There are several places to get drinks, from a coffee shop to an Orange Julius, and there is crap you need galore! Truckers will love the twelve hundred feet or so of gear for their ride, with everything from bumpers to smokestacks. When we were there they were being used as a gas and checkpoint for The Great Race, which meant more classic cars than you can shake a stick at to check out. We must have been there at least an hour just checking everything out.

Didn't really look like they made many changes to the truck accessories area. The big rig on the turn table has always been a cool feature. Not a trucker so not sure how it rates from that perspective but from a passenger car perspective the variety of food options, the coffee bar area and the convenience portion is nice. Biggest issue is getting in and out of the parking area. Truckers and passenger cars all merging at the same light makes it crazy getting in and out.

We love all the Route 66 throwbacks and really hope they never change the Route 66-themed bathrooms or move the Mother Road show semi out front. It gives the whole place such a fun, nostalgic vibe you don't find at most travel centers. There are tons of food choices, a truck wash/tub, and even a barber on site which is pretty rare these days. In the South part of Joplin, not far from the highway, you will find a slightly more expensive Philips 66 with not that many pumps, and it's not my favourite. I only came here because I was getting a burger next door and I noticed that gas was much cheaper at the other Philips 66 a few miles away in Carthage - so I held out for that one. Thanks GasBuddy. Or GasGuru I think. I have gotten gas here once before and again it was slightly more than average that that's why I don't usually fill up here.

If you frequent Pete's, you may want to download their app to get the full benefits. They offer a large variety of cold beverages in the cooler section, snacks, fountain drinks, and much more. Their fuel is Phillips 66. They have regular fuel and offer diesel as well. There's an ATM available, too. It's nice that they open 24/7! Overall, a great place for fuel. We also get ice here frequently. Clean bathrooms are a bonus! Friendly staff.

My daughter said they tasted weird and when I looked at the time on them, they were supposed to have been pulled and thrown out at 3:55 PM. I took them back in the store. The cashier was super nice and took care of the problem. The kitchen was a mess. The lady in the kitchen snapped and said "I didn't do it". I told her it was her kitchen and her warmers. She then told the cashier "well, she shouldn't have bought them then". I then looked at the rest of the warmers and EVERYTHING was over due. The 3 pizzas were to be pulled by 5:51 PM and in the other warmer was a biscuit and gravy and a chicken sandwich both timed for 3:55 PM. It was 7PM. In the kitchen on the table where the pizzas are cut was piled with dirty pans. The kitchen was an absolute mess. This is the absolute worst I have been treated by a caseys.
