Fab crêperie in the centre of one of my favourite seaside towns in the West of France…read more
We went in at about 3pm to book a table for 6pm and the service was instantly welcoming, friendly and attentive. No strange looks were given at my simple yet well spoken French, all was understood, written down and repeated to me before we left to enjoy the rest of our afternoon on the beach.
We were greeted with smiles upon our return and were seated straight away with complimentary nibbles. Our waiter was a gem, he brought small glasses for the children (Asterix glasses at that!) and the food came in good time, was hot and tasty!
I had a goats cheese crepe with a lovely side salad and a share of tasty frites which complemented the crepe perfectly. Was enough to satisfy my hunger, not too much, not too little. Our children had simple cheese crepes and egg crepes (they preferred the egg) and some frites. Our other adults had moule frites which they said were lovely and the portion size was perfect.
Two adults stayed for an icecream dessert which they said was better than the icecream in the parlour around the corner. Will try the sweet crepes on our next visit
