    Trucker shower
    Ken G.

Kind of like a mini "Iowa-80" version truck stop. Employees were friendly and helpful. No wait for showers even though there were tons of truckers there. Prices, unfortunately are "truck stop high" and border on the ludicrous. Overall better than the average truck stop with LOTS more choices.

Good solid truck stop. Large with plenty of amenities such as a hotel if you don't want to snooze a few hours in your car or are a trucker tired of your rigs cramped quarters. Nice clean showers for fair price for those who indulge in the truck stop life and know their way around a good truck stop. They also have an Iron Skillet restaurant serves a decent breakfast, lunch and dinner. A large gift shop with coffee and other beverage or snack choices. A nice large parking lot to park and crash in. A cop parked in the lot probably sleeping off a shift so it's a bit late of added security for free.

The biggest truck stop I've ever been to

The largest truck stop I've ever been in. Is it the largest? I'm sure someone knows. Let me know. The trucker's area is in the back part, but don't get it twisted, this isn't all about trucker supply. Yeah, they have customizable items as well as hard to find anywhere else floor mats and such, but there's also non truck related items to shop from. In the front, there is home decor. It's very strategically organized and displayed too. There is a section of country themed, another for nautical themed, you get the idea. There's something for everyone. The clothing was a bit too cowgirlish for my taste though. I'm not knocking the cowgirls though, I can rock my cowgirl boots too. I was there super early in the morning, and the most of the restaurants were closed so I can't comment on the restaurants, which includes: Iron Skillet, Caribou, Taco Bell & Pizza Hut, Blimpies, and Dairy Queen. My only complaint was the lack of grab and go food or drink options. They literally had less than any of the usual TAs or Pilot truck stops. I guess with the abundance of restaurants, they wouldn't sell the supplies like they need to? That's all that I can figure.

Not a freaking Blimpie that's for sure

This place is enormous and has several selections for food. But not a Blimpie! We stopped there because the highway sign AND their outside sign said Blimpie. I really didn't want any of the fast food choices, so I wound up with a cup of broccoli cheese soup that had a thick skin on top like it'd been there all day. Seems like it would have been tasty enough when it was fresh. Big selection of trucker supplies.

This has to be one, if not, the biggest Petro Truck Stop ever!! We were staying the night at the Sleep Inn next door and the key card gets you 20% off at the Iron Skillet here, so we had to walk over and oh my!! The Petro has everything a trucker could need, even to do shopping for birthdays or Christmas! We found purses, billfolds, watches, lots and lots of toys, signs, candles, snacks among all other great items. My son had to check out the truck seats and was in awe of the truck inside and there was an antique car that held biker things in the back. There was at least 2-3 fast food restaurants inside besides the Iron Skillet. I know we didn't see everything there, we would've been there over an hour or more. I'll have to let my hubby know of this place if he's ever truckin through Missouri again, if he doesn't already know..huge parking lot also!!

Wish I could leave a -5 I would!! terrible experience with Aaron, the Aaron the truck room manger, I ate dinner,it was fine, bought a New zippo plus fluid,in the convenience store lady was super nice, things went horrible in the truck show room, the management was, rude,I even asked him even if he got that how important customer service was, he was a young boy,and said no,it made me so upset I returned The Zippo collectors lighter, and wanted a full return. They've lost me as a regular customer for life, That's what's wrong with the young folks they think you owe them or there somehow that important that the little man Business isn't important enough to treat each customer as there number 1 Customer, In short I feel this place has grew too large, too have that great customer service,I'll simply order my stuff from another dealer.

Plenty of parking in a world of hard to find parking. It's very much a relief to know you'll likely get a safe parking spot here.

Prices are very competitive and they're all within a cent of each other, and inexpensive to boot. With the extra 10 cents off per gallon for being a Love's Rewards Member, Love's was an easy choice to fill up today. The station is easily accessible from the interstate and the pump area is wide enough for your larger vehicle. Inside, lots of grab-and-go food, a variety of rolled meats on the hot dog grill and options for hot and cold drinks. Restrooms are clean, too. Be sure you're giving way to those truckers. They might not see you and they don't stop quickly with those loaded trailers. [Review 1509 of 2025 - 481 in Missouri - 25060 overall]

It's a pain in the butt because you do have to get off the highway and drive for a few minutes. But now it's even worse . It's not this place's fault specifically. It's the construction. To get off the freeway and to get to the gas station took 25 minutes. And to get back on the freeway, took an additional 20 minutes. My husband was very upset. Pros: this has been a very trusted stop for many years. But I don't think we'll be coming back here ever again.

Why does Pilot deserve five stars, you ask? After numerous treks back and forth to Oklahoma, here…read moreare a few reasons why I always stop: 1) This is one of the last or first stops (depending which way your are headed) before/after Oklahoma's abominable turnpike. If you are driving west, this is a great place to hit up since your options are limited for quite a few miles into OK. 2) This Pilot is busy. No matter what time at night or early morning, there are always a lot of people around and as safe as any place you will find. I have actually slept in my car here when I was super tired and couldn't make it all the way home w/o a little rest. 3) It is clean, appears well kept and has an adjoining full sized Wendy's. Aw...how I love Wendy's. :( I have driven all over the country (mostly by myself) and having a consistent, clean place to stop makes travelling and planning stops - easy!

I was not near the door, but was walking talking to my girl. This truck driver approached me and said that I should thank him for opening the door for me. I was puzzled. I figured out what happened later. He was trying to stir up something with me. He thought that I was white. I'm not, but light, tan mix of Arabic and 1/4 African black. My girl's picture appears on my phone and she's half French and black, but has more clearly west African features. Most American blacks are really awesome people and I have the utmost admiration of their struggles and triumph in spite of the obstacles they have faced. But this truck driver was a classic hood rodent who should be incarcerated (I'm sure that he has been incarcerated several times. ) I felt really sorry for him, because I knew that he didn't have a father and his mother was, more than likely, a street walker or crack addict. His English was horrible and this may have been due to bad or absent parents. It was scary when it happened, because I could see him going primate over minor things. When you encounter these hood rodents, realize that their parents were to blame for their son's formative years. Don't judge him. He may act very animal and savage-like, but he is a human being. I pray to Allah to help and change him from a savage animal void of any brain to a productive citizen. The moral of the story is to be careful with hood rodents. Realize that they're human(Even though they don't act it.). Pray to Allah or your god for him/her to change.
