Asked about extra fees prior to arrival- they told me $996 dealer fee When you get there, if you're interested in purchasing a car, there is a mandatory $3,000 warranty you must purchase in addition to the listed car price. Not to mention the $600 delivery fee (car isn't being delivered anywhere), $996 dealer fee, and the $400 fee for them to prepare the financing for you. I told them I've already been approved for a car loan from my bank, so I can save the $400 finance preparing fee; he told me that if I use my own bank, they charge a $500 fee, lol. They're so incredibly bad,, it's comical at this point. Just list the cars for the price you want to sell them for instead of being so shady. You'd get more customers. No one wants to feel like they are being scammed by arbitrary fees. read more

I called the dealership owner to advise him of the issue and he told me to get the truck towed to a shop. I called the shop and spoke with Anthony, who was extremely professional from the get go. We came in the next day to look at the car. The treatment was no different...the vibe either, and we're very skeptical when it comes to car shopping, as I'm sure many are. He showed us the car and some others like it. The shop was clean & neat. He was very polite & knowledgeable. He sat with us, spoke about pricing and the warranty program. Never did we feel rushed or pressured. A couple of days later, we bought the car and took it home. We are really happy with this purchase. It is a great car, for a great value and in great condition. Definitely consider coming here. These guys definitely pray on the week I bought a car from them in September I was 17 days late on my first car payment I walked out of work one day and my car was gone apparently they bought the car back from the finance company without my knowledge. Apparently he tried to buy back my car 2 other time but the check was returned do to insufficient funds. He claims he doesn't need my money I put down a $6200 deposit to drive a car for one month and for him to buy it back sneakily so he could resell it? so he got my $6200 deposit plus he's going to get whatever he sells MY car for!! Okay Anthony you're buggin.. Then when I asked about the deposit he said oh there's sales tax (ok let's just say he was being honest about the tax it's only $1300) my deposit was $6200 seriously bro? Then I needed to get my belongings out the car and for some reason Anthony got my belongings which is totally illegal he wrongfully took all my stuff out of my car not supposed to do that that's my place to get my stuff after I receive a letter stating where and when (which I never did receive any letter) My rent money was in the car which of course was missing, my contract I had with them (what a coincidence) my registration and my license plates.. then my credit was ran about five different times the same day that they took my car huh? These assholes are shady AF & definitely robbed me blind. I brought an 06 scion tc relase series from these guys back in 2012. I was very young at the time so i really didn't do my research on financing and dealing with car salesmen. Anyway the car was marked up 6k. At the time i signed off, i had to pay about 15k. Not knowing what i got myself into, i signed off on it. Only positive from this that i could take out pretty much is establishing credit. These guys a sharks and crooks!! They pray on the week becareful. I had a similar experience as the above poster. Emailed with the owner a bit and was invited to come down to check out an '06 Honda CR-V. Drove 5+ hours from Boston on a Sunday as their website indicated they were open 7 days a week, and even called the place ahead of time to verify the car was there. When I arrived, I was told "Oh, there's no test-drives on Sundays" (something ALSO not mentioned on their website). I turned to walk out the door and the guy said "Well, maybe I can let you drive it up and down the cul-de-sac for a minute, but no freeway". A poor compromise, but whatever. Took the 500-foot 'test drive', the car ran fine, and I went in to make an offer on the car. Since the website price was asking about $800 more than KBB for a car that was most definitely not in 'excellent' condition (pitting on the hood, and a big ol' paint chunk taken out front and center, none of which were on the photos of the car on the website which makes me suspect either damage at a later date or blatant Photoshoppery) I made an offer taking that into account and was told "Oh sorry, the prices listed on our website are our invoice prices and we won't go below that. Furthermore, since we have to make money, that price doesn't include a mandatory $2000 upcharge that gives you a (nebulous) warranty (of sketchy provenance). You can negotiate anywhere in that $2000 window, but we won't go below the price on the website. Didn't you read the fine print?" (The fine print, for the record, included phrases like 'Make us an offer we can't refuse!', no mention of 'we won't go below the listed price') Needless to say, I laughed at the guy and walked out. At least the drive to and from NY was pleasant. Bought a 2014 Mazda CX-5 the next day (black, standard transmission. Giggity!), been happy with it ever since. It may also be worth mentioning that the owner's name is Anthony Oddo, and the 'filtered' review is from an "Anthony O" in Deer Park, NY. They'll refuse to allow you to test drive the car because they know that it would only be a waste of time. Their bait-and-switch pricing method allows them to swindle customers with absurdly low advertised vehicles. They force you to buy a warranty alongside the internet pricing with an additional $1,400 tacked on so they can "ensure that they make a profit." Bought a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander. Got scammed by Anthony Oddo. Car internet price was $9990. But had to buy extended warranty or the price would go up. I wasn't sure I could swing the price so asked if I could do a monthly payment which they agreed to. I was working on assumption that we were on same page on price of vehicle. They wiggled their way out of showing the hard numbers and I didn't push hard enough. It wasn't until day after the final sale went through that I saw the extended warranty had the correct sale price but the purchase agreement was $10950 over $1005 more. Any positive reviews you see about this place were probably written by the owner himself (as seen on their Google business page - BUSTED!) or one of their employees. It took them days to get back to me on a trade-in value for my 16-month old car, only for them to call me asking me which kind of car I had because they "forgot". When they finally got the information they needed for the 2nd time, they called me back again to give me some ridiculous trade-in value. Not to mention they wanted me to pay a crazy amount for a 6-year-old car, which I found out afterward was the price for a brand new 2014 from a REAL dealership! My family and I went to the dealership to look at a truck that we had seen on Cars.com. Pulled up and immediately turned off but the filthy lobby and waiting room. Run down, ripped chairs, bathroom was a mess and garbage was overflowing. The salesman was a mess, long filthy nails, zero personality. We saw the truck we had come to see... truck was beautiful and in great condition. We gave very specific details about our credit history and that our budget was to be kept under $525 a month. Salesman said he was optimistic that this would work. Left a $50 deposit that he told us was not refundable as long as we are approved. So, if we change our mind - we lose the deposit. Obviously, the intention was to get the car - and since he was optimistic about our budget and credit - we went ahead without hesitation. 24 hours later - salesman calls... good news, I worked all day to get you an approval - I said great. He said b/c of your credit it was a little more money than we estimated. He came back at $155 MORE than what was quoted!!! $680 a month!!! I laughed. Then he demanded to talk to my husband and refused to talk to me. I demanded to talk to the owner - he refused to leave a message for me. Finance manager then got on the phone - also refused to leave a message for me. Called a few times after to talk to the owner, nothing. I am a firm believer that for $50 that I lost and the dirt bag salesman gained will eventually slap him in the face. DO NOT BUY HERE !!! Made a purchase here back in October 2018, terrible experience. Loaded with hidden fees and shady dealings. The car listed for 23,990.00 on Car Gurus and when I went there I found the listing was incorrect because the car did not include the factory Tow Kit as it said in the add. Being I was already there I test drove it and decided to take it anyways and foot the 750.00 to have the tow kit installed because I was told by Anthony Oddo, the sales rep and the only person there at the time, that he would discount the Warrantee from 3000.00 to 1998.00 to cover for it. I didn't want the warrantee and that's when I should have left. This place looks like a chop shop, no employees, no sign of life, just empty desks. I didn't want the warrantee but it was cancellable and he said it was a 3 year bumper to bumper warrantee and it would only come out to 20.00 per month. All of this was a Lie! I waited almost 6 hours for Anthony Oddo to write up all the paperwork and when all was said and done he has the sell price of 27995.00 after my 5000.00 deposit!!! So I asked where this number came from and he tells me it includes certification fees, documentation fees, the tax and the warrantee which he now charged me 2495.00 for and now its 3 years or 36,000 miles with a 200.00 deductible. So being I knew the warrantee was cancellable anyway as it stated in the paperwork he gave me, I cut my losses and signed off, knowing I would just cancel the warrantee and call it a day. WRONG! Next day I called to cancel the warrantee and was immediately in an argument with Anthony Oddo who fought me tooth and nail not to cancel it. Then I found out why, he told me he would cancel it but I was only getting back 700.00 to 900.00 because he built the rest of the money into the price of the car? I PAID THE FULL ADVERTISED PRICE, WHAT WAS THERE TO BUILD IN???. I never received any money back at all. I tried to stop the credit card down payment for the 2945.00 that they stole from me for this warrantee but being the warrantee was built into the sell price there was no proof other than what the salesman scratched on a piece of paper showing how he ripped me off. Terrible experience, I have notified the Better Business Bureau, who was already familiar with them from past complaints and the NY Attorney General. I may never see that money again but it this rating costs them business, as it should, that's priceless. DO NOT BUY HERE!!! read more

COMPLETE GARBAGE- The biggest upset was the deceit. THESE PEOPLE ARE LIARS AND CROOKS!! I must've asked Sal and Anthony BOTH a half dozen times about hidden fees. "oh no, no... no hidden fees". NONSENSE! I put a deposit on the car, ran my credit. got me an excellent rate. When Anthony called me to discuss my payment, it didn't add up. the price was way over what it should have been with consideration of the price of the car, taxes, interest rate and my down payment. When I questioned Anthony over the phone, he assured me it was because of taxes and the warranty. the 25 month, 25000 mile warranty that they were charging me $3000 for!! So I went out on my own and purchased a warranty from a 3rd party that was equivalent to a "new car warranty"; so basically everything except maintenance is covered, a 5 year 125,000 warranty for $2600. obviously the one they "included" was overpriced crap... I also sold my trade for twice what they were going to offer me so i no longer had a trade. I was putting down cash. so when I called and spoke to Anthony to let him know the changes to the deal, that my down payment was doubling and i didn't need their $3000 warranty, he says "no problem, we will go over everything when you come to test drive the car". awesome, right? WRONG!! I specifically asked him if we could go over the numbers over the phone so i didn't have to waste an hour drive if the numbers didn't work. not once did he mention anything about any additional charges... So, I had my father in law drive me the hour distance because I thought I was leaving with the car... when we get there, Sal let me in cause the door was locked and says "before we go on the test drive, Anthony want to discuss some things with you".. Great.... So Anthony invites me in and goes over all the changes I spoke to him about over the phone, then asks about the warranty I purchased... I tell him the details and he tells me that there is NO WAY I got that kind of warranty for that price. whatever "buddy" I don't need to justify anything to you. just that I don't need your crap warranty.... So then he proceeds to tell me that because I am not purchasing their warranty, the price of the car just went up $1800?! WHAT?! Proceeds to tell me that they offer rock bottom prices and they have to make their money off the warranty.... OF COURSE THEY MAKE MONEY OFF OF OVER CHARGING FOR A CRAP WARRANTY!!! He inadvertently admitted that they make money off of ripping people off. He proceeds to show me an online ad that said you must purchase their warranty. Like that was his magical release for all the nonsense they spewed to me. Its like they play the good cop, bad cop role... Sal came off as a sweetheart of a gentleman... Anthony looked like he had just overdosed in the parking lot. Real grease ball. Kept implying how I was lying. kept up with his condescending tone and calling me "Buddy". I wonder how many times he has been socked in the mouth my potential customers he has lied to and disrespected in the past? Well.... Longer story short, I went to another dealership that night and paid $7000 more for no bullsh*t!
