I texted back & forth with them and although the bartender was not there they continued to say she was. Sent pictures of the empty bar. She was seemingly drunk, totally unorganized when she finally walked in and was already running behind before the guests came into the reception from the wedding. She could not seem to make a drink in a timely fashion to save her life. She asked my son's friends to cover the bar while she went to restroom then we see her outside vaping and eating a sandwich. We fired her and my son's friends had to bartend the rest of the night. She was there 2 hours tops and we were only refunded $128 out of the $2,100 we paid. Run do not walk away from this business. If I had even lower stars and 1 I would give them that. TERRIBLE.

Nothing was prepared for cocktails, no lemons, limes, strawberries, or fresh mint. No beer or white wine was placed on ice, despite me purchasing the ice and coolers specifically for that purpose. When I arrived at 6:50 PM, the beer and white wine were still warm in boxes. Despite the company claiming staff arrived on time, the venue staff and event witnesses observed otherwise. The experience was so disorganized that this company is no longer allowed to work at this venue.

I'll grant that our venue was somewhat difficult (an elevator and 2 flights of stairs) but I told the company that ahead of time. The transgressions: First, we had put out a jar that said "Honeymoon Fund. You are our guest and we will tip the bartender on your behalf, no tips necessary." The bartender pushed it aside and put out her own tip jar. Not cool. When my husband told her we didn't want the tip jar out she kept the (decent amount of money, it had been out for an hour) that was in it and proceeded to argue with him. Eventually the tip jar went behind the bar but you don't expect to argue with a bartender at your wedding. Next, she complained to several of our guests about what a pain the venue was. So sorry lady, things my guests shouldn't have to hear about. Plus, we paid you. It's not like you're pouring wine out of the kindness of your heart. Further, she didn't have to carry or even do that much. We had brought all the alcohol up in advance. Next, (yes, it keeps going) she disappeared multiple times during the night. It's cool, people will just help themselves to the wine. Next, at the end of the night she continued to complain to our wedding party and told them to carry the empty wine bottles out to the recycling. It wasn't her job, she told them. Finally, and probably most egregiously, after she kept the first hours tips AND we tipped her out at the end of the night (as well as let her keep some of the extra beer) she told her company that we didn't tip her and that we would tip her using the visa card on file. Thankfully they called to check with me before charging but it's pretty insane to get terrible service and then get an urgent sounding phone message from With a Twist only to have them ask for more money for a tip. Totally insane. Look, maybe other bartenders that work for this company are fine and maybe they shouldn't have sent a solo woman bar tender to a venue with lots of stairs but that shouldn't have been my problem. Impressively disappointing.

I have used this company many times over the past 10 years and always had good experiences. I do believe they are capable of providing good service and they are working to rectify the problem with their system. Original review: Horrific experience with a company I've worked with before. It's not impossible their whole company has been hacked by a vacant storefront pretending to be Bartenders and More. They charged $600 up front for a bartender and waitress for a minimum of 4 hours each. They sent one person who worked for two hours and then walked out without saying a word to anyone. They accused me of mistreating the second person, Dana, who I never never met, who never showed up at my event despite my goodwill advance payment. Saving our beer from being room temperature for our guests. The two of them managed the bar for all our 160 guests and there was never a huge line or bottleneck. They were super popular with our guests and I think a number of them wish they lived closer to Denver so they could hang out .
