I had my fuel tank pressure sensor replaced. I spoke to…read morePatrick the owner he said to drop it off and I picked it up later that day. I was very happy my engine light was out. I would definitely recommend Village Auto They were very honest professional and did what was needed. I would highly recommend.

I purchased a car from the dealer in June of this year. I was very happy with the purchase until I…read morehad the car for two days. All of a sudden the car started jumping and making noises. I contacted the Dealer and told him what was happening with the car. In the interim, I took the car to my mechanic, who told me that the brakes, the struts and the rotors were all bad. The straight bar was disconnected and the suspension was shot. This car passed inspection by someone that the dealer uses. How could this car have passed inspection? When I confronted the Dealer about this, he said that the car was fine. I got a quote from my mechanic for $2200 to have the repairs fixed. I contacted the Dealer and told him the situation he said to bring the car in and I said will the repairs be part of the warranty he said no. I had a 30 day warranty on the car, but he said it was just for the engine and the transmission. As per the lemon law the fact that the brakes the struts and the rotors were faulty. The car should've never passed inspection. The car was deemed unsafe to drive as per the law. This should've been covered under the warranty. The Dealer told me that he would lose money if he did the repairs for nothing because he would be making a very little on a used car. That is not my problem. I went in there and I trusted him to sell me a safe car. The car was over $10,000. - 11,800 with taxes and registration. I contacted him several times and he said the same thing over and over again he said to return the car and purchase another one. I said I never heard of such a thing in my life. You sold me a car and you are not standing by the law and having these dangerous Issues with the car repaired. He said return the car he'll do the repairs and I'll be able to sell the car for $13,000. What a disgraceful thing to say to someone who trusted him to do the right thing. I am going to be getting an attorney because I am so upset by how this man does business. The inspection that was done was by an outside person that he uses, and it was a fraudulent inspection because it should have never passed. The dealer claims he had nothing to do with the inspection. What????? I spoke to several lawyers who said that the car should've never been sold to me in the condition it was in and the car should've never passed inspection and I have all of this in writing. I really trusted this Dealer. I sent him the estimate from my mechanic with all of the things that were wrong with the car and he never responded. I called him today and he did not even wanna meet me halfway. He said you were supposed to bring the car and then I was gonna look at it. I said yes and you were gonna charge me. This is so unfair to do to someone. He wouldn't even meet me halfway with the repairs. He said the only thing that I have to do is tell you to return the car that's my legal responsibility. If you buy a car from this Dealer, make sure you bring your own mechanic in to do an inspection because the person he uses is fraudulent. I now have to spend money on repairs that I really don't have the money to spend, but I have no choice. Thank you thank you Azra for leading me to believe that this was a safe car that I was purchasing only to find out that it was not and to have to spend $2200 to have the repairs done. He keeps saying return the car return the car. I don't want return the car. I want him to do the right thing and he did not. I will also be calling the Better Business Bureau and leaving reviews on many sites warning against this dealership.

Bought a car from Richie about two years ago. I paid about 3000 for my ford Taurus which has been…read morerunning perfectly since the day I bought it. Zero stars if I could! I had a very unprofessional experience with Richard. I called ahead about a…read morespecific car and asked if I could come by on Saturday. He said he'd be available Sunday. I planned my day accordingly because it is a long way to get to LI from Harlem. I headed out but decided to call and confirm. No answer. Texted. No answer. He then replied on Monday he'd be there all week. Desperate for a car, I texted him back that I'd come out on Wednesday. I got out there by LIRR and he was not there. Called him and he said he'd be there in 10 minutes. He arrived with an attitude as though I was bothering him. Also noted he did not have the car I was interested out for me to test drive. It was parked sandwiched between a bunch of other cars. He did not want to pull it out unless I gave him a deposit. He also did not want me to have it inspected. He told me it had no rust. A friend of his arrived just as I was leaving and convinced him to get the car out so I could drive it. While they did so I went over to a garage two doors down and asked if they could do an inspection. I took the car out with is friend for a test drive. It was okay - not great but okay. Brought it over to be inspected and the mechanic hoisted it up and called me over. It was completely rusted out underneath. He told me not to buy it. The friend came in to have a look after I told him and he said he could spray paint it to cover the rust. I spent $75 on the inspection, $24 to get out there and a whole day of my time. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS GUY!!!
