When you start reading reviews for IVF clinics--especially larger ones like Boston IVF--you'll see…read moreeverything from glowing five stars to stories of heartbreak. After going through it myself, I've learned that it's not really about the clinic itself. It's 100% about the team you work with. And if you're lucky enough to work with Dr. Emily Seidler and her incredible team then you've found the gold standard. We had a really difficult start at Boston IVF and came close to switching clinics entirely. The care we first received was impersonal and left us feeling completely lost. At first, we thought we could tolerate that if it got results--but over time, we realized our specific needs, questions, and goals weren't even being considered. The doctor was focused on what they assumed we wanted, rather than actually listening and working with us to maximize our outcomes. And then we met Dr. Seidler--and everything changed. Dr. Seidler is one of those incredibly rare people who is both deeply brilliant and genuinely kind. She doesn't just follow a set protocol--she pays attention. And I mean, really pays attention. When I did my first egg retrieval under a different doctor, we ended up with 7 eggs--and a massive insurance headache. We felt completely failed by the system. Then we met Dr. Seidler. She took the time to understand us--our goals, our history, our insurance limitations--and helped us make smart, thoughtful decisions that were truly in our best interest. Under her care, my next retrieval produced 22 eggs. That wasn't luck--that was her tracking how my body was responding and adjusting the protocol with care and precision. She stayed engaged, curious, and genuinely invested. She noticed things. She remembered things. She made us feel like we actually mattered--not just as patients, but as people. That kind of brilliance and humanity in one person? It's honestly a unicorn-level combo. And then there's Robin and Nikki, the two amazing nurses who make up the rest of this dream team. These women are absolute rocks. IVF is emotional, confusing, and full of logistical twists and turns, and they helped us navigate all of it with so much grace, clarity, and PATIENCE. They fielded every voicemail, email, and question (and yes, I had many!), and always responded with such kindness and patience, like I wasn't being overwhelming--even when I 100% was. Their kindness didn't come from a script--it came from presence. From actual care. And you can feel the difference. Thanks to this team, I felt supported, seen, and in incredibly capable hands at every stage. Their combination of expertise, compassion, and steadiness helped me stay grounded through a process that is anything but predictable. They didn't just guide me through treatment--they held me through it, with so much heart. And now, after three egg retrievals and three embryo transfers, I'm sitting here, 20 weeks pregnant, feeling this little baby kicking (!!) as I type--and the gratitude I feel is hard to put into words. I know I will carry this team's impact with me for the rest of my life. Dr. Seidler, Robin, and Nikki didn't just help us get here--they gave us the gift of feeling truly cared for in the most vulnerable moments. I will never forget what they've done for our family. If you're wondering whether Boston IVF is right for you--my honest advice is this: don't just look at the clinic, look at who you'll be working with. The right team makes all the difference. And with Dr. Seidler and her team, you'll be in the best possible hands. Their care changed everything for us.

In my experience she has been caring, compassionate, and always responsive to my needs as a patient. I was diagnosed with stage 3 Endometriosis and following laparoscopic surgery performed at BIDMC I was able to get pregnant from one IVF cycle with a fresh embryo transfer. My wife and I are overjoyed that following a long wait for surgery due to COVID-19 I was able to get pregnant so quickly. Thank you Dr. Seidler!

I never usually write reviews good or bad however this time I need to…read more I am a type I diabetic. I currently go to Core endocrinology to manage my diabetes. I have been a patient of theirs for almost 1.5years. Before that I lived in a different state. Unfortunately the access to care at this office is terrible. If you get an appointment it in 6 months out. I have seen this doctor once as it has been impossible to schedule a time and day. I have Mondays and Tuesdays off. I made an appointment 4 months out as this was the only opening after my initial visit. Most endocrinologists prefer to see there patients 1x every 3 months. I unfortunately missed the appointment due to being in the ER with my 3 year old as she had broken her arm. I rescheduled for the following week thankfully they had a cancelation. My 3 year old saw her primary care physician for a physical where there had been a nodule behind her ear that had been noted at this appointment. Dr.Lamb her physician highly recommended her see an ENT Dr.Peck immediately. we saw Dr.Peck and he strongly suggested we operate to remove this unknown type of nodule. Being a parent its scary to have any issue with your kids. Fight or flight in me happened and I told him to schedule the surgery at the next available opening. happened to be the following Monday that I had a 1pm Dr.Mini appointment. I didn't even remember I had the appointment until I received the voicemail. No granted I know I not the best patient and have canceled appointments or may have not shown up and I will be the first to apologize first and for most. I received a letter from Dr.Mini's office stating they are going to dismiss me as a patient if I don't reschedule and or miss another appointment. So I called to make an appointment. This appointment happened to be 4 months away I took it. Now at this point my prescriptions for my insulin pump have expired. I called Dr.Mini's office and they said no problem we will send the script into Medtronic mini med. Medtronic mini med never received the script and had been trying on several occasions to conact Dr.Mini's office and all attempts were unsuccessful as there lines are either always busy or your on hold for at least 30 min at a time. I contacted Dr.Mini's office yesterday the receptionist said they sent the script. Called Medtronic mini med again and they said they have received nothing and will try to fax them a letter in hopes they will respond. Dr.Mini's office called me this morning stating they refuse to fill any scripts until Im seen. I had an appointment sched in 2 months due to them having no openings. She said that I need to be seen before they can write me any scripts and told me they have and opening on Monday at 1. I am working every day next week covering a Monday Tuesday shift for a fellow coworker so I cant make this appointment as it would be unprofessional to not show up to work on a day I promised id be there not to mention its in 2 days following the weekend. She gave me an appointment for 2 weeks from now. I asked what will I do for prescriptions? I cant survive with the supplies needed for my insulin pump. she said there's nothing we can do as it is in there policy to not write scripts if the patient hasn't been seen in a year. I totally get that I haven't been in a year and im sorry that life happens and I couldn't make this up if I tried. So I needed to reschedule my day Monday the day I needed to work to accommodate me not dyeing due to Dr.Mini Mahatas office not allowing me the proper prescriptions to survive at least until I could get into there office. I am so displeased and unhappy.

She treats me with respect and encouragement and as such keeps me honest. I am one to switch physicians if I do not find them to be respectful and highly knowledgeable. Dr. Taylor is both. The office staff is wonderful and the nurses very thorough. Communication and getting RX refills and concerns addressed have never been a problem. Highly recommend!

Their meal plan had me eating 263 grams of carbs. Of course my blood sugar would be high if I consume that many carbs a day. While I was sitting there with the nutritionist I got a phone call from my pharmacy they had already called in insulin to my pharmacist before I was even done with my appointment. I think they are a big fraud and I believe that they are targeting state insured patients to collect insurance money from the state. I monitored my blood sugars throughout my whole pregnancy and not one of them was high they were all way under or normal. Not once did I have one that was high. And they kept telling me my son was going to be huge. He was born 7 pounds even and 18 inches long. I only put on 16 pounds throughout my whole pregnancy. The Doctor kept sending me for ultrasound after ultrasound telling me that my baby was "measuring huge". While my midwife was measuring me normal. Then the ultrasound tech would tell me my baby was a normal size. If I were you and I was on state insurance I would monitor your blood sugars for more than a week before you inject yourself. Obviously if they are super high I would do what they said but I would definitely keep an eye on it. Good luck with them.

I have found that the Dr's who run behind are usually the ones who give the patient the time they need. There are Dr's who also are behind and rush you out without a proper visit. I saw Dr McLaughlin about 5-6 yrs ago and I was having a very difficult time finding the cause of my extreme distress and she treated me better than most Dr's. She did an adrenal stimulation test 4 me that confirmed I low levels and poor response when the body needs it. She even monitored other hormone levels I was using replacement therapy for and when I had missed a few doses not thinking it would make a difference so quickly the Dr sent me a message informing me I dropped below and needed to not miss any doses. I spent yrs looking for help prior to this and a PCP told me it was just anxiety and got mad when I told him it is much more than anxiety. He put in my Records that I refused to accept his diagnosis that it was depression / anxiety and that's what Drs saw every time I sought help. I had reached desperation and went to the ER and the resident Dr was asking me all kinds of ?s looking for an answer until the head Dr came in and said he has a history of this and won't treat his depression anxiety and told me to leave. I was very lucky to have found an outside doctor Dr Bingham who at times spent over an hour w me. He found I had toxic levels of copper in me, that I had complex sleep apnea both kinds, found I had the lowest Testosterone levels he had ever seen, serious gut issues and an infection caused by antibiotics killing off all the good stuff resulting in C-Diff infection that can be life threatening, and other issues. Unfortunately he Retired. My currant PCP told me Testosterone was only for married men having trouble getting their wives pregnant. Saw him 2 weeks after the ER visit and he had already decided he was going to start antidepressants and when I tried to explain it was much more than that I got no help after barely 15min w him his nurse poked her head in and said next patient is waiting so that was that only to find out later he charged my insurance and sent me a Bill for 3 Hundred dollars claiming I owed for 2 visits because we didn't finish on time. What can you do in 15 minutes w a Dr after my temp and blood pressure were taken she said the Dr will be right in as I sat there for 10 more min. He must charge 300.00 for 30min and 600.00 for mine w no help. It really is a battle trying to get help. Good Luck to All looking for help.

Recently he prescribed me a medication that required a Prior Authorization but my insurance denied it. Definitely not his fault but when I reached out asking for additional help trying to find an alternative I was made to feel like I was a). bothersome and b). crazy for being so persistent. After several conversations with my insurance company they told me I would be approved for the SAME medication that was under a different name and would not need a Prior Auth for it. When I reached out to Metabolic Leader I was rebuffed and in the rudest way. Dr. Babirak called me from his car and refused to call in the alternate medication, he argued with me and said that either me or my insurance company was lying about getting approved and when I asked if he could just try and put it through to my pharmacy he said NO very abruptly and hung up on me. Who treats someone like that? It was uncaring and he made me feel like I was crazy. Truly unprofessional and I can see from the other reviews here it is not just me. I spoke with my PCP shortly afterward, a very kind and compassionate man, and he offered to try and put the medication through and imagine this... it was approved! I was able to pick it up and begin it within a matter of a day. Thank you for making me feel terrible about myself Dr. Babirak.
