I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful company for transportation! From my initial conversation with Steve to the multiple locations I requested, they were impeccable! The drivers are punctual, they are nice and the vehicles are clean and well kept. They are flexible too. I have used a lot of transportation companies and I am sharing that Cardinal Transportation is amazing! I will absolutely use them again and encourage you, the reader, to do so too! Thank you Steve and our drivers Jerry, Sean and Earl! You all rock! read more

THIS is interesting... Cardinal Transportation. Cardinal.... Transportation..... car·di·nal - kärd()nl/, (phonetically.) The meaning? The bird? Random name grabbed from the air? The St. Louis MLB Team? The actual Crayola color (which isn't indicative of their color scheme)? Roman Catholic Church affiliate? UNLIKEY, right? THIS is the reason for the moniker, that I've concluded upon, which fits perfectly for an industrially dubbed "hospitality" type business. -CARDINAL- Which is: -ADJECTIVE- 'of the greatest importance; fundamental.' "Cardinal" is YOU. The customer. The occupant, The party/graduation party/wedding party. The passenger. The group. The dignitary. Whomever you may be, YOU are of "the greatest importance". -OR- the company itself is 'Cardinal', a term used VERY VERY loosely Scott/Kimberly/Kenny/random clueless woman (whom I called when my Sedan wasn't not just late, BUT NEVER SHOWED UP AT ALL, AFTER 11pm and 10 hours traveling to CMH from RNO, AND ALL I GOT WAS AN "I don't know"), am I right? (NOT asking for a friend.) tsk tsk, no need to tell me that I NAILED it. Now that's done, let's roll on the details, shall we? Actually, I was a chauffeur for a popular and widely known/used limo company in Carlsbad, CA. years back. I've chauffeured all walks of folk. I driven party buses, stretch limos, sedans & SUVs on a literally all over So Cal. Passengers such as BB King, a couple UFC stars, affluent people, average Joes, high schoolers, EVERYONE, whom I treated equally "CARDINAL". Never once late, never ever flat out just not show up. Especially when the ride is paid for in advance. The owner Mike (whom I drove for), was fair but firm, and it surely would have costed me my job then had I have the same sort of mix up that happened to me at John Glenn airport in the middle of the night from THIS Transportation Company. Visiting my mom, she lives 60 miles SE of Columbus. She just got released from her 3rd specialized nursing facility after having double bypass surgery stemming from a heart attack, so obviously I can't have a 76 year old woman driving an 1 1/2 hours in the middle of the night to pick me up. So, going off of Yelp reviews, & not wanting an Uber, I chose Cardinal. Started off with email, chose my vehicle, tell them my flight information, then confirmed via email, and double confirmed via phone call, complete with my credit card number. I have all the info to prove it. Arrival time, airline, flight number all in the queue. I step off the plane after 10 hours, claim my baggage & confident My chauffeur will actually show up, I gave it an extra 20 min. although they should have been standing there w/ a sign with my name on it at the baggage claim, which at that time was actually a red flag when I didn't see anyone. Tired, frustrated, I called Cardinals business line. A young woman answered the phone absolutely clueless pretty much everything. Upset and frustrated, I asked her if they were running late & she asked me for my name and flight information which I gave her. She then started stuttering & I could tell was nervous over the phone & tried reasoning with me after not finding my reservation that I had already given my credit card information for days prior. I then, asked her flat out "am I getting picked up tonight yes or no!?" She responded "well, i, I don't know" which, isn't a yes so it must be a no. So I gave them some choice words & hung up royally pissed off. As a result, I was forced to rent a hotel room that night near the airport, where if you read my other review about the adjacent hotel, you'll see how I was treated there. So I don't know if it's just in Ohio thing or what, but in addition to the room, I had to pay for a Luber or Lift or whatever that rideshare crap is the next morning to get breakfast in Gahanna, where, my very very physically limited mother wearing a life vest after a heart attack had to make the 2-hour drive to pick me up. I'm still getting pissed thinking back on that. I will say, that the owner ended up calling me 3 days later to apologize. Also saying that he didn't know what he could do to make it up, but at that point, I wouldn't trust them to show up anywhere anytime, especially after having my credit card information. So the best thing they could do for me was stay away. When you can't depend on someone ONCE, don't be stupid and give it a 2nd try. At that point, YOU are the one at fault. "Cardinal" transportation? More like Turkey Transportation, because that's EXACTLY how they made me feel, and made me look. read more

We made a reservation weeks in advance to pick up our daughters from a hotel to the airport transport for a 9am pick up. We were provided the name and contact information for their driver on Friday and 2 hours prior to the committed pick up. They should have sent that to their driver as she was not there at 9 and not responsive on her phone so I called the help line which was no help. 30 minutes later they cannot reach their own driver! If you do reserve a transport from Cardinal make sure you have plenty of time and you Only call between 8-5 Monday through Friday since that seems to be the only they may be able to assist. Horrible experience!!! read more

They totally messed up the order for my son's wedding leaving us completely embarrassed!

Slimey business practices. I made a reservation for transportation from my wedding in the summer of 2019. In the fine print, the details state a nonrefundable deposit of $100 per reservation, though our event required 2 vehicles. Upon cancellation, we were charged $100 per vehicle, not per reservation. What if I had asked for 10 vehicles and cancelled in plenty of time? I never would have "reserved" if I had known I would be on the hook per vehicle. I will never refer again read more

We use Cardinal Transportation for many of our after school field trips. They are prompt, professional, and very friendly. Specifically, Greg, has been our driver on two of our most recent trips and he is awesome! He is so great with the students and they love him! read more

We booked Cardinal Transportation for our wedding in September. They were super responsive and easy to work with, awesome rates + prime customer service. However, due to some issues with our hotel blocks we ended up not needing the service a month+ before the event. Although they didn't have to, as a non-refundable deposit is their policy, they were awesome and gave us the refund. Love when services take a potentially stressful situation and make them a non-issue.. ESPECIALLY when it comes to the stress of planning a wedding. Cheers! read more

I worked with Cardinal Transportation to arrange the getaway transportation for a couple's wedding on May 27th, 2017. They were easy to work with, competitively priced, and their service was high-end. The driver arrived promptly and helped us load the couple's things into the car. The vintage Rolls Royce was in wonderful condition and looked stunning for photographs. I was very impressed with their service and would recommend them to anyone looking for wedding transportation in Columbus. read more

Cardinal provided fantastic service for a family wedding we had traveling from Columbus to Atlanta. The driver Steve was polite, professional, and accommodated my family and family friends. I would recommend Cardinal for an extended trip. Also, we worked with Greg as the point of contact and he was prompt in his replies and also very easy to work with. read more

My friends and I rented a limo for a night on the town and we loved it. The limo was well appointed and our driver was professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them and plan to use their services again in the future. They were actually recommended to me by a friend who reported great, professional service. read more

This car service is extremely professional, and cheaper than a cab, ear out to Dublin! They were really nice, clean cars. The driver told me about their bus service as well, for special events. I will definitely call Cardinal every time I come back to Columbus! read more

I'm very happy to have found Cardinal Transportation. I found this car service and the driver to be extremely professional, helpful and a pleasure to ride with. They were on time and had a very smooth ride to the airport. The driver was very pleasant and professional. I will use this service for all my business travel every time I come to Ohio. Thank you very much! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I honestly can't believe they have customers. They were so rude to us after miscommunicating their policies. I'm warning everyone I know to avoid them at all costs. read more

We reserved a 14 seater van for my daughter's wedding -- just a mile from the ceremony to the reception, but we thought it would be a good idea to do 'continuous shuttle' for guests without cars. well, not so much. the van never showed up, left our guests stranded. evidently the driver "overslept"; we had to call three times, and finally somebody in the office told us they had sent out a larger but to pick up guests. that was at 6:45. by 7:15 still no bus, and guests ended up ordering Uber & doubling up in cars. so glad we ordered "Pedi-cabs" for the bridal party, so that at least the bride & groom were not stranded. we did NOT need this stress. the only good thing is that Cardinal was apologetic on Monday, and refunded our entire payment immediately. But based on this experience, I would not recommend them. read more

We were looking for two charter buses to take our wedding guests from Columbus to our venue outside the city. We chose Cardinal Transportation because all the buses looked new and had a/c. We were able to get seatbelts since we booked way ahead. Staff was very helpful and efficient over the phone arranging this. They also communicated well via email with various updates about arrival, pickup, etc. Bus drivers were very professional and on time. Buses were clean. I would enthusiastically recommend Cardinal Transportation. read more

I use this company for all my business and personal trips to/from the airport. They are consistent, punctual, and their drivers are all very professional. I highly recommend this company. read more

I have to say thank you to Cardinal Transportation for a timely and quick trip to the airport on Friday, October 13, 1017. I was leaving my nephew's wedding to make a flight out to NE for the OSU game to meet my husband. Of course when you are helping at a wedding there is always just one more thing to take care of. Even though I was trying to keep my eye on the clock it was easy to get lost in the celebration. The Cardinal driver, Steve, was there on time and was very professional about letting me say my good-byes. I so appreciate the lift. read more
