Downstairs you'd find newspapers, magazines, books and stationary and upstairs was the entertainment section offering records and videos (when I first started shopping there) and more latterly cds, dvds and computer games. However upstairs has now been closed off and there's no longer an entertainment section, which was always the big attraction for me. Downstairs hasn't changed much but I generally buy books from Asda these days as they tend to be cheaper and I also tend to buy stationary from the Works or Home Bargains for the same reason.

The big but is that I recently found severely reduced price webcams here, Microsoft Lifecam VX-3000 for £2.99 each. I bought both of the ones they had left, and was very pleased to discover later that they (as of the time of this review) cost £9.99+ new/refurbished on eBay. There are some great bargains to be found here ocassionally, so make the most of it.

There are plenty of reduced price books of all descriptions as well as a selection of cds, dvds, stationary and arts and crafts materials. You won't find any recent releases but I often dig out a bargain. They also from time to time stock slightly random items, at the time of writing for example they've got a wide selection of flower and vegetable seeds. Not what you'd expect to find in a bookshop but very competetively priced none the less.

The assistant said they had no fake blood but they had plenty of real blood stocked up in the back. I was a bit confused but figured real blood must be better than fake blood so i followed her into the back to go and get it. In the back it was dark and she pulled on a clown mask and started cackling at me. I was terrified. She grabbed a chainsaw out of nowhere and started sawing off my arms. I screamed as blood poured out of my limbs. I fell to the ground crying. She pulled off her mask and pleaded, 'oh no, it's just a prank!'. She helped me up and I left the shop warning her that I was going to leave a bad review on yelp. I currently have no arms so I'm getting my dog to type this down for me. I don't like clowns.
