Wow wow wow, I've seen Cara for a few years now and was so excited when her studio opened up around the corner from my job. The last two times I've seen Madison, she is so sweet, she gave me the most pampering facial. She brings such calm energy, is knowledgeable, and the face massage and after glow was 10/10. I'm trying to take to incorporate more skin self care and and happy I found my facial home. I love all the products they use and plus Cara has added a little gift shop section where I've found good gift goodies for friends. Love Cara and Madison! read more

I had a facial today with Madison and it was nothing short of amazing. I am 38 weeks pregnant and it was the most relaxing and soothing experience from the second I walked in the door. Madison was so calming, knowledgeable and took her time and I kept thinking to myself, wow she is going above and beyond. Not only did I get facial and derma-plane, she massaged my arms and shoulders, and gave me a scalp massage while the products were setting on my face. I walked out feeling like the quality of my skin had immediately improved, and it is 100 percent worth it for you, or for a gift for a family member. Finding ways to stay in business during these times is challenging enough. I have purchased Cara's "go to" packaged facial bags and it was a huge uplift not only for my skin but for my happiness. She's literally a glimmer of hope and it inspired me to make my next appointment as soon as this quarantine was over. Scheduled a facial with Cara and it was the most safest I had ever felt with a local Esthetician. Protocols + sanitation over exceeded my expectations not to mention feeling relaxed and beautiful! She send you home with some extra goodies after and makes sure you feel your best before leaving. She has a nice touch (pun intended). I also scheduled a makeup session for my photoshoot and it turned out amazing with her glam team. She is the best no questions asked. A true Entrepreneur who is adaptable and it shows because this isn't just a hobby to her. This is her passion! Cara is a sweet soul and honest human being, you wont regret any session you have to achieve your beauty goals! WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND read more

Two words: Magic fingers I feel so relaxed after my facial! Everything smelled amazing and my skin feels wonderful read more

This place is like a mini oasis. I instantly felt relaxed walking into Cara's space. Everything is beautifully decorated, very clean, and instantly transports you into a spa with its' hard wood floors, white wash decor, candles, comfy pillows, gentle music, and beautiful lighting. I did a facial with Cara and was really impressed with the professional quality of her products and her attention to detail throughout the facial. She also knows a ton about skin care and has deep knowledge about best practices and products. She made sure to prep me when she was about to apply something that might start to tingle (which it barely did and was totally fine), but regardless the fact that she even worried about this just shows her level of customer service & care for her clients. She also was very gentle and applied a rejuvenating massage to my face. Throughout the facial, she also had a machine that gently applied steam to open up my pores. There were various stages throughout the process that involved exfoliation, extraction, a mask, and then finishing products like moisturizers. Overall, the whole experience was heaven. I highly recommend Cara's services. The space itself, her products, and her customer service all made it a wonderful treat for myself. I'm already booking another session with Cara for myself and my boyfriend. read more

My first time with Cara was for a peel back in Nov 2020. When I got there, everything was clean and sanitized and she was ready for me. She is the sweetest and very knowledgeable. Cara explained every step and what should I expect afterwards. She also followed up with me a few days later and recommended some products for my skin. I loved my experience with Cara and will definitely be going back. Support local! read more

Cara is one of my absolute favorite people! I met her a few months before my wedding for a facial, which ended up being the best facial I've ever had. She mentioned she did wedding makeup so after a terrible trial elsewhere, Cara came to my house and I loved her work. My husband was very concerned that I would go overboard and not look like myself. That was not the case with Cara. She follows your lead but also gives her honest and professional opinion. Not to mention, she is just so easy to talk to and knows her skincare! Fast forward to a few months AFTER my wedding, I found out Cara was opening her own space and I couldn't be more thrilled and supportive of her. When I go in for a facial, it's such a treat. From the moment you walk in, she is always welcoming with a big hug. The bed is so comfortable and her hands are magic. Her products are all top notch. Do yourself a big service and go see Cara for all your skincare needs. read more

CARA Studios - Final touches on the wedding day - Skin Care Near Me - San Diego, California

Cara is the best. I've been struggling with adult acne around jawline and neck since I moved to San Diego 2 years ago, and I decided to give it a try with Cara when I found her. And it's been working fabulous! Obviously skin doesn't improve overnight, but gradually it's gotten better. I still don't have perfect skin (little bumps due to clogged pores) but I try to go see her monthly, or sometimes every 3 weeks, and every time my skin feels so smooth! The best part is that it is her own business and she is very attentive. If I have any question before or after treatments, she is always there to help. Every treatment is customized based on my skin condition. I've also brought my husband few times as his skin is sun damaged from surfing, and he loves it, too! read more
