Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience - I Would Not Recommend Cartime Inc. or Its Sister Companies (Like Amigos Auto Mall) I had one of the worst car buying experiences at Cartime Inc., and I feel compelled to warn others about this dealership and its sister companies, like Amigos Auto Mall. Their lack of ethics, incompetence, and failure to do the right thing when no one is looking make them unworthy of your time and business. My ordeal began with poor communication and scheduling. I arrived at 5 pm after being told my car would be ready by 2 pm. The car was not washed, had no gas, and wasn't ready. I had taken time off work for this, only to be left waiting. I was promised a "detailed" car, but when I showed up on Sunday, no one knew about my appointment. They were short-staffed, and I was rescheduled to Monday. When I went to the sister dealership, Los Amigos, no one knew why I was there. Instead of a detail, they did a basic car wash. This was not the service I was promised. On top of that, I had already submitted all necessary documentation, including pay stubs, but Amir (the salesperson) told me to resubmit everything again. Despite submitting my paperwork to both their main email and Manager Roger's email, the dealership still couldn't get it together, leaving me to work with the finance company directly. Then came the payoff for my vehicle trade-in. Roger and Josue told me the check was mailed and would arrive by 2/25/25. When it didn't arrive, I asked for tracking, and Josue told me he was "looking for it." Eventually, I was told to contact Angelica, who informed me that no check had been mailed at all because she had not received any request or information to submit the payoff. This is when the entire process fell apart completely due to the lack of communication between the dealership and its staff. The worst part came when Mark, the General Manager, assured me he would overnight the check. Despite his promises, the check missed the FedEx cutoff, leading to a charge-off on my account. This was absolutely devastating for me, as I am recovering from open-heart surgery and was laid off from my tech job. This financial issue was the last thing I needed during such a challenging time. The stress and hardship this caused me is beyond over whelming and debilitating for me, and it felt like Cartime Inc. and its team couldn't care less about the real-life consequences of their negligence. Cartime Inc. and its sister companies are in urgent need of process improvement. They need to enact proper system procedures, hire a quality control manager, and build a diligent team that puts the company's overall goals and mission first to ensure a seamless and positive experience for customers. When I was 18 I put 5k down on a 2019 car with less than 70k miles, after a month of having the car check engine light came on. I returned to the dealership and they said they sold the car as is so any problems I encounter was up to me. After a year of paying 600$ a month at a 27% interest rate I forfeited the car because it was more of a burden than an asset. this will undoubtedly be the most frustrating car-buying experience I have ever encountered. I was working with Mohammad regarding a vehicle I was interested in purchasing. I completed a credit application for that specific vehicle and was approved. They initially offered a $4,000 down payment for a $9,000 car. However, subsequent offers reduced the down payment to $1,000 and then to $1,500. It appears there was a miscommunication. Each time I contacted them, I had to reiterate the vehicle details, Furthermore the credit application I filled out for that particular vehicle they indicated that a customer had rented the vehicle for a few days. I questioned why a vehicles for sale since the renter would be adding miles to the vehicle, its value would decrease. However, they refused to negotiate a lower price upon the vehicle's return. Mohammad informed me that the vehicle would be returned today, and I would return to the dealership. However, when I contacted him, he denied the vehicle's availability until next week. I decided to visit their other location on Lincoln and San Carlos, but no one was present. I knocked on the door, but no one answered. Despite an open sign, I wanted to inspect another vehicle as an alternative option, considering that they may be loaning out vehicles to customers for rental. Unfortunately, I was unable to receive assistance. I attempted to contact them via phone, but no one answered. Consequently, I have decided to take my business elsewhere, it's like I'm working with 1 sales rep, but then I get 5 different sales rep calling me for the same vehicle that's not even there because they rented it out, prior to that they said the vehicle was at the other location so I went to go check it out. They said no they rented it out ,This experience serves as a warning to potential buyers: be cautious when purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. They rent out vehicles, and the descriptions on their website may not accurately reflect the actual miles and condition of the vehicles. Additionally, customers may experience extended waiting periods before receiving assistance, Mohammad really needs to improve with his customer service because that's how you lose people, I referred people there to buy recently that in the market on buying but I'm gonna revert to them and let them know about this bad experience, so not only losing me as a buyer. Horrible service and unprofessional. They do the registration services for another dealership but obviously need some help since they provided my registration but no plates. My temporary plates expired and it took THREE weeks of non stop messaging and calling for someone to finally admit they hadn't ordered them and would be submitting the request. Three more weeks of waiting and when I call to ask for an update, I was just given attitude and treated like I was bothering them. Do not use this place! They added an extended warranty on my contract that I didn't ask for and gave me a car that had multiple issues that they next fixed. EverytimeI went back to get this issue resolved I was told that Sam was not there and that he would call back. I have not received any resolution in 4 months. I have been there multiple times to speak with Neda and she says the same thing someone will call you back. The car had no oil in it and broken lights. They treat their customers so poorly. They sold me a lemon car, he promise me that his mechanic (Jose Torres)was going to fix the car(check engine always comes and goes) and they been "trying to fix it since October I paid 8000 cash for a piece of crap, I took it to another mechanic he told me that they been just resetting the check engine light that's why it appears a few days after they "fix it " I told them to gave me my money back or switch me to a different car and he refused, he told me that he was going to fix it no matter what but I think they just bs me until I get tired or something. Communication with Sima was quite good. And they were generally good from a customer service perspective. My issue is in not disclosing all the issues with the car big and small. First, the photos from the craigslist ad did not show any of the defects in the car. (Broken side mirror housing. Bent passenger front fender. Driver door panel loose. Dent in rear driver quarter panel. I didn't expect a perfect car, but I do expect transparency. Perhaps too much to ask from a used car dealer.) Second, it's clear to me now that the car has had other problems that for whatever reason didn't show up in the car fax. For example, the steering wheel has been confirmed by the dealer to be after market. And also they have confirmed that the front fender issue was likely because it got hit and that's why it no longer lines up with the fender liner. In any case, fishy at best. One last thing, they made a mistake with the paperwork resulting in me not getting my plates so I had to make a visit to the DMV. Not the most fun way to spend a morning. read more

Third, Sima (I actually call her Aunt Sima now) gave me all the breakdown via Carfax of other competitors price of MB C-300. She explained it thoroughly. Fourth, the owner Sam gave me a fair price for my car, he is very nice. Detailed my car, fill up the gas, and removed the tint of the car for free (which is $150 outside). Oh, and that was night time already and I remember I was so cold and Sima even offered her jacket 3 times, she is so sweet.
