This kind of behavior tells you everything you need to know about how they view customers: as targets, not people. Given our criteria and what our budget Anthony (our sales man) pointed out we could find a new Hyundai that exceeded our expectations. After a test drive, we told them that we were going to continue our quest since we were still investigating. We circled back to look at new cars at the previous dealerships. One sales lady used the "what do I need to do to get you into a car today?" method. We realized Hyundai had the most to offer. size features and warranty. We were very pleased that Hyundai was so confident in their car that they actually suggested we shop around. We ultimately purchased a car that exceeds our expectations, has phenomenal warranty, and will last us a decade. One final note is the finance manager actually soft-pedaled their extended warranty. He reminded us that the car already had a 10 year warranty when we were asking about extended warranties. Our salesman was Anthony and I feel very good recommending him to others.

The inspection was done by Rizzoli a highly trusted local group which gave me a lot of advice as to what kind of car to buy before I even went to any dealerships . Hyundai refused. They said that this inspection was just mere recommendations to which I say what is the point of even doing independent inspection With that attitude. I countered their $14,000 price asking them to apply to $2700 of fixes which they could do themselves in their own shop. And then I asked for an additional $2000 Discount for the hassle and the depression they sent me through because I was sure I was gonna buy this car because I was sure it was gonna pass the inspection. it did not. Absolutely under no circumstances should you buy a used car from the Hyundai dealership in San Luis Obispo They will not honor an independent inspection so therefore they are not trustworthy.

This was not my first "go around" here (previously I purchased a used Mini Cooper JCW) but I am happy to report to you, my dearYelp review Readers, that purchasing my latest vehicle (a used Ford F-250 Super Duty Truck) was quite simply "a pleasure". I walked onto the lot not expecting to find a reasonably priced truck (ya...prices today are uncomfortably high...for everything, but especially for vehicles) and there she was...a "just reduced"white F-250 Super Duty Truck, waiting for me to find her. Actually...it was the Mullahey Ford Representative, Jim Beckman, who steered me in the right direction. Jim was exceptional...personable, knowledgeable, very "laidback", friendly and funny. Due to these qualities , our rapport was instantaneous. If you end up looking for a vehicle at this Dealership...find him...it will be worth your time! Within minutes of the introduction to this F-250...my family and I were on a test drive. Needless to say, it went very well. Getting back to the Dealership, Jim was all smiles and asked how the test drive went. I replied...well, it was okay (when in fact, it went fabulously). We both laughed...we also both knew...I wanted that truck! Before purchasing the truck, Jim allowed me to do my "due diligence" and let me take the vehicle to my local mechanic for a total inspection (nice!), which resulted in this F-250 Super Duty Truck getting a clean bill of health and the recommendation from my mechanic of..."at that price, BUY IT!" So....I did! Adrian in the Finance Dept., got me a decent rate for the small loan I needed after my down payment and the deal was done within 4 days (Saturday - Wednesday). The communication, regarding every step of the process was constant...I always knew what was going on. The few concerns that I had with the truck were taken care of, again...with a smile and I am delighted with my purchase. On this occasion (as before), in this Yelper's opinion, Mullahey Ford in Arryo Grande "brought the goods" so to speak, with the right vehicle, price, service and of course Jim Beckman...in order to truly earn this "highly recommend - looking for a vehicle, come on down and have a look" 5 Star review!

Alignment was pretty bad as I had to rub out a libtard on a median strip who was trying to CHEAT and cut me off. Griffin was our repair agent and did a phenomenal job explaining the process. After my repair he took the extra time to mention some issues that might come up and was very thorough about everything. The entire staff was helpful, courteous and truly cared about what they did. Its hard to find employees that actually care and want to work nowadays. Thank you Mullahey Ford! ;)

Driving around on roads with potholes causes lots of debris and, eventually, stuff gets thrown against your windshield. My wife's car, a 2019 Kia Soul, had a crack which started about halfway across and just kept growing. So after seeing hundreds of TV commercials for Safelite, we called and made an appointment. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - Scheduling was simple. My wife did it online and Safelite confirmed twice before the day and time. - The price quoted online was $985 (with new wiper blades). This was without insurance (our deductible is $1,000) and no other price to compare. We figured Safelite would be about the same as comparable places. - Safelite is just north of the airport in Santa Maria so if that's your city it's quite convenient. - Her appointment was 930 AM on the first Saturday in January. It was busy, but the guy up front said it would be done by 4 PM. He called us at 315 PM. - The windshield looked fine and they cleaned the other windows in her car. - The "reception guy" was very friendly and helpful while handling other customers. Cons: - Who knows if the replacement cost of $985 was reasonable? We didn't want to shop around. - The Safelite office was 15 miles each way - twice - from our house in Nipomo. That's not too good, but the next closest Safelite places are Bakersfield and Ventura. - From all those TV commercials, you'd expect a Safelite truck to pull into the driveway of your house. I don't believe such a service is available from the one in Santa Maria.

And they fit my needs into the price I needed to pay. Their explanation on how it would work and their tutorial after it was installed was really good. They've also encouraged me to bring the car back anytime I need further explanation on how it works. Jay was especially kind and most helpful... a good man to have on your team!
