Arrived here on a Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 7:50am and they are suppose to be opened at 8am. Last time I arrived here there would usually be a line starting at 7:45am, so I decided to arrive early. There was no one here and the office lights were off. When it hit 8am, still, no one arrived. at 8:05am some one drive by and tells me that they are not opening today and will be open tomorrow. That's a bit frustrating to drive all the way there and no sign of it saying that it's closed today. They should also let people know when they are closed, because some people travel a bit just to get there. read more

Came by today on a Sunny day, within their regular business hours, and once again they are closed. This happened to me numerous time. It's either their worker decide not to come to work, or their water pump goes out, or they feeling like leaving early because their sixth sense is telling them it will be raining (even the weather report didn't mention anything about raining), or like this, straight up shutting doors and don't give a F about their customers. I bought one of their car wash card , pay for 10 up front and get 1 free carwash. Guest what, it's from 2022 January and I am still not able to use it all! Imagine how many times this happened to me before I decide to leave this 1 star review? They definitely deserve this. I posted an image with the card # and date to prove this. read more

I cannot give a three star review, because I wasn't present to watch 2 hour cleaning of my small sedan (Honda Fit). Honestly, I picked up 4 hours later, when I realized Auto Spa did not call me, though they had a sign in sheet with request to call. Considering the $55 spent for maximum cleaning, I am not entirely satisfied. I found a lot of spots not entire vacuumed in the trunk and rear passenger seat. In addition, the side of car had some spots not throughly rubbed. I have cleaned my own car for 2 hours and can tell if areas need touch up or not. For ultimate cleaning, I expected cleanliness to be 100% complete, not 85% completely. I don't plan on coming back, since quality does not match with cost spent. read more

This used to be our favorite car wash place until the owner decided to raise the prices by 50%! The super wash which included the exterior and interior was $27. Now it's freakin $40. WTH?? I get that inflation made prices higher but price gouging your customers is not the way to go. Maria the manager and front service desk is still here (hence a star for that alone bc her customer service is always on point) but you can tell that business has gone downhill. One of my fave Car Wash in SGV. I get my car wash every month and have been here for about a year or so. Every time I come, there are a few same people that is working. I come randomly and usually just before noon. Most of the time it isn't too busy and I can be in and out within 45mins to an hr. The busiest and longest time I've waited was an hr and a half. Good thing there are stores walking distance. My car gets cleaned and vacuum and its almost 100% clean. There are times I had to wipe down the interior a bit or the water dripping marks on the outside. I do have a baby seat, so I don't expect them to vacuum that. Overall, the workers are very nice and they work hard. My car is cleaned for a reasonable price and there's sb a few blocks away and a nice seating area to wait and chill. I was in desperate need of a car wash and wax. I called their office at 8:30am on a Saturday to check how long the wait was. Luckily they said it was not too busy today and I would be able to get taken care of right away. There was about 3 cars ahead of me when I arrived. I decided to do the Express Hand Wax service. That includes wash, wax, vacuum, and interior wipe down. I left my car and phone number with Maria, who is so sweet and was a pleasure to speak to. This location is next to to a plaza with lots of good food/drink options (Starbucks, Aroma Craft Coffee, Ten Ren, Waba Grill, Del Taco, etc). It was easy to kill time at this plaza while I waited for my car to get cleaned. If you don't want to take the short walk to the plaza, there's also a shaded waiting area with tables and chairs next to the car wash. About 1 hour later, Maria called me to let me know that my car was ready for pick up. I was at Starbucks so it was about a 3-5 minute walk back. They handed me my keys and I was on my way. My car looked soooo clean and shiny on the outside. The inside was vacuumed super well and everything was wiped down pretty decently. I do think they could have done a slightly better job about getting in the smaller nooks and crannies. Like they did not clean the side door pockets, and there was still a little dirt in some corners of of the cup holders. But overall, I think it was worth the price. Oh, and they did forget to put one of my floor carpets back . But they were very very apologetic when I went back to get it! Again, Maria is so sweet and kind! read more

I've come to the conclusion that this place must be a front for laundering money; either that, or it's designed to take a loss in order to offset revenues in another business, because I just do not understand how they can operate this way. I visited this place for the first time two years ago and was very pleased with their service. Upon my second visit I purchased the "Buy 10 get one Free" card. I received a stamp card that gets punched every time I get a wash. I thought this would be great, since they are right around the corner from my house, and I have multiple cars, might as well save a little bit of money and prepay for the washes. Well, here we are in 2022 and I still haven't used up all of these washes, and here's why: Their business hours are listed on Google from 8AM-5PM every day. I left work one Friday a little early and arrived at Car Code Auto Spa at 4:45PM only to be turned away, Maria stating that they are already cleaning up. Alright, fair enough, it's Friday, they're closing up shop a little early. I arrived the next day, Saturday, around 9AM. I was told that there is a long line, and that they won't be able to start on my car for at least 2 hours, meaning I wouldn't be able to pick it up until about 11:30-12. No big deal, I live close. Several of my visits went this exact same way. If I didn't arrive right at 8AM when they open, my car wouldn't be done for about 3 hours, and even on days where I was the first in line, it still took about an hour. This is for the most basic wash, I didn't add any additional services. On one particular occasion, I left work very early in order to arrive at Car Code with plenty of time to spare (not a Friday this time, during the week), knowing they like to close up shop early. I arrived on this day at 4:33PM, again I was turned away, Maria stating they close at 4:30PM. I didn't want to argue with Maria about their hours stating 5PM, I just went home. I've put up with this regressive service for several washes because they are so close to my house, but this past week tipped me over the edge and prompted me to write this. Again I leave work early with plans to get my car washed. I arrived at Car Code at 4:12PM, again to be turned away. Maria said they close at 4PM! I don't understand how they can afford to operate like this! They are only able to wash about 2-2.5 cars per hour, and they seemingly close whenever they want. The employees must take some time off for lunch, meaning they probably only wash about 18-20 cars/day. After my last wash on this card, I will not be buying another one, and I will be very reluctant to patronize this wash again, even if they do turn their service around... read more

I didn't have to wait long on a Saturday morning. They cleaned up my truck pretty good however they left quite a few scratches. I have some pretty bad gashes right below my driver door. They are pretty low so I assume they banged their little ladders just under the door to clean the roof. I know for a fact they caused all my scratches because my truck was only 9 days old, band new. Dirt spots everywhere, dirty windows and didn't even empty her trash bag and didn't vacuum under the mats or her rear seat cover for her dog well at least a couple of passes. Over all She was RIPPED OFF for $50 of her hard earned dollars and She also tipped him pretty good. Overall stay away from Walnut car wash. Came here a week ago at 3PM. The old lady at the shop rejected me because she said the shop's full but I saw only 3-4 cars left and there are still 2 hrs till closing time. She told me to come back again, and so I was today. I came earlier now at 1.30pm but she rejected me again, she said the internet broke down and she can't do card payment. So I offered cash and she said ok then you have to wait for another 2 hours. Seemed like she doesn't take her job professionally. Rejecting customer because she's tired. Discovered Carcode through Yelp and I was definitely impressed! The car wash options in the Walnut area are so abysmal, so I was looking forward to this promising newcomer. Stopped by on a Saturday around 3pm, and the employee told me to get a car wash it would take 45 minutes - 1 hour to complete. It was quite busy, but my car desperately needed a wash. There's a small outdoor waiting area, but I think the owners can work on adding some chairs in the space. The folks at the car wash were nice and answered all my questions. The cost for a regular wash is $19.99 and the next tier is $22 (to get a matte finish). I opted for the regular and my car came back spotless! The regular also includes vacuum for the interior. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely return to Carcode! read more

After 4+ years of going to the $10-15 auto car washes that are all over the place now, we started realizing those just leave a heavy residue on the paint and this is especially apparent on white cars. We had heard awesome reviews about this place and decided to make the drive from Long Beach. We did the full detail (clay, wax, cleaning) We were unsure all that baked in grime would be removed from the paint on our 2011 Odyssey but i was quite wowed! Their detailing is top quality. The paint was so smooth and all that grime gone and was so shiny. Interior was refreshed and cleaned all those toddler food and drink stains on the beige seats were gone. Well worth the money. This is my first time ever going to an auto spa or any car wash for that matter (I usually wash my car or have it washed at the dealership after routine maintenance), but I was referred by a friend. Brought in my RC 350 F sport for a fresh wash, wax, and interior clean. Car was spotless, clean, and looked as if I just drove it off the dealership lot brand new. No swirl marks and no water spots on the outside. The outside is as smooth as a baby's bottom. They did excellent work on the interior clean, especially on the seats since they are ventilated with those tiny "holes" for air to seep out of for seat cooling/heating. Unfortunate thing about seats like those are that the holes can get easily clogged by anything like lint or crumbs but they did an amazing job cleaning that stuff out. Everything done here is done by hand which means they have excellent hardworking employees that will take car of your car. Took about an hour for all 3 things, but will be longer if you go on a crowded day! Location is in a great area/neighborhood with plenty of food places (Ten Rens, Starbucks, Subway, Waba Grill, etc) nearby to walk and hang out at while you're waiting for your car. Carcode's repair shop is literally next door so you can have a tune up if you need to. Starts at $13 for an express wash and goes up. Pricing all depends on what you want for your car, but it will be worth it for sure to go all out. HIGHLY recommended and I will always be coming here every few months even though I live all the way in Ontario. Definitely worth it. read more

I usually wash my own cars, but if I was too lazy or just don't wanna wash it myself, Car Code Auto Spa is the only place I would trust washing my car. They take longer than other car wash, but they don't leave out any spots. Everything is cleaned up nicely, even inside of the wheel barrels. That's something other car washes don't really wash. The brake dust on my carbon fiber wheels is so bad, but they are able to clean it off nicely. read more

Been coming to this place for about 3 years now and they definitely changed everything. First the price keeps going up which is understandable but when the quality of work goes down with it it's not worth the extra price. I just think the owner is very greedy based on that they only have 3 workers and yet they raise the price. Second coming into the shop with the vibe from the employees saying since the price has gone up less people are coming in which basically says they get less tip based on the price to wash the car. Lastly was after having the car there for about 2 hours the car was not very cleaned at all. I actually had to point out the areas that wasn't cleaned off outside and inside. Took the car home and had to redo the wipe down because it wasn't even cleaned. I would never come back again with the experience and price that I paid here. read more

I've had nothing but good experiences at this car wash. I have also gotten service at the Car Code mechanic next door, and would recommend them too. I think the price is comparable to most other car washes. They take their time, so don't come here in a hurry. But the fact that they take their time shows in the result. They also have a rewards card and everyone is friendly and helpful. They have a shaded waiting area and you can also walk about a block or two over and there is a little shopping area with coffee shops/restaurants if you feel like it. Came by on Wed, 12/23 and they were slammed. Maria helped me and suggested returning on Saturday, 12/26. I came by Saturday morning and met her again. I got a basic wash on the exterior of my truck and a basic interior detail. The main reason I came was for the loads of dog hair from my lab that was basically part of the floor upholstery at this point. I was aware removing dog hair is more expensive due to the labor involved (I've always had dogs), so there was no surprises on the price increase. Keep this in mind dog owners - most places charge more for pet hair removal and if you want to know why, try doing it yourself haha. For what I asked for and needed, this place worked for me. Maria (I think that's her name?) listened to me and primarily focused on the dog hair. Of note - I had an Apple charging cord go missing. I emptied my truck (I always do, makes it easier for places to truly deep clean) but left the Apple charging cord and my USB-C cord since we needed them during daily driving. Not a huge deal, but also why I completely remove everything from my vehicles before taking them in. For the record, I don't think it was intentional (at least I hope not), but a reminder to everyone to remove belongings before going to any car wash. The vacuums and hustle and bustle of these places makes it easy for items to go missing. read more

This place used to be Lemon Hand Car Wash...new owner and new name...for same quality hand wash which isn't the best...also they raised the prices by a lot more making it definitely not worth it...unfortunately I'm stuck going here because my car is lowered and won't go thru machine washes...they leave streaks on your windshield so later on in the day you can see the wipe marks from the cloth which becomes very annoying when the sun is out or at night time...also they miss a lot of spots when doing the hand wash so just because new owner...same quality car wash...nothing better then the previous owner...and more $$$ and lack of hand wash satisfaction i give them 1* also the wait is ridiculous sometimes...i really wish the quality would improve for the price raise....if not i really Hope a better hand wash opens up Ohh yea and on another note...always when you drive off...water drips from your mirror and other parts of car causing you to hand wipe it down yourself when you get home!!! She walked me through the prices and gave her recommendation based on the amount of dead bugs on the front of my car lol. She hopped right in truck and took it from there. Went to Carcode to get my car washed last week and was not disappointed. I am one of those guys that really neglects their car until it is way too dirty that it becomes embarrassing to drive around regularly. So as a preface - yeah, my car was really dirty. I opted in for the $22 wash with the matte finish. I was told it would take around 45 minutes to an hour which was fine. I just sat and waited as they took their time to clean my baby. I didn't mind because I noticed they were making sure to get all the little nooks and spots that other car washes just ignore to get you in and out in 20 minutes. This was definitely a plus on their part. At the end of the was, which took about 50 minutes in total, my car was spotless and reflectively shiny. I think it was the best $22 wash I've ever spent. I have definitely paid $40 at other places to get a wash that was not as good. I would recommend this spot 11/10 times to anyone in the area. Thank you Carcode, you have my business! read more
