I had my first maintenance done in November and was pleased. When my starter died, I arranged to have it towed to Hadwin White for repairs. I called to make sure I could pick up a loaner before I jumped in the tow truck to ride to Conway from Myrtle Beach. I spoke with Christine and Alison and neither one could promise me one of the two loaner cars they had on the lot at 3:00 in the afternoon. I was told I needed to have it evaluated before they could give me a loaner car and could not provide a car even though I had a dead starter and a 4:00 pm appointment for the next day. As the tow truck was pulling my car away, Alison called back and said I could have a loaner car if I agreed to a $155 diagnostic. At that point, I'd already made arrangements to have it towed to an independent garage. I'd paid a premium in the past to work with the service department at a dealership because they provided a premium service at a premium price. Hadwin White put an end to that.

Terrible Service Dept…read more.. Bought 3 cars from Grand Stand Nissan. Service Dept will STOP me from buying another. The absolute worst service department. You walk into service, 3 people staring at their computer, you have to say something to be welcomed. Highly unprofessional. I made a follow up appt for my rear brakes, they quoted 2 hours, it took 3 HOURS. When I asked for update after 2 hours, the service manger came out and acted like it was being impatient. It take 1.5 hours to do rear brakes. What annoyed me was he made it sound like I was unreasonable for asking him why it was taking so long. To top it all off, they charged $529 for rear brakes.... The parts were only $150. Gouging their repeat customers... SAD.. Horrible service department.

After exhausting all options, including calling the number provided on the gate, (which was not in service) calling the police, who couldn't really do anything (not their fault), and calling every number listed online, we were forced to abandon our vehicles at the dealership. Unfortunately, this was on a Saturday night, meaning we went all day Sunday without a car. We arrived early Monday morning to try and retrieve our cars (about 30 minutes before opening), and were completely ignored by the service department employees. They looked at me knocking on the door from inside, and walked away. They only came to check on me when they officially opened. So, I was banging on the door for over 30 minutes like an idiot, because the employees couldn't care enough to check on us. When they reluctantly opened the door, I told them about our situation, and they spoke to me like I was dumb, before FINALLY opening the gate, just in time for us to sit in morning rush hour traffic on 501. I cannot stress enough my displeasure, embarrassment, and disgust for this place. The employees and management do not care, and will treat you like you're a moron and an inconvenience. Suffice to say, we will not be buying any vehicles from this dealership, nor any dealerships affiliated with this one.
