. Of course I owe the bank more than what the car is worth - that is the main reason anyone who even comes to this place of business does so, because you claim to "beat Carmax's offer" but I didn't come in wanting or asking for so "much more" as the business owner claims on the vehicle at all! They beat every other that I had gotten including CarMax, Vroom and Carvana They were easy to deal with and very efficient and even though GM Financial dragged their feet and took 2 weeks to give us the buy out they hung in there and got it done. I wish I could give no stars to this location. I went to CARMAX and got an offer for 2015 BMW X3 totally customized with highest technology and got an offer of 21000 which is not bad compare to KBB offer of 21000-24000 for this type of vehicle. I went to car drop and they lowballed me for only 17000. They stated that my car had an accident and was not drivable which is untrue. Yes, my car had an accident however it was not towed or damaged in a way that was not drivable. I drove the car 2 months until I took car toBMW body shop in Fort Lauderdale. After he lowballed me like that, I showed them what carmax offered and they were very unprofessional about it. They said that well your car was not drivable after accident and bunch of other carp which are totally untrue. I definitely tell everyone to stay way from them. They are not what they claim to be. After leaving CarDrop office I got engaged in a conversation with a gentleman who was also disappointed in his experience with CarDrop. A few weeks back I decided I needed to switch to a cheaper vehicle so I started the search for a new vehicle. I checked many lots and narrowed what i was looking for. At the same time I was looking to see what they would give for my Range Rover '18. It was tough going as usual. Most dealerships didn't come close to 50% of the value. I went to Carmax and got a fantastic rate. When I was leaving I was aggressively flagged down by one of the handful of people right outside of Carmax that were wearing t-shirts and holding signs for Cardrop. The person asked me to please try to see what rate Cardrop would offer me and it was sure to be better than Carmax. I felt a little dirty going as i was going to get a counter offer from people darn near standing on the property of their competitor. But money is the bottom line so I went ahead and followed the directions from the person on how to get to CarDrop. When I entered it was a large room but empty except a couple of guys who were talking scheming thoughts on cars and things. After giving up my keys and waiting 20 minutes for the inspection the fella came up and said they could not match Carmax. After hearing that they would beat any rate I was a bit dejected. I had a very pleasant dealing with Car Drop this past week. I got a quote from Car Max, took my truck over to Car Drop with the quote, and had an offer of $400 more from them within 10-15 minutes. Car Drops quote is good for 10 days. Chris was the gentleman I dealt with, he was very professional. Terrible business. They don't know the proper way to buy a car from you. First they say one thing for the proper way to sell a car and next they change their mind and explain to you that it was ok before but it isn't now. What kind of foolish response is that? Friendly, Fast and Fair . My daughter came down for Easter week and bought a new car leaving me her old car to sell. A quick sale was more important than going through the hassle of selling myself . This past Saturday afternoon I visited CARMAX with title in hand . After a 45 minute wait while they inspected the car I was presented an offer somewhat below what I was willing to accept so I decided to return home and ponder my options. At the traffic light there were a couple of men carrying CARDROP signs which read "we buy cars" . I inquired and they directed me to an office one block to the east on Sample. There I was greeted by a very friendly staff, they asked if I had a CARMAX appraisal which I provided them . In less than 10 minutes they completed an inspection of my SUV and presented an offer which was $500 more than their competitor down the street and they would give an additional $100 if I would commit to sell the same day. Having title in hand I committed to sell immediately and received a check for the full amount I had hoped for. The staff went one step further and paid for an Uber to take me home. Your car had damage you were not aware of. Market is soft (we all know it is strongest it has been in 10 years). Update: My car was involved in a vehicle wreck in May of 2018 that resulted in the car being totaled out, yet I had my vehicle appraisal done by your company in April of 2018. With that being said, I am not too sure how the tow that you are referring to would show up on a Vehicle History Report before the date even takes place. HAPPY CUSTOMER HERE!! I sat in the waiting area reading the reviews and I have to say the 2 bad apples below must've went somewhere else. I was greeted immediately by a guy named Chris who then test drove my truck. Sam there was I think the owner or manager and he chatted with me briefly about my truck. They explained to me that the accident (that my son had been in) hurt the value of the truck. Carmax told me the same thing. NEVERTHELESS, Cardrop DID offer me more than their competitor and even admitted they cannot beat EVERY SINGLE OFFER that walks thru the door. pulling out of Pompano Beach Costco's parking lot I always see these car drop sign holders I think to myself, imagine if someone was doing this to my business? I would never support that. Then Wednesday, I stopped buy CarMax to get an appraisal on my 2006 Mercedes sl500 (78k miles) - $ 7000., the next day I called we pay the Max., the girl on the phone treated me like I was doing her the favor to call them, so I quickly judged them, rude, and took the sl to car drop. The dude ( best way to describe him) at the front asked me if I was ready to sell I said yes. He asked me for my name number the keys, then he asked me for the CarMax appraisal. Like that was normal. I couldn't decide if I liked how he got what he needed, or I would just go with it, I did. Here is some of the things he said to me: car max only appraises in increments of 500$, also they negotiate their prices, car max doesn't. I have sold cars to car max In the past. They offered me 7400 with another 100 bonus if I sign now. Really? Another shady closing technique. I told them I would take, ($8k) maybe be I could of asked for more? We did deal. Was quick and easy. So let's review, you have to ask your self morally, would you like to be the owner of this business?
