My car was there for a month it was only supposed to go to get diagnosed and they broke some hoses and left off a few parts I had to go back up to there to retrieve and they told me I need a 1100 dollar part that was not needed and they charged me 600 dollars for repairs that were never done how did a 168dollar diagnostic turn into a moth and 600dollars and car still doesn't run these supposed to be gentleman are crooks and shade tree mechanics if you wanna waste money with no results this is shop for you had to come out of pocket to pay another shop to fix what they broke and the repair to get car running instead of admitting did not know how to fix issue they kept my car in a repair hostage situation as if they could figure it out diagnostic turned into a month of repair shop hell and money hemorrhage I wouldn't recommend this shop to my worse enemy read more

From that site I was directed to Car Clinic in Hesperia. I then found them on Yelp and after seeing their great reviews I decided to give them a call. I first spoke to Lisa who was very helpful. After giving her a lengthy description of everything I wanted done, Lisa said she would get back to me with a price. A short time later Jim called and went over in detail all that I was looking for. I also asked if my transmission needed to be serviced. Jim told me I could wait another 8,000 miles instead of just doing it and taking my money unnecessarily. Purchased a my first vehicle a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Corona Auto Gallery Mitsubishi last year that broke down literally 2 days off of the lot. Dealer sold the vehicle as is no warranty so I was left with no option but to repair. Jim was the first mechanic I was able to find that was very close to where I live. Had it towed over and it was repairs from there! Turns out the vehicle had blown head gaskets that had caused a coolant leak and resulted in overheating and a lock in the ignition system. Jim has been there at any moments notice working hard to figure the problem out! Which he did successfully! Great service and I will keep bringing my vehicles to Jim! read more

Inside their lobby there is a sign says must wear a mask yet the lady in the office plus all the workers outside NO MASKS. Had one worker in my drivers seat NO MASK. Guess these people think its ok to endanger everyone while there is a pandemic all over the country. So I was told on phone they fix carburetors. Unfriendly guy that works on cars takes very short look then says he won't fix it so I waste $130 on towing FOR NOTHING. BEWARE of this place! read more

I just went to Car Clinic to ask about warranty work on my vehicle the woman at the desk explained our be liable 4 labor not authorized buy the warranty whatever that means and also that they do not assist vehicle rentals while my car is being repaired!! I asked if there was any way she could work with me as this is my only vehicle kitschy assist me in anyway and getting a rental she flat out said no!!! She was not helpful in any way extremely rude and when I asked don't you care to get my business she flat-out said we don't need your business!!! One of the most unprofessional experiences I've had with a mechanic. How does a car drive into a shop for repairs and 900$ later the customer is told that, by "coincidence", it needs to be towed away and should be used as a paper weight. When confronted the main proprietor of the establishment, from within 2 inches of my face, starts yelling at me. Obviously he is ashamed of the terrible work he does and cannot even confront his own faults. For the life of yourself and others DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! They wont even call you back with a quote. After contacting them asking about a water pump replacement the secretary said "Is that all?" A 500-600 dollar repair inquiry is met with "Is that all?"!!! Tim and Jim at Car Clinic are the BEST! For over twenty years they have performed service on the Simmons family cars. They have maintained our 1998 Mercury Villager, which we are sentimentally attached, in such a manner that I would hop in tomorrow and take it on a road trip. Always prioritizing and scheduling maintenance in such a manner that over those twenty five years the only time we have had an issue with a car not starting has been a drained battery due to usually my neglect to turn off headlights. Tim and Jim, and now Lisa, and Candace before her have become part of our family. They have shared joys and the loss of my brother and father over the years. Their kind and respectful treatment of my now 79 year old mother, Karen Simmons, warms my heart as she is greeted with smiles and a kiss on the cheek when she comes in to see them. Recently, she purchased a new Camry, and I still bring my 2008 Nissan to them, but they insist my mother come by and say hello even though the Camry is covered by dealer warranty. Yes, the Car Clinic staff have never let us down, performing work in a timely manner with heartfelt enthusiasm and personal pride. I have been going to Car Clinic for over 10+ years and I have always gotten wonderful customer service and high quality work . They have kept both my cars in in tip top shape without adding any extras. I had gone to get my brakes fixed where I bought my tires and they failed to do something that was needed regarding the calipers. Our car broke down on a freeway 88 miles from home due to this. Once I returned home (missed my cousin's funeral) I took it to Car Clinic. They found the problem and told me that I should tell the shop about this as that was what caused the breakdown. We've heard so many good things from our friend Manny about the Car Clinic that my husband took his Toyota Tundra there to see why the engine light is on and to check about getting it smogged. My husband is a senior and on entering the reception area, he saw two people (one definitely an employee) look his way and then go back to talking. He stood there for a few minutes and no one so much as asked how they could help him or why he was there. He looked around to see if someone else would assist him and when nobody did, he walked out and says he'll never go back. We've heard the prices are good and the repairs are thorough. Valley-Hi Toyota wanted $125 just to diagnose why the engine light was on, so that's why my husband thought he'd give Car Clinic a try. Now he never wants to return. It's close to where we live and we're in the market for a reliable, trustworthy mechanic/shop to see to our truck issues. I'm really disappointed. read more
