Dukes towed my daughter's car from the Coastal Carolina game tonight. She parked in a lot that she shouldn't have but Dukes was waiting in lot for kids to park for the game and as soon as they walked away from the car they hooked it and towed it. 270 dollar tow bill. Strange because the single tow limit is 242 dollars. My wife picked the car up and the owners were complete jerks about the whole thing. I wish I could leave a zero star review. As several have already commented on here, my son's truck was towed while at the Coastal game last night. There wasn't any clear signage stating that vehicles would be towed. He was parked at a strip mall along Hwy 544. When him and several of his friends returned, all of their vehicles were gone. They went into the one business that was open and asked if they had them towed. They said no that this company sits in the parking lot and waits for people to leave their vehicles and then tow them. They then charged me $272 (cash or cash app only) to get my son's truck. I asked how they know that he wasn't in the business? They replied that they were staged in the parking lots waiting. They told me they do this for every CCU home game. The way they prey on folks is absolutely disgusting! I could understand if the business owner had an issue and asked for it to be towed. The business owner was rather dissatisfied with the whole situation as well. read more

just came and randomly towed my car no warning and chargong 375 just to get it out first day and 40 everyday in thrre insanely unreasonable no one eve consider this company if u want a good trustworthy company thats will do good by u and not rip u off and take ur car and leave u stranded with nothing and no way to get it back read more

If I could do a negative stars, I would have.They towed my truck when it was parked legally at a strip mall, had to call the police and they made them bring it back. If anyone else has this happen, call the cops. They will do a report and make them bring the car back to you. Also they will report them, and with enough proof and complaints. take their business license from them. Please don't let bad business like this keep taking advantage of people. "Claimed they called insurance company to let them know their rollback was broke down for a second" We called insurance company they had not been called! I can not even give 1 star. They towed my 18 year old daughters car right in front of her after she supposedly parked in a tow lot. She did not see a posted sign. This left her stranded late at night in the middle of Conway. Who does this to a child Dukes recovery does. Also, the payment had to be in cash which tells you right there they do not want a paper trail of what they are doing. They need to be shut down!! read more

Predatory towards college students in the area, and very unprofessional. Had to work on a final project, and left my car at circle K to avoid getting towed from Coastal Club.. then what do you know, an hour later my car is GONE, along with my other classmate's car. These people are charging $242 for a tow that's literally not even 4 mins down the road from school. Charging college students that amount is absurd, and last year I got my car towed all the way to Myrtle from coastal club and it was $140 cash, so how does that make sense ?! SC or Horry County needs to look into these people, and I hope they get the karma they deserve. read more

I live in a community where Dukes Towing is being used as the parking enforcement. These guys think towing a car is a repo operation. I can understand if that's the situation you act accordingly. This is not that situation. We are not allowed to park on the street or grass after 9pm. Dukes rolls through the neighborhood fast and quiet. Not even a back up beeper. I know because my girlfriends car was towed the other night. We were outside and I heard a diesel engine but it didn't register in my head initially but when I realized oh crap it's past 9 that's a tow truck I ran around the house and he was gone. Literally 10 seconds he got it. $251 for parking in your own neighborhood accidentally left the car in the street waiting on my daughter to get off work watching her kids. Dukes has an after hours procedure posted but refuses to answer after they tow your car and makes you wait till the next day. They act scared because they know how they act is completely evil. Karma will eat these people up. I hope they get what they want and deserve. Zero stars read more

They towed my car illegally with a parking pass inside of the vehicle. When my girlfriend got there, she showed the man that work there that we had a parking pass for our apartment. So therefore they towed illegally & I would not recommended this shitty place. Horrible customer service. They look to just steal your money. read more

This is the WORST place to ever exist. They towed my car, which was unwarranted since I did in fact have a parking pass. I called the place and they did not let me come to get my car until 1. I get there and walk into the run down shack of a business and am instantly greeted by cigarette smoke. One employee is laying on the couch with sunglasses on (most likely hung over). The man tells me to get my insurance and registration from my car outside, when I return he is nowhere to be found. Sun glass couch guy tells me he's in the bathroom. I wait a few minutes and he exits the bathroom instantly filling the cigarette smoke with a rancid fecal smell. He tells me it will be 160 dollars. so I get out my card, and he tells me he does not accept cards. Cash only. Scamming red neck crap hole of a place. Zero stars. read more

Not only has this terrible company repeatedly towed me & my friend's cars from our OWN apartment complex, but they require $160 cash & will tow the SAME car MULTIPLE days in a row when THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO DO SO. My roommate just got her car towed for the second day in a row and they tried telling her it was an "accident"??? Are you JOKING? We are all young adults with immense amounts of financial stress + responsibilities such as work and school, and this trashy towing company that reeks of cigarettes and garbage the second you walk into the office, takes advantage of that just to earn a few extra hundred $$$ a day. I will mention that the woman tries to be nice despite the unnecessarily stressful situations they put us in, but the man is an ABSOLUTE a**hole. Pure hillbilly with a nasty attitude. Not to mention my new white car was FILTHY when I picked it up, with dirt & mulch coating the entire drivers side of my car, and all my friends agreed that their cars looked absolutely disgusting after picking it up from this ratchet place. Towing companies literally have 1 job.... so ya'll should PROBABLY learn how to do it right & STOP TOWING RESIDENTS THAT PAY TO PARK AT THEIR OWN APARTMENT COMPLEXES. I came to pick up my car today and no one was there. The website stated that on Saturdays the hours were from 12-5 pm. I arrived at around 3:15. On the door, there was sign that had the correct hours, but a big opposing sign that read "we're open." I decided to call, and a man picked up. He said the hours listed on the sign were correct and they weren't in. I explained that the hours were wrong on the website and he proceeds to tell me I should've came earlier. I am a college student and I had class during the week so I wasn't able to. I also tried to get the shuttle to take me, but they don't go that way so it was hard getting a ride. Not to mention, I thought the hours listed on the website were correct. I started to cry and about 30 mins later I decided to call again to ask if there was anyway I could get it today. A woman picked up and I explained that I lived 3 hours away and I needed to get my car to go home. She seemed to not care and told me they would be open tomorrow at 1. The website says that they are Closed tomorrow. I explained to her that the website was wrong and she seemed very nonchalant. I 100% don't recommend this place and wish they would obtain some common decency because their customer service is downright terrible. read more
